Ask RVDGurl

You have 3 months left to live, what do you do?

Oh no wait. I know the answer to that as well. Woman, you have been reading too many of my posts.

Forgive me if its already been asked, or stated.. but RVDGurl, these are my 2 questions to you.

1. How did you come to be known as 'extreme'? For example, everyone claims you're extreme & hardcore, & while I get the loyal E.C.W. fan base you carry.. & the R.V.D. name attachment.. is there anything else that can be added to how it came to be known?

That's pretty much it. I am a diehard ECW fan and I love hardcore wrestling. Therefore I have embraced the nickname Miss Extreme

2. What got you into wrestling? Not intentionally trying to sound sexist, but not many females love wrestling, & in my opinion I'd say half of those that do, merely love it for the "big sweaty men." Yet you show a true passion for the business, & a great understanding of everything involved. Please enlighten me on how this came to be.

My uncle was a huge wrestling fan and I was very close to him when I was little. I remember watching AWA and NWA on tv with him when I was 5 or 6 so it's something I grew up with. The WWF used to run shows at Hershey once a month and I would guess from the time I was 8 until I was 12, we hit every show there!

I remember my first live wrestling event. It was more or less an indy group, with the Main Event being the top guy (can't remember him) of their group facing W.C.W.'s Lenny Lane. Could you actually see me getting pumped & excited to see Lenny Lane, since it was my first live event.

I feel like such a dork for that now, especially since I've been to Raw's, Smackdown, & even No Mercy 2001. In retrospect, that indy live event holds memories of being my first, but I'll never outlive the stupidity I had that night, when my friends & I yelled out move after move, in hopes of seeing them do it. (Lenny Lane did the People's Elbow for us, only with a middle finger & a leg drop -- apparently he felt he couldn't perform an elbow drop lol)

My next group of questions are as follows.

1. What do you remember from your first live event? What was your overall reaction, did you meet anyone famous?

2. What has been the biggest event you've been to? Give detail on everything, as much as you can, anyways.

I find this fascinating. Indy shows are by far the best. I'd rather be at an indy show with 50 people than have front row seats to Wrestlemania. (Yes, I'm serious)

This is terrible, but I can't remember my first show. I was probably 8, so that was 20 years ago. I saw about 50 shows in a 4 year period- they all run together. I do remember for my 12th birthday, we went to a show and I dressed up like the Undertaker. Hat, tie, gloves and all. lol.
I didn't get to meet any of the wrestlers when I was younger. In fact, the first time I actually got to meet a wrestler was last year.

2. What has been the biggest event you've been to? Give detail on everything, as much as you can, anyways.

I guess WWE events would be considered the biggest by most standards.
I was at Survivor Series just last year. We had 8th row seats, so they were pretty good. During RVD's entrance I was standing on my chair, wearing my EC F'N W Tshirt, waiving my RVD foam hands and he pointed to me. It was cool. He pointed to me for a good 10 seconds, smiled and said "there's a real ECW fan". That rocked.
I was also at the draft back in June. I guess that was kind of a big deal since Vince blew himself up in the limo. That was a good night. I had 2nd row seats, right behind Taz & Joey's announce table. I had a sign that said "Paul Heyman is God" that made it onto tv about 30 seconds before it was confiscated and ripped up by security.

Very interesting. I'll have to check my tape collection to try & see you. I've never seen the picture that everyone is yammering about. Not unintentionally trying to downgrade you.. lol But I do admit, I'm very interested to see what all the fuss is about.

I've never seen the picture that everyone is yammering about! I have never posted a pic of myself on here so I think someone stole one from my myspace, or someone is just talking shit. lol. Anyway, you can see my Paul Heyman sign near the start of the show. It's blue and it will be on the right of the screen. However, you will not see me!

I was on the May 12th ECW/SD show that was held in Baltimore. The camera guy came right up to me and got a close up. I'm such a nerd. I was holding my "Mrs. Kennedy" sign. lol. Yep. I got a good 4 or 5 seconds of TV time that night.

Sorry if this has been asked but what are your TOP 5 ROB VAN DAM moments of all time?

Okay, here are some more "personal" questions. If you aren't answering personal questions, by all means its understandable & fine.. but if you are.. then by all means..

1. Are you a heartbreaker, or broken hearted? Basically, do you break hearts, or get yours broken? Detail is nice.

2. Best & Worst relationship? Assuming you've had more than one, why were they what they were?

Why do you hate RVD so much?

Seriously though....

