WZCW's Mr Excitement
We begin Ascension with a deafening boo from the audience who are livid that the man who is considered the King of WZCW John Constantine is standing in the center of the ring waiting patiently as the crowd continues their negative reaction. Cooper and Bowen, the two loyal members of the Empire are on the outside trying their best to calm down the audience although their style is very aggressive whilst shouting insults. It is almost like chaos as the front row members are getting quite rowdy.

Connor: Can someone please get these guys out of here! Constantine has taken center stage for fifteen minutes already addressing the crowd and he still isn't finished.

Cohen: A King can take however long he wants to address his people: it's one of the perks.

Connor: We can't have a 2 hour show of Constantine talking... this isn't the Senate.

When the audience begins to die down, Constantine holds the microphone back up to his mouth.

Constantine: And as your King, I will ride home on the purest of stallions with blood, sweat and tears drenched upon this sacred body and return in victory, holding the most prized crown a King can ever own... the World Heavyweight Championship!

The crowd increases the volume of boos with one member wanting to jump the barricade because of Cooper's taunting. Security pulls him back as Cooper tells him off.

Constantine: The inaugural celebration will be historic and as your merciful and gracious King, I will be hosting the celebration alongside my peasants and showered in the glory that I deserve... in front of my Empire!

Constantine smiles towards the crowd as they boo, followed by a taunt to tell them to bow down to the King. Cooper and Bowen re-inforce that idea until...

The crowd bursts into adulation and cheers as they are glad that the World Heavyweight Champion has decided to come out and interrupt the King. He walks out onto the stage with the championship around his shoulder with a microphone in hand. The Empire are angered by Show's presence.

Cohen: This man has absolutely no respect for his King.

Connor: I'm just glad that someone has finally stopped the longest speech a crowd has ever had to endure. The viewers at home should have be happy we started mid-way.

As the music dies down, Show raises the mic.

Showtime: First things first: I sincerely apologise King Constantine for coming out here and interrupting you...

The crowd begins to boo at that remark, becoming very confused. Constantine actually looks happy to hear this, forming a smile.

Showtime: ... I should have come out here much sooner because man you are BORRRR-RING!

And just like that, Constantine's smile fades and the crowd once again cheers.

Showtime: It doesn't matter who you like to pretend to be and play dress-up as, you will always be the same guy who talks too much and doesn't walk enough. I think its time that we stop the talking and start the walking because, I honestly can't wait to face you later tonight in that 6 man tag team match... why not start it right now?

The crowd cheers loudly as Showtime drops the microphone and lays the title down, walking down the ramp.

Connor: Here we go!

Cohen: That's treason! Take him to the gallows!

However, before Showtime can get anywhere, Cooper and Bowen stand between him and the ring where Constantine stands tall with a smile on his face. Show eyes off both men with Cooper and Bowen not backing down.

Constantine: If you want me, you're going to have to get through my Empire first!

At that moment, the two go to attack but Showtime defends himself for a while, throwing punches and kicks towards Cooper and Bowen who struggle but eventually, the numbers game is too much and they attack Showtime. The crowd boo's at this display until we see Barbosa and SHIT come out from the audience, jumping the railing to come to the aid of Showtime, taking care of Bowen and Cooper. The four men brawl until Showtime recovers, helping his new-found allies take down the men of the Empire. Eventually, Bowen and Cooper fall just like Showtime and this leaves Constantine on his own in the ring. Barbosa and SHIT circle the ring as Constantine doesn't know what to do. They slide into the ring at opposite ends but Constantine is smart enough to escape the mix and gets out of the ring. He walks backwards up the ramp but forgets about the World Champion, eventually bumping into him as Barbosa and SHIT trap him from every side.

Connor: Uh oh... the King is in trouble.

Constantine shakes his head and slowly turns around to reveal that Show is there with a huge smile on his face. The crowd cheers the three men on to attack their King who tries pleading with them but it is no avail as Show goes for a strike... but Constantine ducks and goes behind Show. Constantine scrambles up the ramp and as soon as Show goes after him, a barrage of security comes out to separate the World champion and his challenger. At this point, Bowen and Cooper have since recovered and decide to take this opportunity to jump both Barbosa and SHIT from behind to attack them. Show tries going to their aid but is still held back by security... where more personnel guarding the front row are forced to jump over the barricades and break up the other four men before anything else happens. The crowd boos the restrains as Vance Bateman walks out looking like he is going to explode.

Cohen: He doesn't look too happy, does he CC?

