Banned finishers that looked awesome...

Which finishing maneuvers of wrestling's past looked absolutely awesome, but were dangerous as hell to perform and banned for obvious reasons?

My pick...the steiner screwdriver, the stalling suplex into a piledriver looked absolutely brutal, and could probably kill someone, thus it was banned.

What move did you love to watch performed, but would cringe every time thinking the receiver wouldn't get up?

Uhhh let's see we have the pile driver. I always loved this move and every variation of it. Plus all of these cruiserweight moves such as the shooting star press and the 450. Plus, the crippler crossface was banned for a while. I don't know if it still is, but it's one of my all time favorites.

I always liked the brainbuster. It was like suplex but rather than falling back, the opponent is supposed to look like he was driven straight down on the top of his head. Obviously a good thing it was banned as it's very risky for the head and neck, but when executed well, it looks devastating. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nV8eBu-Q37Y

I agree on the Vertebreaker. Not sure why it was banned but I've always thought it was a really good finisher. I use it on all WWE games.

That pedigree was done wrong because of the person receiving it.

The match was HHH vs Marty Garner. Garner thought that Triple H was going for an underhook suplex, which is why he jumped like that.

Not that it's banned anymore but I've always been a fan of the Shooting Star Press. If memory serves me correctly, Evan Bourne had to prove he could land one safely 5 times in a row before WWE let him use it as a finisher.

Yeah, I remember why it got banned. Billy Kidman randomly started messing it up and kneed Chavo in the temple I believe.