Would you be up for another Jerry Lynn/RVD feud or is that played out in your mind?

I think there were some great moments between the two in ECW and those matches really made me respect both of those guys.

THis is a difficult question. But I'll do my best. Here is my list for today:

5. - Back in ECW, RVD dressed up as Sabu and interferes in a match (can't remember which one right now). He has his hair down in this spot. Honestly, it's not a relevant wrestling moment- but to this day, it's the only time I've ever seen in with his hair down.

4. - RVD v. Jerry Lynn fued. Every match was great.

3. - RVD/Sabu v. The Eliminators fued. IMO the greatest tag team matches ever.

2. - RVD beats John Cena to win the WWE championship at ONS.

1. - RVD wins the ECW TV title and goes on to have a 2 year reign.

Heartbreaker. I'm not proud of it, but I have embraced what I am. I don't intentionally set out to do it, it just always inevitably happens. I've never had my heart broken so I am still waiting to have that first heartbreak. I think I need it before I can truly settle down.

2. Best & Worst relationship? Assuming you've had more than one, why were they what they were?

Best - I was engaged at one point to a guy named Derrick. He is one of the most wonderful persons I have ever met. He is perfect for me, but for whatever reason, I just can't do it. I have this problem (and I know I do it) where I look for something wrong with the guys I date so I have an excuse to get out of the relationship. It's weird.

Worst - I dated a guy name Jason for 3 years. He was crazy! Ya know, completely insecure, possessive- scary. I guess I stuck it out that long because I thought it would be neat to "fix" him. When I finally ended it, he didn't take it so well. One night I had a friend drive me home from the bar and Jason jumped out of my bushes and tried to attack my friend (who was male). Yep. Crazy. Lots of other little things with this one, the bush thing is just the best example of why he was the worst.

I think that the RVD v/ Lynn fued was one of the best in the history of the sport. They brought out the best in each other. I would like to see them get together a few more times, preferably on the indy curcuit somewhere. Although both guys are much older now, I still think they could put on one hell of a show.
Believe me, if it ever happens again, I will be there!

Ok I don't think I've asked this one before so I'll ask it now

What turned you onto Metal, in other words why do you like it, and how did you become a fan?, most women arn't real big into metal music so it's one of things that just makes me curious

another question, What is your favorite Pantera song, and why?

Don't worry, I'm not a dirty ho yet. Very clean actually. If I win $300 million dollars and only have 3 months to live, I will come see you before I hit up the Top 10. :)

I like RVD. But not enough to have his sloppy seconds. Make sure he wears a condom. OVER THE TESTICLES.

My dad was a stoner hippie as a young teenager in the 70's and he loved rock music. I grew up listening to the Beatles, Doors, Zepplin, Sabbath, etc. And glam metal was main stream back in the 80's when I was growing up. I guess it just stuck with me.

another question, What is your favorite Pantera song, and why?

This may be impossible to anwer. I have never heard a Pantera song that I didn't like. I will tell you that before every softball game in college, I listened to Mouth For War, Revolution is My Name and Primal Concrete Sledge.
My favorite Pantera song changes all the time, but for right now I will go with Suicide Note. Love the acoustic one. Not the typical Pantera style, so all of their acoustic songs are really appealing to me.

1. What is your ideal match for a World Title match (any world title whether it be old ECW, WWF (not E), or anything) between Rob Van Dam and Sabu?

2. What was your favorite Wrestlemania Moment? (sorry if this has been asked, but if you dont have one, what is your favorite ECW (old not new crappy) moment?

In a perfect world Sabu and RVD would have faced each other for the ECW championship back in '97. Since the ideal match would take place in ECW, it's already anything goes. I would love to see best out of 3 falls. Of course, RVD would win 2-1. (I love Sabu, so I gotta give him a pinfall).

2. What was your favorite Wrestlemania Moment? (sorry if this has been asked, but if you dont have one, what is your favorite ECW (old not new crappy) moment?

My favorite Wrestlemania moment. Hmmmm. I don't get too excited over the WWE in general and Wrestlemania's are generally disappointing to me. But I have an odd choice for my favorite moment- The Ultimate Warrior wins the title from Hogan at WM6. Yep. That's gotta be it. I was like 12 and a huge fan of the Warrior. I remember calling the 900 number that night to see who won because my cable company didn't even carry PPV yet.

As far as my favorite ECW moment. I can't begin to pick one. Just about every moment in the 7 years of greatness was significant in one way or another.
