As someone who just signed up (I had been trolling the forums as a guest for awhile now ), I'm curious to know how many posts it takes to be eligible to vote. I've heard elsewhere its at least 10, but I'm still not able to post.

It is normally 10 but sometimes it will take a little while for the forum to catch up to you. Give it a couple of days and you should be right as rain.