Bateman: If I see any of you guys coming near each other again tonight apart from our scheduled main event, I will fire you on the SPOT! I don't care who you are: champion or King, you are not safe from me. Anyway, the two of you will have your chance against each other at All or Nothing... speaking of which, there is the little matter of the four of you rebels back there.

Bateman points to Cooper, Bowen, Barbosa and SHIT who are listening intently to him.

Bateman: You guys have been running around ambushing each other and making this championship match a much more messier situation than it already is. If you guys want to make things messy, do so between the four of you and you will do so at All or Nothing with Barbosa and SHIT taking on Alex Bowen and Justin Cooper.

The crowd cheers with all four competitors smiling or a blank stare in the case of SHIT who has no visible emotions.

Connor: A huge match has been added to the All or Nothing card!

Cohen: If it is under properly sanctioned rules, things are indeed going to get messy quickly.

Bateman: Now... Security! Get these men the hell away from my sight before I think twice about firing them on the spot.

Vance marches into the back dropping the microphone as security does their best to guide each party back to the locker room.

Connor: What a way to kick off the show... let's officially start this thing!

As Catherine says this, we transition to the titantron to view the Ascension opening video.

Everyone one and everything has settled down after the events that occurred at the start of the show. Selena Anderson stands firmly in the ring, ready to announce the first match.

Anderson: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Anderson: Introducing first, from Portland, Oregon, weighing in at 242lbs, The Subculture Saviour, Jacoby Capone!

There is no smirk or back and forth with the crowd this week as Capone walks down the aisle and slides into the ring.

Connor: Capone looks very focused this week.

Cohen: Well, there are plenty of rumours are flying around the dirtsheets and even backstage about Capone's future.

Connor: He is not in any trouble from the higher ups. This is not a Deadwood match.

Cohen: I think it is more of a personal decision...

Anderson: And his opponent, from Eastport, Maine, weighing in at 200lbs, The Devil's Dancer, Jimmy Flynn!

Connor: Flynn will be looking to rebuild some momentum after consecutive defeats by the Mayhem champion. If he is interested in getting back into the Mayhem title hunt, Flynn might have to actually think about resorting to mayhem.

Cohen: He is going to have to keep his concentration if he is to be victorious as Capone has gotten increasingly desperate in recent weeks and that makes him dangerous.

Flynn appears on the stage and after kneeling down and gesturing upwards, he heads into the ring.

However, Capone is there to meet him immediately with a right hand and the two go back and forth as the referee calls for the bell to start the match. The Subculture Saviour quickly gets the upper hand and drives Flynn back against the ropes before sending him for the ride with an Irish Whip.

However, Flynn ducks an attempted clothesline and a back elbow before connecting with a high impact chop block that sends Capone face first to the mat. This does not keep him down for long but when Capone rises, Flynn flings him across the rings with a hiptoss followed by an arm drag and then a fireman's carry takedown. However, despite having been whipped from pillar to post, Capone manages to keep his wits about him and uses the brief period of separation to take a powder to the outside.

Connor: A fast start from the Devil's Dancer after the attempted ambush from Capone.

Cohen: It is not like Flynn to work so well with a fast pace. Capone might have to rethink his strategy.

Capone walks around the outside with his hands on his hips, clearly frustrated at how the match has started while Flynn commands the centre of the ring, calling for his opponent to re-enter the ring.

Slowly, Capone does just that, walking up the steps and sliding between the ropes, making sure the referee keeps Flynn back. Eventually, Capone steps forward to meet Flynn and they engage in a collar and elbow tie up. Unsurprisiingly, the more technically sound Flynn is able to twist Capone into a wrist lock. After a few sharp twists, Flynn then wrenches Capone back down onto the canvas and dives in attempting to lock on the Omoplata!

Connor: Flynn looking to end this early.

Cohen: Perhaps too early. Capone is not worn down enought yet.

With that, before Flynn can lock it in the deadly submission, Capone is able to twist back onto his feet, reposition his body and lift Flynn up on his shoulders only to send him crashing down with a big Samoan drop.

Connor: Escaping the Omoplata not only extended this match but an impressive counter could give Capone the advantage here.

Cohen: He needs to be quick though otherwise...

Before Cohen can finish, Capone is up and has bounced off the ropes, looking to drop a big knee on Flynn. However, the Devil's Dancer is able to roll out of the way leaving Capone to connect with nothing but mat.

