Or Al Horford or Joakim Noah or Marc Gasol. No doubt, they had plenty of other options...Better ones. Blazer fans must be getting annoyed as this is Sam Bowie all over again but worse as Bowie > Oden.

It's scary how bad they been lately. Sometimes they really look worse out there than Charlotte. Hopefully they try to get a good draft pick and use it this time to get someone who has knees.

They really didn't want to give up on him obviously since it took this long, but I guess his latest injury was just the absolute last straw. Can't blame them for dropping him. Bad pick, yes, but also a lot of bad luck as well. Unlike some other busts, he actually showed some promise. Shame. I wonder if he'll ever get back to playing in the NBA with some other team. What would suck even worse for the Blazers is if he rejoins the NBA with another team and never misses another game for the rest of his career, picking up achievements along the way. I mean, it just comes down to who has worse luck- Oden or the Blazers franchise. Too close to call, we'll just have to wait and see.
