Bart Gunn's Son Accidentally Shoots Himself

Y 2 Jake

Thanks to Patricia Mclamb for the following news:

Michael Polchlopek III, 19, was shot once in the head when Cody Grooms, 18, was cleaning a .22 caliber rifle and the gun accidentally discharged, said Melbourne Police Cmdr. Ron Bell. Polchlopek was shot at a home in the 1500 block of Lime Drive in Melbourne, near the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Croton Road.

This is probably coming to a TNA storyline soon. This would be a good way to renew the push of Kip James. I'm only half joking.

I read the title as, "Bart Gunn's Son Accidentally Shoots ON Himself"

Like, he doesn't like the way his character is going, but I didn't recognize the name Bart Gunn (I don't watch TNA).

For some reason the title made me chuckle. Am I a bad person?

No, I have to admit when I saw that I laughed, then felt bad for doing it. It's like the joke:

"What's worse than letting MJ babysit your kids?"

"Sending them on holiday with the McCanns".

You laugh at the joke, then feel bad (unless you're Jake). Same thing here really.

Bart Gunn never wrestled in TNA to my knowledge. He was one half of the Smoking Gunns with Billy Gunn back in the mid 90's. He ended up winning the Brawl For All Tournament (hurting Steve Williams in the process, who was set to recieve a monster push). After winning the tournament, he lost a shoot fight with Butterbean in a short bout at a past Wrestlemania (regretably can't remember which, though I do know it was in the neighborhood of about 10 years ago). After his loss, he faded from the WWE and spent the rest of his career wrestling successfully in Japan.

I'm deeply sorry to hear of his son passing away. While I'm personally a critic of gun use (especially in the hands of children and young adults), now it not the time to preach. I think we all should send positive thoughts Bart Gunn's way, as it's terrible for anyone to lose a loved one over the holidays.

Maybe I'm just silly, but I didn't read anywhere in there where it said the kid died?

And Bart Gunn did compete for a few matches in TNA. I believe he was actually a part of the S.E.X storyline with Vince Russo.

I think he did work a few matches in TNA against Perry Saturn. Of course he used his real name and not Bart Gunn.