As the Subculture Saviour favours his banged up patella, Flynn fades in behind him and lands a beautiful belly to back suplex. He then grabs the arm that Capone raised to protect the back of his head and dragging him to his feet lands a double knee armbreaker. Without letting go of the arm, Flynn then repositions himself for a Russian leg sweep, complete with float over for the cover.

1...2...

Capone throws up his arm up to roll his shoulder off the canvas but Flynn grabs it again and once more tries to lock on the Omoplata.

Connor: Flynn is looking for the big finish again. Capone better get to the ropes or it is curtains.

With Flynn forcing his strength and weight onto his upper body, Capone flails with his feet to break the plain of the ropes. Before Flynn can synch in the submission, Capone succeeds in forcing the break as his toe just about grazes the rope.

As Flynn questions the referees call, Capone retreats into the corner. When Flynn then follows him in, he grabs the waist of Flynn's jorts and pulls the Dancer face first into the top turnbuckle. As Flynn then staggers out of the corner, Capone follows up with a big flying clothesline.

With Flynn momentarily stunned, Capone attempts a running senton splash again but this time connects. This brings Flynn to his feet, clutching his chest as Capone stalks his prey. Grabbing both of Flynn's arms, Capone lifts his opponent up for a Needle Drop! However, before he can get him in position, Flynn is able to get one of his arms free and then twist to the side bringing both himself and his opponent to the mat.

From the resulting muddle of bodies and limps, Flynn flings his leg up around Capone's head and arm and all of a sudden the Omoplata is locked in in the centre of the ring!

Capone struggles briefly but so far from the ropes he really has no option and is forced to tap out!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Jimmy Flynn!

Connor: A good win for the Devil's Dancer. That Omoplata really is devasting.

Cohen: He was certainly persistent in his attempts to lock it in and despite Capone managing to fight it off twice, it finally paid off.

Connor: I suppose now we will see if the rumours about Capone's future are true...

Madison: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am joined at this time by the fasted rising star in WZCW today, Triple X!

*Triple X moves into the shot but is looking somewhat disheveled and wary of his surroundings, occasionally looking over his shoulder.*

Madison: X, on Meltdown you added another big name to you increasing impressive resume by defeating a former WZCW champion in Drake Callahan, even after the hectic start to the night having to fight off a cadre of bounty hunters. That must have really given you a boost?

Triple X: It really should have, Stacey. For all his constant rantings and ravings about real and mostly imagined slights and conspiracies, Drake Callahan is a skilled warrior and to be able to get any kind of win over him should have been a moment for celebration.

Madison: Should have been?

Triple X: It should have been but was not.

Madison: May I ask why? Is this because of Steven Holmes' bounty?

Triple X: I am not going to lie, Stacey. The last week has not been easy and the last 24 hours have been even worse. I have barely had a moments peace any time I step out in public as various people have tried to collect as various times.

Jalapeno tried to take me out when I visited the local fast food restaurant he now works at - he ended up face first into an ice cream machine.

A bathroom attendent called Daniel Dela Cruz regaled me with his personal history of wrestling in the indies before trying to blindside me. He ended up eating some urinal cakes and then washing his head in the toilet and then...

*In mid sentence, Triple X nonchalantly steps backwards just in time to move out of the way of a charging backstage hand, who then runs straight into the wall behind X and Stacey. Triple X barely acknowledges the interruption and steps back forward to complete his sentence.*

Triple X: ...to top it all off, the maître d' at my hotel, some guy called Dean Miles, attacked me this morning as I was checking out. I really have had to have eyes in the back of my head.

Madison: But if you were having so much trouble already, was it really wise to get involved in Holmes' match on Meltdown? Surely that would only ramp up the pressure on you as he continues to increase the reward?

Triple X: The reason I did it is because Holmes has to realise that regardless of how liberally he throws his money around, it does not mean that he is going to get everything his own way.

No matter how many unscrupulous rogues try to stick their nose in my business, I will not let Holmes think for a minute that he has gotten rid of me so easily. Our little dispute will not be decided with a chequebook or a suitcase of money, it will be decided in the ring.

Madison: But how do you think this will affect your chances at AoN?

Rather than answering, XXX gives Stacey a suspicious look.*

Triple X: What is with all the questions, Stacey? Unless...

Madison: Unless what? I am an interviewer after all.

XXX then wags his finger at Stacey.*

Triple X: I'm on to you, Stacey. Trying to distract me with chatter only to then bash my head in...

XXX then slowly backs away from Stacey, who is wearing a look of incredulity. Once XXX is gone, she looks towards the camera to finish the segment.*

Madison: It seems that Steven Holmes' plan is starting to bear fruit. Even if someone fails to collect the $1,000,000, XXX has definitely been thrown off by this unwanted attention.

