Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
Yes, it's true. Of the 4 people that grabbed the cases, he was the one that grabbed the "wrong" case. He was a jobber for a while, so it shouldn't be a surprise, but why would they let him go, instead of Rob Terry?

I doubt he'll be back with a mask and new gimmick, so I'm thinking we need to wait for his WWE re-arrival. He could have at least kept jobbing out, and since the division is so thin with heels, he could've done more with the case than Rob will...

well that kinda sucks, although he wasnt doing anything better than being equal bottom of world elite with kiyoshi. Im not sure wether he will go to WWE I think he will remain a Free Agent for a while and then re-enter TNA, thats just my opinion though

I was kind of surprised by that ending. I thought that Deaner was the sure shot to be gone from TNA. I don't care for Terry, but he definitely has the look. I don't count on seeing Daivari back to WWE. Maybe he will work for ROH or overseas, but really what use is he to WWE? If there was a Cruiserweight title then him reappearing in WWE wouldn't be a shock. Unless Muhammad Hassan comes back soon I really hope never to see Daivari again. Maybe it was his terrorist character that held him down.

As surprised as I am by the "swerve" here, at the same time all things considered with TNA's relationship (or is that reliance?) on the internet community, this isn't nearly as shocking to me now as it was when it initially took place, though I did get a sense it was coming reading the body language of Bashir, who didn't seem excited at all as he probably would have had he known he was getting the X-Division title shot.

I don't doubt he grew tired of jobbing out in the lower-mid card as a lacky for Eric Young and the rest of the X-Division and tag division, but like NSL I wish he had stuck around to gain the X-Division title shot because it could have acted as a bit of a resurgence for him to become the top heel in the division again. Oh well.

Reports out of TNA are that he was indeed saying his goodbyes, so I doubt he'll be re-packaged in any way moving forward. Seems as though his TNA debut is over at this point.

Wow.... totally did not see that coming. I would rather it have been Deaner that got fired.... but I'm actually glad that Sheik is gone because I couldn't stand his character and he wasn't that great in the ring either. I doubt that he will be back, and if that's the case then I'm not going to miss him at all because I never liked him.

This guy is pretty talented in the ring, and great on the mic, so he was an untapped asset in TNA for a while. It's a shame the path his career has taken. From the start in the WWE, he and Muhammed Hussein were just an incredibly promising duo. I still wish Hussein could have found a way to overcome the terrorist gimmick WWE strapped him with to remain active in the sport. It was a genuine loss when he retired, and now Daivari is on his way out too, it seems.

Leave it to TNA, who is in dire need of heels with heat, to let go of what could have been one of their most promising untapped wrestlers.

Seriously, who does a better job on the mic and in the ring? Bashir or Eric Young????

Young is annoying, but Bashir, come on guys, the dude brought in some old school heel heat that makes you want to see him get beat up, and makes you even angrier when he gets a win.

So once again, let's all bask in the glory of TNA who continues to keep pushing the wrong guys. I want to like TNA, I really do, but come on, enough is enough!!!

I hope they find an angle to bring him back in and not let him go, it would be a shame and a waste.

At the very worst Bashir could have been a very good manager. The type who can legitimately interfere in matches without looking like an absolute fool.

I can't believe that is now two companies that have wasted his talent.

Though there were rumors months ago that he was headed back to the WWE. I hope that is true and that they use him as a heel manager. Would be interesting to see him work with someone like Swagger (the All-American American with the anti-American) who has the inring ability but can't go on the mic at the level that they'd want.

Well if he really is gone, that's a shame. He had a good debut and even an X-Division title run when he showed up, despite spouting the same crap he had in WWE. Shows the kind of talent he had for drawing heel heat.

I would have thought, as an earlier poster mentioned, that he would grab the X Division case, and be renewed and primed for a run as the top heel in the division again. He definitely had all the tools and I was certain he was tired of jobbing all the time. Could have worked out pretty well for him.

