The Miz likes BFMV. Found out about it on his MySpace blog. But I don't like BFMV or any other metalcore band save for a few songs here or there.

Creed were attempting what Nickelback succeeded in: mainstream success. Nickelback are good at making radio singles.

having listened to it, it isn't bad, it is just decidely Average though. It fills its niche, The Acoustic version of The Last Fight is better than the normal one. There isn't anything that stands out on it, either in a good way or a bad way.

What I took out of this thread:

1) Shut up Doug

2) Armbar, as though I didn't adore the chap already is apparently also a fan of hardcore and screamo, making me like him even more.

3) As a fan of just about every form and subgenre of punk rock, metal, hardcore, and everything in between, I can say without a doubt that Bullet For My Valentine suck a fat massive unwashed penis. That is not even serviceable metalcore for fucks sake.

Actually I wouldn't say that I like screamo. Neither of the bands I posted are anything nearly screamo related. Every Time I Do is a metal based hardcore band but isn't really metalcore if that makes sense. Between the Buried and Me are very hard to label but they have called themselves progressive metal.

I'd probably enjoy it if I liked a bunch of cheesy rehashed melodies on top of some of the most horrendous vocals ever, spouting out some lame bollocks about going insane and blooding boiling inside my veins.

They used to be able to write somewhat decent, catchy riffs here and there. But I guess this is what happens when you share a label with the Backstreet Boys.
