WWE has many ways to turn a wrestler heel or face. What do you think is the most effective long-term way to change a wrestler?

1. Repackage him and air vignettes.
2. Shockingly turn on someone.
3. Hint a turn for a while and finally it happens.

... and the list goes on. Discuss the different and best way to turn a wrestler into a babyface or heel.

The most effective way to turn would be a way that they've used before. Hint towards the turn...get people excited for it so that they're watching every week just waiting to see if he's gonna turn. After a while, it doesn't happen and it appears as if he's not going to....then BOOM. Turn the guy. And you have to make the turn make sense somehow. The most effective turns are those that have a good reason behind them. That's just my philosophy.

I think when someone shockingly turns or betrays someone- I love that. It can really make you hate a person, and it adds a good air of mystery.

I think the best example in recent memory of the "hinting towards a turn" idea before it actually happens would be Batista's face turn when he turned on Evolution. I think Batista's interest and popularity were at it's high when everybody was waiting for the turn.

eddie sucks rey sucks john cena sucks first of all. That is the gayest story line with rey. He sucks balls. And they are makeing a big deal about it.
The best way is to first have the guy with no story line. they have to have No charator like dean malenko or lance storm. they need to win a tittle then and start becoming arigant. Then to secure that (so they don't turn face like carlito or the rock) you got out the first week with a follower or a escort who will help u win each week. Cheat each week. But have someone else cheat for u. Eventualy start doing drastic things like spit on someone or kidnap someone close to someone. Then out due yourself next week. But the main key is to somehow get the fans against u so the people watching will think your a heel. Because most people can't think on there own. That is why matt hardy psicosis and greg helms arent in the main event. If a crowd hates u the world hates u. so sya for example either drags or **** are from la. to turn a guy face just show him making a cheap arouse of the crowd for saying were he is or this is the greatest city. people will just eat it up.

Best way to turn a wrestler heel is for them to Tag with the top face.. And turn on them... Or make them attack a popular Diva...

Best way to turn face... Have the wrestler hint it for awhile.. Then have them do a run in for a popular wrestler.. Or make a angle with him and a diva... Those for me are the best ways..

The best way to turn a wrestler face is to make him so popular as a heel that the crowd turn's him face ie Austin, Rock etc.

I dont think it's hard to turn someone heel if they turn on a fan favorite there their already.

the best way to turn some1 heel is to do it the way they did it with the rock and the way they will do it with cena, take about a year or 2 to build them up, put them against the best, make them the top man, the face that every1 loves (not that every1 likes cena) then all at once, turn them! Cenas heel turn will be huge, just wait and ull see what im talking about

The best heel turn ever was Austin's, IMO he was a crap heel but the turn was great and shocking, no-one was expecting that! So yea, a team-up with "the devil himself" in the WrestleMania main event when no-one is expecting it!
