Cast your vote and make your case for the best motion picture of 2013. There were some great late entries in Q4 of this year, and all of them deserve consideration.

So far my top five films of the year include: American Hustle, Out of the Furnace, Don Jon, The World's End, and Pacific Rim. And right now, American Hustle is easily topping that list.

Films I haven't seen yet: Gravity, Mud, 12 Years a Slave, Captain Phillips, All is Lost, Dallas Buyers Club, Inside Llewyn Davis and Before Midnight.

Where's Her? Philomena? Blue Jasmine?

How about an Other option? Your poll is wank.

Pretty sure I haven't seen the best movie of 2013 anyhow. I expect Her to capture my heart when I see it. If not that, then Before Midnight.

Pacific Rim, Don Jon, Out of the Furnace, Thor, and Captain Phillips have no business in this thread. If I'm being honest with myself, the same can be said of Dallas Buyer's Club, Mud, and The World's End. I dislike your taste in just about everything. That everything now extends to film.

Now go make a bitchy thread about how much I've personally disrespected you.

Yeah, I'm with Coco. You got most of the important ones, but really? Thor? Best picture of 2013? It might not even be the best superhero movie of 2013. It might not even be in the top 25 movies of 2013. This list is a poor representation of what 2013 has to offer and, as such, is invalid.

Such a poor list of films you've selected here, I'm surprised you didn't include The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug in there as it was a significant improvement over the first one and should be given a nod over Thor and Pacific Rim.

One film that I find to be in my favourites of this 2013 was The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, while it may not an Oscar-worthy film, it was surprisingly a great film that stood out for me. There are definitely better films out there in general, but for 2013, that was a really good film in a year where there was a lot of bland and average films.
