Black/White structure from Wrestlemania 3...

Just got done watching the Hall of Fame ceremony that I had DVR'd. During Trump's intro they showed that famous shot....probably the most famous shot in WWE history: The birds eye view of the Pontiac Silverdome at Wrestlemania 3 with 93,000 in attendance. I should have that picture framed and put in my garage.

Anyways, from that shot I'm sure you've all noticed that big black and white structure off to the side. Anyone know what this was?? With all the talk about the last two Wrestlemanias and so many fans complaining about their obstructed views...I couldn't help but think how many fans in attendance that night had trouble viewing as well.

I've always noticed it but never cared to find out what it was and why it was there.

Those were projection screens, during daylight there was no use for them but as the sun set the screens were displayed.
