Best Interracial Tag Team Champions?

Feel free to add any teams that didn't win the titles. My personal favourite are the Acolytes/APA followed by the WGTT.. but I think the Dudley Boyz will win this one.

No debate. Best meaning most accomplishments and all around performances,its Bubba and Dvon. No team on that list has came close to the accomplishments they have achieved. They have had high profile matches all around the world and held every tag title there is to hold. Some may not personally enjoy their style of work but especially when you narrow it down to best inter-race tag teams,none can even touch what those two have done in the biz

I have to give my vote to Owen Hart and Yokozuna. The Dudleys are the greatest team up here, but Owen and Yoko always had fantastic matches against whoever they were competing against. Owen's technical and high-flying skills paired with Yokozuna's sheer power and size made for compelling matches with a bit of everything thrown in.

However, I have to give shout-outs to Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi and William Regal & Tajiri. Two of my favorite tag teams from the Ruthless Aggression Era who never really get talked about much due to the short time they teamed.

The Dudleys are certainly the most accomplished, but my vote goes to Strikeforce. (Tito Santana and Rick Martel) I feel that they were the most entertaining.

Richard Pryor and Gene Wlder...... Seriously, I think the Dudley Boyz win this one. Not only are they the most accomplished interracial tag team, but they are the most accomplished tag team period!!! They were also the most fun to watch. Also Rock and Sock Connection was entertaining and had an unusual chemistry that made them a good team. They were also tag champs for a while....also Danny Glover and Mel Gibson were a couple of... lethal weapons....(OK I know that was corny)

Best interracial tag team? Really and no Mr. Marcus and Peter North on the list.

All jokes aside I would have to go with APA. Their bruising style as a tag team was very good to watch. Didn't matter who was in the ring you knew it wasn't going to be a technical tag team show case, it was going to be physical with devastating stiff finishers. Farooq with the Dominator and Bradshaw with the Clothsline From Hell. Nothing fancy nothing way over the top extreme just old school punch you in the mouth wrestling like LOD they're one of my favorite tag teams for that reason. The best thing about them was it never got old because of the gimmick of protection because they needed beer money.
Favorite moment had to be the poker game against the Dudleys when Bubba had 6 aces.

I know the Dudleys are going to win out bet let's not forget the APA.

World's Greatest Tag Team (Haas/Benjamin) were the most talented out of that list, but they did not last for long int he promotion and even their singles push ended nowhere.

Dudley Boyz are the easy winners here due to history and experience alone.

I see a lot of people acknowledging that the Dudley Boyz should win this, but then they're voting for a different team. My guess is that people either want to be different or they're trying to read this question in a different manner so that the Dudleys don't just run away with it! But really, they should run away with it.

The Dudleys are in the conversation of best tag teams of all time, period. No other team on this list can make the same claim. The Dudleys are the only team in the history of pro wrestling to win the WWE, World, ECW, WCW, NWA, TNA, and IWGP Tag Team Championships. They are the most decorated team in wrestling history - and the only team on this list that wasn't a WWE creation (ie. VKM throwing two singles wrestlers together). To top it off, they were pretty entertaining, too.

Of course ... there are some other "interracial" tag teams that I found to be equally entertaining - though nowhere near as accomplished - that aren't mentioned in the poll:

First, The Rock 'N Sock Connection - How in the blue hell did you forget to list them?

Others include: Mysterio/Guerrero and Booker/Goldust. It should also be noted that Punk/Kofi, Flair/Batista and Mysterio/Batista also had tag team title runs. There are about a dozen more interracial tag teams...

I have to admit when I saw the title to this thread I really only thought of white/black teams. Nice list you put together. Love seeing Yoko/Owen on the list. I really enjoyed them. APA were great, I was always a Ron Simmons fan. My personal favorite would be Team Angle/WGTT. I just enjoyed thier style and was a big fan of both of them. All that being said the answer is obivously the Dudleys. Most of the reasons have already been listed above.

I am happy some caught The Rock N' Sock Connection!