*As the interview ends, Stacey can be seen walking off in the same direction as XXX with what is clearly a large wrench hidden behind her back.*

Madison: Oh, Triple X! May I have another quick word with you?

The following match is scheduled for one fall!

Anderson: And his opponent, weighing 315 pounds, from Indianapolis, Indiana; MIKEY STORMRAGE!

Connors: “Both these two young men had two very different weeks last time around.”

Callahan pulls and rips at the turnbuckle, bursting it open as the referee steps in to try and prevent him from doing further damage. Drake starts yelling at the ref and actually shoves him into Stormrage. Mikey shoves the ref out of the way in order to attack Drake. Callahan though is faster than Mikey and ducks him, before firing off a dropkick into the corner. Mikey’s head cracks off the exposed turnbuckle and Callahan rolls him up with a schoolboy, imitating his earlier pin attempt: 1...2...3! Immediately, Drake bails out of the ring as Mikey’s head pops up, a rage across his face.

Anderson: Here is your winner; DRAKE CALLAHAN!

Cohen: “I think it’s hilarious that Mikey thinks he is going to get an answer from The Grand Mystique.”

Mikey walks out to the top of the ramp and gets a great cheer.

Connors: “Mikey wants him one on one in a big way. His best chance of victory here may be to think that Smith is The Grand Mystique and punish him in the same way.”

Anderson: And introducing his opponent his opponent, weighing in at 235 pounds, from Washington, D.C., he is the Elite X Champion...Sam Smith!

Cohen: “Welcome our greatest Elite X Champion.”

Connors: “Who had a great showing last week!”

Connor: No one can sustain an advantage here in this one!

Cohen: Who just went for a cover, huh? Smith has this in the bag!

Smith gets up and pulls Alhazred to his feet, putting him on his shoulders, looking for Nightfall, but Alhazred slips off and clips Smith in the knee. He backs off and aims for the Level 5 again! He whirls just as Smith gets up - but Smith ducks under it! He stays down and lifts Alhazred up onto his shoulder and NAILS NIGHTFALL! ALHAZRED IS UNCONSCIOUS AS SMITH GOES FOR THE COVER! He gets 1, 2, and 3!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Sam Smith!

Smith rolls out of the ring to collect his title belt and gloat while the the ref checks on Alhazred. Smith gloats on his way to the back

Sam has stepped out on to the ramp with the Elite X title clamped to his waist.

Cohen: “We should enjoy this view Cat. Sam has promised to not show up to All or Nothing because he doesn’t feel the challenge is there from anyone on the roster!”

Connors: “Mikey is a fairly sizeable challenge.”

Cohen: “That’s not a compliment is it.”

Smith arrogantly steps out of his corner and pushes Stormrage away. The fun-loving big guy laughs and heeds no attention to it. Smith pushes him again but this time the big man doesn’t budge. He smiles and Smith shows some concern. They start with a tie up, which Stormrage dominates by pushing Smith into the corner. Smith slips out and hits a series of stiff kicks to the legs. Smith comes off the ropes and ducks a Stormrage clothesline and the Elite X champion is caught in a belly to belly suplex! The crowd cheer and Stormrage dives across for a cover! 1...2....kicked out by Smith!

Connors: “Mikey has started like a house on fire!”

Cohen: “I’ve always found that to be a poor choice of words.”

Mikey Stormrage picks up Smith by the hair and whips him into the corner. He chops his chest and then pounds his mid section with some hard shoulder tackles the impact of which reverberates around the arena. He backs off before hitting a charging splash. Smith falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring, Mikey follows. Smith elbows Mikey in the chest and then hits him in the throat. Mikey is stunned, winded and leans on the apron for a second. Smith climbs the ringside steps and from the ring apron, he steps on Smith’s throat. The ref enforces a generous five count and eventually Smith gets off. Smith rolls in through the ropes and drags Mikey through. He goes for a cover but it’s kicked out at one.

Cohen: “The fat lump is getting his just desserts but if the Grand Mystique ends up facing him at All or Nothing then there may be nothing left for James Howard to come back to.”

Sam Smith sets for the Nightfall. The crowd boo again as they know what the intent is. Smith tries to put him in position but he can’t lift him. An elbow to the face stuns Smith and the Elite X champion drops his opponent. Mikey tries to hit a pumphandle drop but Smith drops him with a DDT to counter the lifting move! Cover by Smith 1...2...kicked out by Stormrage. Mikey is up quicker but he seems a little distracted, he goes for a big boot but Smith dropkicks the standing knee. Roll up! 1...2...kicked out by Mikey again.