What the fuck are you talking about? Pushing the wrong guys? Lets take a look at who's being pushed right now; AJ Styles is world champion. Daniels and Joe are the two major contenders for the world title and have both been in excellent matches against AJ lately. Desmond Wolfe is feuding with Angle and is coming off as a legit young competitor. MCMG and the British Invasion are the current top contenders and champions of the tag division, respectivley. Lashely is feuding with Steiner and so far they've put on two really good matches. Morgan, Hernandez, Suicide and Dinero are involved in a feud with three veteran hardcore wrestlers and their protege so count that 5 young guys getting a push to the upper midcard. So yeah please elaborate on how firing a jobber who had some good in ring skill and almost nothing else is damaging to their company. Daivari didn't get over, he's gone and the impact it will have is non-existent.

out of everyone in the match, it was bashir who got fired, and big fucking Rob Terry Has the X division title, and deaner the former King of the knockouts. FUCK TNA CREATIVE. as I stated in my other post, TNA are rushing most things until hogan save everyone. god. I loved bashir, he was good on the mic, he had talent and he was part of WE from the start and done something there, FFS what has Terry done, managed BI, and then got sent to the back. I am just disappointed in this, thoroughly disappointed

Bashir was a classic talker and had good charisma, but he definitly brought down the TNA product with his WWE in ring style. The crowd wasnt very responsive during his matches and just devalued the X division. I hope him the best.

I have a feeling that Deaner was originally suppose to get the fired briefcase, but than (according to story's on websites) Bashir either asked for his release or was going to be let go, so it got changed to Bashir getting the fired case.

It's the only explanation for having Deaner in this match

Well if any talent is legitmately leaving then it only makes sense for them to grab the briefcase with the pink slip seeing as they also have to maintain kayfabe. Booker T and Angelina Love's departures were handled badly in kayfabe so allowing Bashir to leave in a realistic kayfabe manner helps to retain continuity in storylines.

If he wasn't leaving you would think Rob Terry or Cody Deaner would have got the pink slip but i'm sad to see a great charachter like Bashir's leave TNA.

I'm sad to see Bashir go. He's a talented individual that could be the filler in large X Division matches. I've always placed Bashir with TNA because he was the X division champ when I got into TNA.

I'm hoping we see Bashir in WWE soon because he has talent. He could even come in as a fake talent initiative. I would love to see a WWE veteran kayfabe use the Talent Initiative to get into the company.

It's not like TNA actually fired the guy though. Sheik asked for his release, which is weird because I read he just signed a new deal with TNA a few months ago. Maybe he got lost in the shuffle, and was tired of not being used. It's a shame because he was a great X Division champion earlier this year. He cut a great promo earlier this year too.

He could be used in WWE if they will actually use him. He will probably be a bigger jobber in WWE then he ever was in TNA. I really wished that Deaner or Terry would of been the ones fired. I don't see Deaner involved with the company on a large scale anyways though. Rob Terry is a different story altogether.

I hope where ever Bashir goes, that he is used accordingly.

Those reports are conflicting. One source reported that he asked for his release, while many others say he was legitimately let go.

I don't blame him if he did in fact ask for his release though. He was being written heavily into mediocrity, and going nowhere fast in the World Elite.

Come to think of it, he could have been one of the "five" who asked for theirs a few months ago (along with Homicide and Kaz).

Either way, the quotes in the thread title should be removed, IMO, because he was legitimately let go. There's no question of that, as he won't be returning to the company in any facet anytime soon.

This is a bit of a disappointment. It's a real shame too, because he was great as the X Division champion, with all those anti-America promos. He definitely deserved the X title shot over the fired case. It definitely should have been Deaner or Terry who got the " Fired " case.

While I'm kind of surprised Bashir got the boot instead of Terry, I'm not all that shocked about it either. Bashir, like many other memebers in WE, have been fading away into the land of the "unnoticed" for the past couple of months. I remember a while back Bashir cut this anti-american promo that was just awesome, but he really hasn't done that much ever since. I think Bashir was more interesting, and better off on his own. Ever since join WE, he just kind of faded away.

I can't believe anyone cares about Bashir. I am so so tired of anti-american evil muslim characters and I was very happy to hear him being let go. This was a Jarrett gimmick playing into that old, tired concept. If Bashir was a muslim babyface, then Id be interested, but as an evil muslim complaining about how he has been mistreated, no thanks.

Deaner, Terry and Diavari all deserve to be released. All boring characters with little to offer.

Meh, I don't really care. He was decent when he first signed with TNA, but he hasn't really done anything at all for the better part of a year. The only thing I remember him doing is some promo when the WE was created. I won't miss him at all. TNA has more than enough guys already. Deaner would've been a better option, but if Bashir is leaving, might as well give him the pink slip.

If it would've been Terry, we'd have a riot on our hands. From me.

Was never a big fan of this guy.Im happy he was fired and just over "WE".His whole anti American thing is stupid,Dose every guy from another country have to hate USA,why cant they hate TURKEY,ENGLAND,AUSTRALIA(THE BEST).

So im very pleased hes GONE!

HAY,HAY,HAY GOOD BYE,NA NA NA NA NA....ECT

THATS JUST ME!
