World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Ashley Massaro as of July 09, 2008. WWE wishes Ashley the best in all future endeavors.

I guess all the rumours are true, Ashley has been released, after posing in Playboy, being a dominant threat in boring the WWE audience, and leaving WWE for Survivor, where she was voted off second

I don't know if I'm "Peanut Butter Jelly Time Dancing Banana" happy about this, but I can see why one would be.

Honestly, I really don't care. Ashley was rarely EVER on TV. I think her biggest push was "Hey look, I got naked! Yay me!" While she was supposed to be in Mickie's place now (allegedly), I can't see Ash havin' herself a lengthy title run. I don't remember any of her in-ring work, actually. Did she wrestle? Or just shake her ass?

She could have been one of the more interesting Divas (interesting meaning almost different, seeing as how she was "punk"), but oh well.

I think I'd only really be disappointed if Mickie/Kelly/Maria left. I woulda thrown Torrie in there, but... yeah. I realize none of them are talented ring-wise, but they're still nice to look at. (Mickie and Kelly appear to be attempting to improve).

Best luck to Ashley is the daughter story was true.

I think you are mistaken, Ashley didn't have an ass to shake, she was basically a skeleton with big boobs remember
 
Ashley was a good looking chick (minus the whole piercings and whatnot), but I could care less. She wasn't entertaining in the ring whatsoever.

But Raw's really screwed now, aren't they? Mickie and Melina are very skilled, but Melina is out for 5 months apparently. Katie Lea, Beth, Jillian...but they're all heels. Looks like Kelly Kelly is about to get pushed as the #2 face in the women's championship division. Ouch.

or until Candice comes back, I doubt Jillian would ever be pushed to get the belt

lets see... she can't wrestle but she's pretty and therefore marketable, and she has no blemishes on her record with the company. I'd expect Maria to be around for awhile, until someone younger and prettier comes around to replace her, which probably won't be for a while

a better question would be How long does victoria have left? she's probably the next diva to go
 
I for won't miss Ashley, yeah she got naked, shook her ass but that's all she did, no solid ring work from her at all she certainly was no Trish Stratus.

Does anyone think that Kelly Kelly being moved to Raw was a precursor to Ashley being released as if they knew they'd do it beforehand

Maria is the new Torrie Wilson. IE, she's attractive, she's popular with the fans for some reason, and she sucks in the ring. She'll be a babyface forever as she doesn't have the personality to pull a heel turn, and no matter what, she'll be around until her looks go or she injures herself, since she probably won't be the type to piss someone off backstage or get caught with drugs or something.

I'd say the crosshairs have now shifted to Lena Yada and Eve Torres. Both of them haven't been used for anything but botched interview segments and unless they start getting into the ring soon (and we all know they'll suck lol) then I wouldn't be surprised if we saw both of them being wished "the best in their future endeavors."
 
does any1 even know any of her moves? she shouldn't have even won that diva search in what ever year it was...i thought that she couldn't pull off the "punk rock chick" anyways. she wont be missed by me thats for sure...
 
She was basically an attractive version of Arvil Lavigne with her whole 'Skater Punk Chick' image, which hasnt been cool for a long long time. I will miss her rack, but Taryn's will make do for now. She wont be missed.