Connors: “Excellent sequence here by both men.”

Cohen: “And unsurprisingly the Elite X champion came out on top.”

Smith is up quickly this time. He waits patiently for Stormrage to become vertical again lands a perfect knee lift to the stomach to send Stormrage backwards. Smith charges at Stormrage but the champion is denied as he backdrops him to the apron. Smith keeps his balance though and lands on his feet. Smith tries to suplex Smith over to the floor but Mikey is too strong and another forearm shot stuns the champ. Mikey roars as he goes for another belly to belly suplex, this time getting huge air as he powers Smith over the top rope, over his head and he crashes to the floor. The crowd respond and the noise gets louder as he heads to the top rope! The hard hitting match takes its toll as Mikey steadies himself in the corner. He flies but Smith rolls out of the way! Mikey crashes to the mat, his face and his ribs are crushed and he screams in agony. Smith crawls over and pulls Mikey up, hitting a Falcon Arrow in the middle of the ring! 1.....2.....Mikey kicks out! Smith pulls Mikey in for a front facelock. He buries some knees into his chest. Mikey tries to fight it and lifts Smith off his feet, Sam tries to hit a DDT but Mikey counters into Game Over but Sam falls out of the grip. Mikey rushes forward, Smith ducks him and Mikey hits the ropes. He goes for a lariat but Smith can pick him up and knocks him down with Nightfall! Mikey collapses after the brutal strike to the head, Sam drops on him for the cover, 1.....2......3!

Connors: “What a devastating strike!”

Cohen: “Oh boy that is all she wrote.”

Your winner by pinfall, the Elite X Champion Sam Smith.

Sam poses in the corner with the title raised in the air. Mikey rolls out of the ring with his head in his hands and a pained grimace on his face.

Connors: "Wow, Mikey came up against the irresistible force tonight."

Cohen: "Yep and what makes you think the result it's going to be any different when he meets the immovable object of The Grand Mystique."

Connors: "Has GM accepted the challenge yet?"

Cohen: "When he does, it's going to go very badly."

We are backstage where Stacey Madison is lying on a couple of stacked moveable boxes with an icepack on her nose, moaning in pain. She looks at the wrench in her hand before tossing on the ground near where Vance Bateman begins to walk by. He looks at her with a questionable and angry face.

Bateman: Why the hell are you lazing about? I don't pay you to do nothing!

Stacey continues to moan.

Bateman: You better have a good explanation for this.

After a couple more groans, she looks over to Vance.

Madison: You might be on-time with your cheques but sometimes its not enough for a girl to live on. I wasn't passing up on the chance to cash a million dollars into my account an-

Bateman: Wait... are you talking about the bounty? Big Dave told me that Holmes had dropped the cash.

Stacey laughs.

Madison: Well if I and several other current and former WZCW employees have attempted to cash in post-Meltdown then I believe either Big Dave or Holmes has come up with a lie.

Vance seems furious.

Bateman: Damnit Dave! I've got to sort this out before it becomes out of hand. Is Holmes here tonight?

Stacey shakes her head. Vance goes to storm off but turns around.

Bateman: One question: if you went after Triple X, did he defend himself against you?

Again, she shakes her head.

Madison: I tripped over in these stupid heels and broke my nose... Triple X got me the ice pack...

Vance rolls his eyes as he walks off with Stacey continuing to moan in pain.

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen the following match is a Four-Way Elimination Match for the #1 Contendership of the Elite X Championship!

Ricky Runn walks out from the gorilla position to a decent sized pop from the crowd. He sends paint-stained fingers across his face, but it is evident that his usual pep is gone. However, the crowd is reignited upon seeing him jogging down the entrance ramp and connecting hands with fans. However, a noticeable spark is missing.

Anderson: Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 225 pounds, Ricky Runn!

Cohen: How can Runn come out here and wrestle tonight after what he did to that poor girl Isabel. He has to be ashamed of himself.

Connor: It was an accident Cohen, and we all know it.

We see Runn in the ring as he discards his sweater to the outside.

Gold lighting brightens up the rampway and the ring whilst a dark blue lighting covers the audience with light blue waves rippling throughout the crowd. Sandy Deserts steps out onto the entrance stage to a huge pop. She spins her way to center stage, where she blows gold dust out towards the ring. The crowd pops it up.

