**POSTS MERGED**

ok lm answering my own question but l think tna should hav eanother show on sunday or weds that when no wrestlings on. the gm would be vince russso jim correte would be gm of impact they should drat like wwe the x-divison on eone show and tag on other show.

the nwa would be on both untill somthin ghappens like wwe and then impact gets nwa and th eother would get only x-divsion .

You may as well just edit posts instead of double posting. Anyway there's no reason for there two be two brands. WWE has the two brands for a variety of reasons, none of which apply to TNA with the exception of it possibly giving certain people more airtime. However, it's not exactly a bad thing in many cases to have limited airtime cause not everyone should reach the top as fast as possible or receive pushes as fast as possible. It happens in WWE with a lot of guys and with titles being passed out to everyone, and it becomes a clusterfuck.

TNA definately needs a second hour. Whether it be a second hour of Impact or a second show, but preferably a second hour to Impact. But TNA could never sustain a brand split. They simply put do not have enough people on their roster for a split, and neither does WWE to be honest. WWE's roster is so much deeper than TNA's and yet still there is not enough talent on that roster to be able to put together 2 worthwhile shows.

TNA needs to concentrate on becoming a stronger brand in itself. They need more exposure, they need more wrestlers, they need to loose the dead weight on the roster, they need to chase up disgruntled WWE stars, they need to sign more indy guys, they need more Luchas, more TV time. I just think they need to stop stunting their growth. Dixie has purposely kept TNA down, so that the company grows slow and doesn't awake the sleeping giant in WWE. But they don't need to anymore. The time is right now.

Vince has no idea what he is doing. The man and the company on the whole are lost. Similar to when they were completely out of touch in 1996 and WCW took them by surprise, again the WWE is lost. And TNA needs to capitalise right now. Vince, in his infinate ignorance, cannot see his mistakes. And it will take him a good six months to realise it after TNA starts taking it to him. Dixie needs to give TNA clearance to just go BANG. They have held back waiting for the time when they can pounce. And that time has come. WWE will take a long time to realise their mistakes and re-adjust. TNA can really make a go of it in that time.

Even with a second hour, there will still be wrestlers undeservedly left off the show. There are about a dozen guys in the X-Division and two hours would probably only mean one or two X-Division matches. Not only could TNA use a second hour, but they could use a second two-hour show

Most def. It just goes to show the evolution of wrestling. Back in the late 90's people said two shows was too much wrestling - that it was overkill. Fast forward a few years and anything less than 4 hours per week isn't adequate. There is just soooo much amazing talent and so much going on storyline-wise in wrestling these days. You need a good 20 minutes on a show just to properly execute all the segments. Couple that with putting on some decent length matches and it really becomes a big task.

Personally I love the ROH schedule. Of course the only way to follow it is on DVD, and it isn't actually taped in this way, but when you spread it out it equates to a 3 hour show every week - give or take one here and there. It gives them a lot of time in which to run through all of their segments and matches and it all comes off looking really good. Nothing is rushed, at no point is it slow and painful, they have found a perfect balance and fit it into those 3 hours quite well.

I think this was also what made WCW Nitro so special at one point. Before the huge booking debacle in 1999 and the mass exodus in early 2000, Nitro came off looking really good. They got a whole lot of matches done, a whole lot of segments done and everything fit together and progressed well. Their maineventers got the time they needed, but at the same time, they had all these amazing young talents out there doing their thing. They just fucked up by never capitalising on these great talents.

maybe. because they need more championships for these names that are going to get bigger, and i have noticed that the roster is getting bigger too and maybe it could be a good idea but they also should avoid it since they dont want to be a lot like wwe.

Thinking long term; yes.
Thinking Short term; suicide.

The only dumber thing to do is go head to head with Raw.

In time they should expand to 2 hours, but for now it's way too early for a brand split. TNA is still relatively new, and is nowhere near competing with WWE yet. They should be focusing on putting the best hour of wrestling on TV that they can right now, not stretching out their roster.

It isn't "should they" it is "can they." TNA is not bringing in high enough ratings yet for Spike TV to jump at the oppurtunity to give them more air time. And, if they got another hour, or another show, they should just use it as a continuation not another brand. Use it to add more development to fueds, get everybody screen time everyweek. Look at VKM, thats one of their biggest angles yet they only appear about once every 2 or 3 weeks, because they don't have time to give everyone screen time every week.
