Best WM Main Event of the last 5 years

Just curious as to what you all think. I'd have to say the WM XX main event (HHH vs. HBK vs. Benoit) was extraordinary, especially the ending. Yet, all of these have been great, namely Undertaker vs. Edge at WM 24. What do you all think?

im gonna have to say triple h vs john cena while im not a cena worshiper this is by far the best match of his career and you kept thinking triple h would win as it was about time for cena to lose the title

I think Benoit vs HBK vs HHH was a really good match and my favourite for the past 5 years, with a brilliant ending.

HHH vs Cena was good, because the crowd was really involved and divided, but i thought the actual match was a bit average.

2004: Chris Benoit vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels

This match has my top 2 wrestlers ever in, and this match also showed exactly why they were my Top 2. Benoit and Shawn are 2 of the best wrestlers to ever step foot inside the ring, and I don't see it changing any time soon.

The match was amazing. It shows what a WM main even should be.

In the last 5 years, I've seen only 3 Wrestlemanias. being Wrestlemania XX, 21, and 22. Out of the 3 that I've seen in the last 5 years, my favorite main event was at Wrestlemania XX between Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight Championship.

WM 20 was by far the best main event in my opinion. The only other one to get recognition is WM 24. Then it will be 23, 22, 21.

Pretty much gotta go with the flow. It's a two horse race then everything else is fighting for third.

I'm leaning with edge vs. taker. solid match all around in my opinion. Very good storytelling and just a very enjoyable match.

HHH vs. Benoit vs. Michaels: I still to this day question this triple threat match when in actuality a HHH vs. Michaels match would have done better, along with a Benoit vs. Lesnar match as the duel title matches of the evening, but this is what we got. I think that this has been diminished for some odd reason...

Then I could flip flop either Cena vs. Michaels or Triple H, because frankly I thought both matches were subpar as far as WM main events go

and a distant last place goes to Triple H vs. Batista, two words, God Awful.

There's only two matches there worth watching. 2004/2008. Depends how you feel about Benoit. Also depends if Taker & Edge end up having a better match.

Batista v Triple H : Because Batista absolutely destroyed triple h and it made him look like a monster

That match was shit. At that stage making Batista go 20 minutes in a no stipulation match was a big mistake.

also considering the fact that the companies biggest future star winning his first world title in a mid card match was pure crap. WM 21 should have been Cena's night.

this an easy choice the tripe threat was extraordinary and the sight of trips tapping to the crossface was just fantastic. I however think that this thread would have been a little better if u had included the other main event of wrestlemania XX the angle vs guerrero match for the world title. That match was insane and it is often forgotten when talking about either men's career, which is a damn shame.

Cena was always going to be the bigger star. But Batista was in a bigger match, against a bigger opponent. In a feud that was great until it got into the ring.

Why was HBK in that mach at WMXX?

It just ruined Benoit's perfect title match. It should have been Benoit vs Triple H.

Even though the triple threat was a good match, it could have been better if it was just a singles match.

Not really. If Lesnar had stayed it would have happened at some point. Goldberg was always going to go after Mania. Best to fit that in while they could.
