:) Best Easter Eggs/Hacks (And How To Get Them)

Spidey Revivey

Porn is okay here long as it ain't dudes.
I love it when the makers of said video game throws in a hidden present for us gamers. Sometimes it's really discreet, and other times it could take YEARS to find them. Even the most popular games of all time is sure to have some kind of hidden room, item, etc that the average person wouldn't even think to find.

This thread is for you nostalgic at heart; you finders of questionable things that would make any fanboy weep. We have the answers, and they never thought to ask the questions. Observe:

Yes, I loved Pokemon. Still do to some extent. And I am proud of my childhood addiction. Now most gamers back in the 90s never realized you could find Mew in the game. Before most even had the luxury of owning a computer and being aware of the internet a friend of mine showed me how to get this elusive bastard.

How to find Mew on Pokemon Red,Blue,Yellow:

1. Do not fight the gambler facing the house in between Lavender Town and Saffron City. Go to the door of the house and save your game. (You cannot save your game once you have started this or else it will undo the glitch that will give you Mew.

2. Step towards the gambler and immediatly press start. If done correctly you will bring up the start menu before the gambler sees you. Go to your flying pokemon and fly to Cerulean City.

3. The gambler will then see you but you will fly away. (Your Start, A, and B buttons will not work during this point.) Walk up Nugget Bridge and then go to the 5th trainer after Nugget Bridge. (He will be facing up.) He is a youngster with a slowpoke. Defeat his slowpoke, and then your Start, A, and B buttons will function again

4. Fly back to Lavender Town and walk towards Saffron City. Your menu should pop up by itself. Hit B to exit it, and then you will enter a battle with a Mew, where you can try to capture it.

Now I realize how old this hack is to most gamers. But you also must realize how rare it was to find these kinds of things out without internet. I implore you guys to post an even better glitch/hack/Easter Egg.

I stumbled across one today by accident.

DBZ Buu's Fury: 255 Senzu Beans

Now anyone who has seen Dragonball Z knows that a senzu bean can cure both health and energy instantly. In the GBA games, it's a vital item to have. However, it can usually be very annoying to obtain. Well, not anymore. In fact, the way you do this is so simple. When in the World Tournament Saga, Videl will be knocked out by Spopovich. As Gohan, you promise her that you will get her a senzu bean so that she feels better quickly. As Gohan is leaving, Goku tells him that he'll get the senzu bean. So you go to Korin's Tower which is accessible by going to Kami/Dende's Lookout. When you get to Korin's Tower, talk to Yajirobe and he'll give you a senzu bean. Now head back to Kami/Dende's Lookout. Now this next part is very important...

Eat The Senzu Bean!

Yup, eat the bean while you're still on The Lookout. Once you do that, head back to the World Tournament, and cutscenes will take over. It will show Gohan giving Videl the bean even though Goku had already eaten it. After the cutscenes are over, look in your inventory. You will have 255 Senzu Beans which is more than enough to last you the whole game.

I really like the one in Metroid Fusion. Which I just learned of a few weeks ago. When you defeat Nightmare and have to unlock the red hatches, you have to use the Data Room and obtain the Diffusion Missiles to get out. Not really. It takes mad Shinespark skills or a well aimed Ice Missile, but once you do break this sequence, you see the game break the fourth wall:

There's also Oddjob's hat in 007: Nightfire. I don't know if it counts as an easter egg, but it's a very nice homage to the movies.

I remember this cheat. This made the game way easy.

Now these three were listed as Easter Eggs in Jak 3(and you had to unlock them)and i have to admit it was fun unlocking Unlimited Ammo,Unlimited Dark Jak and Unlimited Light Jak and starting Hero Mode.Hero mode is unlocked when you beat the game then start over, but keep all your upgrades and easter eggs.

The thread starter did Pokemon, I got another glitch/EasterEgg from it that some people might not have known about. It's not necessarily as GOOD as the thread starter's, but it's just as strange. It involves Missing Number, but it's NOT how to find him, it's something very weird that happens later on.

Frist you had to get the guy who teaches you how to catch pokemon to show you again then immediately fly to Cinnabar Island and start surfing at the edge of town. You would then encounter Missing Number occasionally. Catch Missing Number. It won't glitch the game unless you enter a battle with him at the front. Use a Rare Candy to level him up.

Missing Number will then evolve into.... THIS.

No joke. It doesn't end there. He will also know Sky Attack. Free of glitches, that pokemon can be used normally for the rest of the game without glitching it in any way. It would even work fine on Pokemon Stadium, I tested it when my pokemon got to use Sky Attack on my friend's unsuspecting Machamp, killing it in one hit. He was not happy, LOL! This is one of my favorite easter eggs because it's SO weird and random. Few people know about it.

EDIT: Although the best of all time has to be this little oddity from Zelda: Link to the Past!
