I think I'm going to be able to finish our draft Saturday or Sunday night. That way I'll be able to focus on the tournament. Good to see some buzz inserted here. Love it!

I'll take 15/1 and 4th (well 6th if proph and peep stayed in). Anyone know for certain what match they're doing yet (assuming we get the choice, because the poll looks like it.)?
 
I have to say that I am losing enthusiasm for the tournament rapidly. It needs to be kept simple and I think with all the polls and stuff, it is running out of steam. And with people like Peep and Proph dropping out, the 'prestige' of winning it is dropping too.

Theo: Yay, I'm the tournament winner, the best writer here on BT!

Prophet: But you didn't beat me!

Peep: Nor me!

IMO, it needs to be kep really simple, one match, you choose it, you write it and it gets judged by several people. Results are averaged out, job done. Winner announced. All this talk of stipulations, multiple matches, specified wrestlers and such is slowing it all down. Just my opinion!
 
I was hoping with the polls that it would get more enthusiasm from guys. The goal here is to challenge you to show off your best work, not only for the judges, but for everyone to see. Im willing to accomodate anyone if its reasonable, so just say so here. I want to get this thing started tomorrow, and give you a full week to write the one match. As for the polls, consider them closed, I think everything is pretty sorted out. Are we good to go for tomorrow guys?

awesome_miz, there's nothing for you too to "prove us wrong" about. From my understanding, none of us have seen you write before (I surely haven't). We don't know if you can put up 3,000 word thrillers, or 100 word dumps. Point is, WE DON'T KNOW how you write, so there's nothing to prove us wrong about. You are technically the front runner here since we've never seen any work from you.
 
This tournament I think would be best off going with everyone of the people interested putting their work in a qualifying round, then the top 2-4 move on to the championship round.

Just me, though.