Anderson: Making her way to the ring, from The Night’s Watch, weighing 143 pounds, The Sandman!

Connor: Sandy Deserts is an unproven female in a man’s world. Tonight would be a huge win if she could pull it off and go after Sam Smith.

Cohen: Girl power?

Connor: Girl power.

We see Sandy working the crowd as the next music begins to play.

The crowd comes unglued as Celeste Crimson makes her way out from the back. She looks focused as she heads down the ramp.

Anderson: Making her way to the ring, from Petersburg, Russia, weighing 165 pounds, Celeste Crimson!

Cohen: You can be behind Sandy all you want. I am rooting for Celeste tonight. She has the body, moves, and all she needs is a pretty title strapped around her waist!

Connor: You make a good point. Despite Celeste’s long tenure in WZCW, she has never captured a title. Winning tonight would possibly be the start of history.

Celeste is now in the ring. She exchanges a small wave with Sandy, but it looks like there won’t be any friends in tonight’s match.

Alhazred struts on stage and stops at the top of the ramp. The crowd gives him a big pop. He kisses at the crowd and continues his strut down the ramp. He runs down to the ring.

Anderson: Introdu-

We see Alhazred slide into the ring with a laying position, bending his knee and holding his head with his hand. He slowly gets up and walks over to Anderson. He begins thrusting at her; Anderson jumps in fear. Alhazred continues thrusting until she exits the ring. He then points to all the woman in the front row, he begins thrusting at every side of the ring. He licks his lips and walks over to a corner. He jumps up on the turnbuckle and lays on the top of it, legs spread wide, and waiting for his female opponents.

Cohen: I, uh...

There are no words that can be said about what we just saw. We see Celeste, Sandy, and Runn both staring at Alhazred on the turnbuckle. The referee is looking at him too. We see the ref do a facepalm before sounding for the bell.

At first, no one moves. Celeste looks over at Runn and then looks at Sandy. They all make a silent agreement that the overly sensual Alhazred needs to be taken care of. Celeste decides to take the task upon herself. She slowly walks over to Alhazred on the turnbuckle. As Celeste gets closer, Alhazred starts thrusting his pelvis. Each step is another notch in speed for the thrusting. Finally, Celeste stops in front of him. Alhazred stops the thrusting as well. She looks out at the crowd and then back at Runn and Sandy, who are both still in their corner. She looks back up at Alhazred, but only for a moment. She takes a step back and then spends swiftly in order to connect a high Spirit Crusher to the face of Alhazred! He tumbles off of the turnbuckle and crashes to the outside mat. The crowd pops for the move!

Connor: Nailed him!

Cohen: Well deserved.

Celeste turns around and we now have a three-way tango on the inside of the ring while Alhazred nurses his wounds on the outside. It appears that we are about to get a three-way brawl, but Runn suddenly drops down and rolls out of the ring. He decides to go over to the downed Alhazred and capitalize on him. Meanwhile, we are now left with Celeste and Sandy in the ring. They both come to the center and extend out their hands. They begin with a test of strength. Celeste quickly wins and kicks Sandy in the gut.

Connor: The early days of this tag team sees them already facing off one-on-one in the ring!

Celeste then proceeds to kick the shin of Sandy. Sandy eats it, but has little time to favor her wound, because Celeste sends another to her other shin. As Sandy lifts up her leg in pain, Celeste steps up and grabs her by it; she pulls Sandy for the ride and executes a leg cradle suplex! Celeste makes a quick cover, 1....Kick Out!

Meanwhile, Runn is outside and is picking up Alhazred by the back of his head. Runn proceeds to slam Alhazred’s head into the top of the barricade. The crowd gasps at this. Runn follows up by grabbing Alhazred head once again and slamming it into the barricade again. This time, Alhazred flings back and falls onto his back. Runn quickly acts on a whim and hops onto the barricade in a crouching position; he launches off of it and lands a springboard moonsault on the torso of Alhazred.

Connor: Great innovation by the Second City Daredevil!

