Champion Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Consequences Creed​

If anyything this should be a good match. But would this have really have been a good enough X-Division match a few years ago? It appears to me as though Creed & Daivari just aren't in the same league as the likes of Styles & Daniels. Even Williams & Sabin. That might be because the title isn't presented as being anywhere near as important as it once was, or it might just be the two wrestlers involved.

I'm surprised by the outcome. I honestly thought that Creed would win. While it's hardly Hogan vs. Slaughter, I automatically assumed the patriotic hero would come out on top. Especially against a heel as tasteless as Bashir.

I hear Creed bought out a wounded war hero to the ring with him. If that's the case then the ending is really odd. He comes out with a guy with no legs, hoping to have a big victory, then he loses. Only TNA would book an ending like that.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the war hero was Zack Gowan. New name: Shrapnel.
