Getting Noticed By Management
Watching Bobby Roode hypes for the past couple of months has gotten me more and more pumped about Roode. I can't wait to see him wrestle. Anyways, in his last segment (which was extremely entertaining by the way) he mentioned that in his search for a new manager he may have to look outside the box. In other words, he's going to bring a manager in from outside TNA. Who do you suggest be Bobby Roode's manager? I say that the purpose of a manager for a heel is to add more heat to that wrestler so the person has to be simply annoying to watch. The person also needs to be a better heel than Roode himself (not an easy feat). So, who should it be TNA fan's? Who is the manager of the new smooth operator?

By the way, I think the person that manages Roode should be none other than the best manager of all time, Bobby Heenan.

its probably gonna be jake the snake.... since he's supposed to have an on screan tna kinda thing... i doubt he's gonna wrestle so why not manage "the top free agent in wrestling" but about rhoode.... i dont think hes that good

He's good on the mic..decent in the ring..

and that match...I thought the scrolling text at the beginning was friggin awesome

Paul Bearer or maybe the Million Dollar Man TEd Dibiase. I also think Bobby Roode could compete in the X Division in singles competition.

Unfortunately, Paul Bearer is creating his own wrestling right now out in his home state (I forget where exactly). Besides, Bearer would definitely not fit Roode's style. Dibiase on the other hand is a great candidate. He just left WWE, so maybe he'll join TNA and manage Roode. By the way, I see nothing but Heavyeight matches for Roode in the future. After this hype, if they were to put him in the X division it would be a huge joke throughout the wrestling world.

Ted DiBiase would be great. Bobby Roode will be NWA Heavyweight Champion in five years. He is that good. He reminds me of Curt Henning, Rick Rude and Ted DiBiase...I just hope he doesn't fall into their trape and not hit that top level and get the title.

In my opinion out of all of TNA's talent he is the one WWE would want first.

Correction: The X title is important. I personally want to see more Heavyweight compete for it. I think Ron Killings...pre-exiting the company...and Bobby Roode could easily hold that title. Remember is in't like WWE/WCW cruiserweight title more like their US/Intercontinental titles in terms of honor.

The X title isn't about weight limits its about no limits

heres a question how would roode get the title in an ultimate x match? i dot see him goin for the x div titile.... they should invest in a tv title or something

No, you will see Bobby Roode as the NWA champion in a much faster time than five years. I say a year and a half tops.

I think he should start in the x-division. It is the mid-card title! I dont understand why they would push him soooo hard for the NWA title. What I can see is him and Joe feuding in the near future! both undefeated. Thats why joe should not have the title right now!!

I agree about the TV title. I am not really sure what the X-D title is. I understand its more toward High flying but Samoa Joe is 300lbs and Nash wants the belt too.
TNA needs to decide if X-D title is for highflyine xtream, hardcore, or a mid-card belt!

I think it should be midcard and not have a belt specifically for cruiserweights! Have more heavyweights compete like Rhino, Abyss, Joe, Konan, even Jarrett!

im not a big fan of tna but i saw it a couple times and liked him alot...is he related to rick rude?

Samoa Joe can do high flying moves though. You've honestly never seen him do any high flying moves? How much do you watch TNA? As for Nash, that's kind of like a joke. He wants to win it to show that big guys can squash the X division (in the storyline). That's why he's been talking about how he can do flips now. LOL.

No, Bobby Roode isn't related to Rick Rood. They just named him that to show how much he's like Rick Rood (and he really is). He just really looks like him. Bobby Roode is hilarious on the mic and he's great (not good, great) in the ring. Did you see the interview when he was looking for a new manager? Here it is if you didn't see it. This was some classic stuff.

Bobby Roode along with other fresh TNA talent like Lance Hoyt and A1 need to be pushed to the next level. Then TNA can be proper competition instead of the old WCW main events at the moment.

Bobby Roode is getting a push, but A1 just doesn't have it. I've never seen that much from Lance Hoyt, but I know for a fact that A1 doesn't have it. He's more of a guy who just comes out and destroys his opponents. You can't build a company around that. I like the current storyline for the Heavyweight championship though, since so many people like Sting and hate Jarrett. Also, now Christian has a ton of heat on him from the crowd because of what he did to Sting and Rhino. That raises Rhino's popularity even more now. So that's why I like the current situation, but I think if Jarrett stays in the story past bound for Glory the story line with him may just get a little stale. But yeah, I don't think there's anyone that watches TNA that can't wait for Bobby Roode as much as me, so when he gets into the main picture for the heavyweight title (not to distant future) I will be extremely excited.

A1 is like the canadian Batista of TNA... Wether thats a good or a bad thing I'll leave up to you guys.

my thoughts

I don't understand why TNA is trying to hype up Roode. He doesn't show anything much other wrestlers do. He just shows me the things that Mike Knox could do in a ring, and that isn't much.

I agree... Roode really isnt good... They have so many more talented people on there roster and there pushing Bobby Roode... Big mistake by TNA in my opinion..

TNA just can't seem to get their pushes right. They are actually just hurting a lot of their guys. Monty Brown and Abyss are quickly becoming jokes, seeing as how noone will move aside to give them a legit title win. I honestly dont see Roode getting anywhere near the NWA title. They'll push him of course... but they have pushed others a lot harder, and they still cant get past that glass ceiling