Back to the ring and we see that Celeste is whipping Sandy across the ring and into some ropes. Sandy bounces off of them and returns to Celeste, who grapples her in the front and lifts her up for a beautiful belly-to-belly suplex! Celeste quickly gets back up to her feet and follows up on her young tag-team partner. She reaches down to pick up Sandy, but she gets caught off guard and Sandy drags her down by her arm. Celeste gets flipped on her back and Sandy looks to capitalize by positioning Celeste’s head in-between her legs. However, the submission doesn’t get locked in fully and Celeste manages to push her out of the way. Sandy jumps up to her feet while Celeste does the same. Celeste charges Sandy, but gets a stiff forearm to the face from her tag-team partner. This causes Celeste to stumble backwards, but she quickly finds herself going the other way via Sandy Irish-whipping her to the ropes. Celeste bounces off of them and returns to Sandy, who is ready to grab the head of Celeste and flip her over with an impressive snapmare maneuver! Celeste keeps rolling after hitting the ground, but Sandy isn’t done with her yet. She proceeds to bounce off of the ropes that Celeste just went to and returns with a baseball slide that sends Celeste rolling out under the bottom ropes and crashing onto the outside mat.

Connor: These girls are going at it!

Cohen: Even better than the boys!

Speaking of, we see Runn roll Alhazred into the ring, who appears to be coming around. Runn hops up onto the apron, but he is shocked to see Sandy running up to him. Runn takes a swing at Sandy, but Sandy ducks the flying fist. She proceeds to reach up and pull down Runn for a jawbreaker on the top rope! The sends Runn flailing back and crashing onto the outside mat. Sandy smiles at her handiwork and then turns around, but she is not ready for the sight at hand. Alhazred is now up on his feet and quickly sweeps the legs out from underneath Sandy. This sends her crumbling to the ground and into a sitting position. A sitting position that is prime for the current mental state of Alhazred! He begins thrusting his pelvis hard towards Sandy, who quickly begins scooting backwards and away. The referee isn’t sure what to make of the situation.

Cohen: Is that legal?

The pelvic thrusts continue as Sandy scoots all the way back into the turnbuckle. A look of horror is upon her face until she comes up with a resolve. DING! That ain’t the bell folks! That’s a stiff forearm from Sandy going straight into the nads of the provocative Alhazred. The referee shouts something at Sandy, “You are disqualified!”

The crowd begins to boo.

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, Sandy Deserts is eliminated!

Cohen: Well that is definitely not legal.

Connor: Do you blame her?!

Sandy argues with the referee for a brief moment, but then quickly decides to abandon the attempt. She exits the ring.

Cohen: One down, two to go!

Right after Cohen’s line, Runn re-enters the ring underneath the bottom rope. He crawls over to Alhazred, who is cursing up a storm over his unlucky blow. He makes a cover, 1....Kick Out! Runn pulls himself up to his feet and picks Alhazred up with him. He grips the head of his opponent and begins slowly turning until dropping Alhazred back down on the mat with a rolling neckbreaker. Runn goes for the cover again, 1......2.Kick Out! Runn claps his hands in frustration. He climbs back up to his feet. He reaches down to pick up Alhazred, put this time he gets a fist in return. Runn flails backwards, but is able to catch himself. By this time, Alhazred is up on his feet. Runn responds back with his own punch. Alhazred staggers backwards, but comes back with a round-up and then the swing! A punch sends Runn stumbling and twisting. He walks right back into Celeste? Celeste is now back in the ring! She sends her own stiff right hand into the face of Runn, which sends him stumbling back to Alhazred. Alhazred fires back with his own. Runn stumbles back once more to Celeste! Celeste pulls back and nails Runn with another hard punch. Runn is in a daze now has he stumbles back into the center of the ring and facing Alhazred.

Connor: They are treating him like a pinball!

Alhazred grabs his glove and begins powering it up. He begins slowly spinning his fist until the motion is quite fast and fierce. The crowd perks up at this, and we see Alhazred pelvic thrusting towards Runn! He goes into a spinning motion and hits Runn with a Level 5! Runn flies back onto the mat! Celeste steps up to approach Alhazred, but Alhazred is quick to send a stiff kick to the gut of Celeste. This causes Celeste to bend over towards Runn. Alhazred runs past her and bounces off the ropes, he returns with a running bulldog that causes Celeste to land on top of Runn! The referee slides in to make the cover as Alhazred returns to his feet and begins thrusting towards the pin attempt,

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, Rick Runn is eliminated!

Connor: I don’t believe it!

Cohen: I can believe Runn getting pinned, but I just can’t grasp my hands around Alhazred’s new in-ring strategy.

Connor: Why would you want to grasp your hands around anything that has to do with him?

Cohen: Good point.

