You'll never guess who was signed to play Jason Voorhees in the upcoming film. Go on, try and guess before scrolling down....

Got it? I doubt it, but scroll down for the unbelievable answer.....

That's right. The most awkward lookin' motherfucker in history, Tim Sylivia. Can you believe that shit? I can't. The biggest joke in MMA is set to play one of the most bad ass characters in cinema history. Unbelievable.

you think thats shocking for the new A-Team film for the par of MR T thier getting

wait for it

The Game (no not hhh, the rapper)

...You're fucking shitting me?

Awesome. Seeing as it's Jason, he's masked, and the actor is usually irrelevant, this should be cool. Where'd you hear this, source?

False. Right now another MMA fighter, Rampage Jackson, is up for that role.

On another forum, but if you Google Tim Sylvia, you'll see this news story:

In his last fight, big Tim Sylvia showed up as a 315-pound beast. When talking about who should play the movie legend Jason, Tim Sylvia is a perfect choice for the horror film mask killer. It has been confirmed that Tim Sylvia will play the one and only Jason Voorhees in the latest installment of Friday the 13th.

Tim is scheduled to fight in three weeks on September 18 at Adrenaline MMA 4 in Iowa. Friday the 13th is being filmed in the Boston area. Sylvia fight fans are hoping that training for the fight against Jason Riley is taking priority over filming. Sylvia is working with Boston-based trainer Mark DellaGrotte.

The once two-time champ, who left the UFC in early 2008 after mutually agreeing with the organization to end his contract, has lost three straight fights, which included an embarrassing nine-second knockout loss to 48-year-old boxer Ray Mercer in June.

Though Sylvia held the heavyweight title during his time with the UFC, Dana White has said in the past that the UFC has no interest in resigning Sylvia.

In other MMA fighters/entertainment news, Captain American himself Randy Couture is coming to a theater near you as one of The Expendables. And, though most MMA fans will say they wont tune in, (but they will) there is Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell on the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

Heard about this a few days ago. Honestly he's perfect for the role. No talking needed, shave his head and he looks like Jason without a mask, and although moves awkward, Jason isn't exactly known for running around. Great cost efficient choice in casting Tim Sylvia.

i also think its a good choice i wouldn't want Tim Sylvia running at me (or steadily walking) and they should get some good advertising by the ufc.

Tim Sylvia is not with the UFC anymore, so they would not advertise the movie. The UFC wants nothing to do with Sylvia.

It hasn't been confirmed yet, so I won't believe this until I see a better source than that Fighters.com article, especially since the article erroneously says that the F13 sequel has already started filming, which it hasn't. We haven't even heard of a cast or director for the film yet, let alone has it started filming yet. Not exactly reliable journalism there.

Kinda reminds you of the WWE.com articles, right?