Such an odd couple & they were great together. Extremely entertaining outside of the ring & suprisingly meshed very well inside the ring. Easily my favorite interracial tag team.

I also really enjoyed Owen & Yoko. They were one of those teams you kinda just went "huh?" when they put them together & after a couple matches together it was clear they just clicked.

*Also while they never won gold, I really liked the team of JoMo & R-Truth. They fit nicely, worked well as a unit, & was the only tag team of truths I enjoyed. All his other partners: Miz, Kofi, etc. since he returned as R-Truth have been VERY bad.

Dudleys get my vote in this category. Regardless of race, they are probably one of the more memorable, yet successful tag-teams in all of wrestling.

I'm a lil shocked that there were votes for Cena and Otunga. This should be replaced with Rock n Sock.

Obviously Sheiky and Nikki, but I have to put Owen & The Nations in second place.

Sheiky and Nikki had the whole country hating them and what not where as these other teams were just, well teams. Sheiky and Nikki mad you hate them but at the same time you wanted to love them. At least I did because I hated Hogan.

MVP and Matt Hardy had one of the best feuds of the past decade, that alone gets them my vote. I'm never a huge fan of rivals getting the tag titles, because of the failures (Cena/Miz, Cena/HBK) but when done right (MVP/Hardy, Rock/Jericho) it can make for great TV.

I loved all the little contests Hardy and Porter had. One of my all time favorites rivalries.

By far the best team on the list are The Dudleys. Not only are they the best Interracial tag team of all time. But they are arguably the greatest tag team ever, interracial or not.

There are so many, and High Energy is one I wanted to make mention of when I saw this thread. The best by far though is the Dudleys. The won the tag title in every promotion they were in, and are the most decorated team of all time. Strike Force is another one of my favorites to. I love them as a kid and was heartbroken when the split. If you want to say the best though it is the Dudleys.

Hate to say it but you gotta go with the Dudleys just by what they accomplished and the longevity. Now as single wrestler not very good. Well Bubba Ray Now but that’s it. I would then go with APA because they were great at a tag team and even better in singles. (I am referring to when he was Ron Simmons)

Somebody mentioned Mysterio and Guerrero. How would they be considered an interracial team? The same question goes for the user that brought up Tito Santana and Rick Martel.

I voted for Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin though. They actually "wrestled" with technical moves, something the Dudley Boyz did not do much.

To me it doesnt matter. Why? Because the dudleys are my favs and the dudleys are the best period. I know you will say im dumb but i still believe 3D could be considered the greatest ever (LOD fans eat me up). But LOD is so hyped that it is hard to get 3D over as that.

Look at it this way, 3D has had more straps, they put on more HOLY SHIT matches and its hard to say for sure but 3D was allways over with the fans, LOD was aswell with the "WHATA RUSH!" but 3D had "Devon. GET THE TABLES! and the "3--DEEE!" chant during there move.

There is not a team on here that compares to the Dudley Boyz.

Although they are both enjoying great singles runs in TNA right now, Bubba and D'Von spent the best part of 20 years as a tag team, and dominated wherever they went. The held the record for the most ECW tag-team title reigns, were multi-time tag-team champions in the WWE and were a crucial part of the greatest tag division the company had ever seen, and even in TNA as Team 3D they reached the top of the tag-team ladder, not to mention their numerous title reigns in Japan. No other team in the history of the business has come close to the number of title reigns achieved by the Dudley Boyz.

They have one of the best finishers of all time in the 3D, that move has put away pretty much every tag-team wrestler of note in the last 2 decades, they are 2 of the best at getting heat I have ever seen when wrestling as heels, and their association with tables is one of the most loved gimmicks in the business. "D'Von....get the tables!" is well known by every wrestling fan, and they were a part of some of the best tag-team matches I have ever seen in the Triangle Ladder Match with Edge/Christian and The Hardyz, and again with the same teams in the first ever TLC matches.

The Dudleys are arguably the greatest tag-team of all time.