Alhazred proceeds to pick up Celeste off of Runn, who happens to roll out of the ring after Celeste gets off of him. He tucks her head underneath his arm and drops her with a snap DDT! He proceeds to make a cover with his upper-torso as he humps the ground with his lower part, 1....2Kick Out! Celeste gets the shoulder up and looks pissed as she rolls away. She somehow finds herself on her feet at the same time that Alhazred does. She looks over at him as he rubs his body and licks his lips. Celeste shakes her head in disgust and charges after him. Alhazred charges back, but he is not ready for the pissed off Celeste! She slides a leg into the ankle of Alhazred and grabs the back of his head in order to slam him face first down onto the mat. Celeste pounces on him and latches onto Alhazred before rolling him over. She has the Sea of Serenity locked in! Alhazred can only flail by thrusting up into the air! The crowd is going wild!

Connor: Celeste has her finisher submission locked in; this could be it!

Alhazred is thrusting like mad, but Celeste is not letting go anytime soon. The referee is asking him if he wants to tap, but Alhazred shakes his head no while continuing to thrust! Celeste begins wrenching like mad on the neck and arms of Alhazred. Slowly we see the the thrusting die down. Like a beating heart, the pelvis of Alhazred slowly comes to a stop. The referee takes this as a opportunity to check on Alhazred. Yes, he confirms it! Alhazred is incapacitated!

Anderson: Here is your winner by submission, and the new #1 Contender for the Elite X Championship, Celeste Crimson!

Connor: Yes! She has done it! Celeste is one step closer to capturing her first title. She is the oldest member of the roster and now she is fingertips away from gold!

Cohen: I told you she would win! She has the most spunk out of all of them!

We Celeste getting to her feet and celebrating as her music begins to play. The referee holds her hand up as the crowd cheers her on. The camera shows Smith walking out onto the entrance ramp with the Elite X Title. Celeste notices him and stares out at him. Smith raises his belt in the air and looks down at Celeste.

Connor: It is going to be Sam Smith vs. Celeste Crimson at All or Nothing for the Elite X Championship! I can't wait! Wait, hold it just a second-

Connor pauses.

Connors: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to have to go backstage. We've just heard that Mikey Stormrage is tangling with The New Church!"

__________________________________________
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We shoot backstage with a rough and bumpy view of Mikey Stormrage fighting off Derek Jacobs and Mason Westhoff. The Grand Mystique stands off while his acolytes punish the inspired Stormrage. Jacobs gets in a strong position and holds Mikey back. Mason is handed a chair by their leader.

GM: "Finish him, end him now."

The priest stands back and swings for the fences. Mikey moves, falling to his ass but avoiding the brutal shot entirely. Derek Jacobs is not so fortunate and he receives the full force of the chair shot across the top of his skull. Jacobs falls with the seat of the chair imprinted with his skull. Westhoff winces at the impact but The Grand Mystique is more concerned at the fact that Mikey crawls away. Westhoff goes to chase him but GM stops him with a shake of his head.

Mikey: "I'm going to get an answer out of you Mystique. You will face me at All or Nothing!"

Suddenly Vance Bateman, backed by security personnel and EMTs runs in. Mikey looks still game for a fight but Vance himself holds him back.

Bateman: "Mikey, get into my office NOW!"

Stormrage is pulled away from the scene by security. Bateman addresses The Grand Mystique and Westhoff who stand over their fallen brother who is receiving emergency treatment on the floor.

Bateman: "You will be punished for this. Not just for what you have done tonight but I've had enough of The New Church running roughshod over our shows! I'm going to make sure that you regret causing the problems that you have."

*We shift backstage where a frustrated Jacoby Capone is pacing around the parking lot, grumbling to himself.*

Capone: Another defeat... another night of wasted effort...

???: Jacoby!

*Becky Serra approaches the disappointed Subculture Saviour.*

Serra: Jacoby! Might I have a few words?

*Capone takes a few seconds to collect himself and then nodds in acceptance.*

Serra: How do you feel about your latest defeat? Is there something you think you can change to help you get on an upward curve?

Capone: You know, Becky, in the past, I would have let this latest defeat get me down. Even let thoughts of quitting enter my mind. But not this time. This time I am going to use this disappointment as fuel to rocket up the ranks here in WZCW. I am going to...

**THUMP!**

*Capone's rousing speech is cut short by him being slammed into by a reversing car! Becky is left to look on in horror as the window of the car winds down to reveal the driver as Ricky Runn.*

Runn: Oh hey, Becky. Nice of you to be standing in the parking lot looking to give the Second City Daredevil some more air time but I have to go drown my sorrows at yet another defeat.

*However, seeing the look of shock on Becky's face, Ricky quickly exits his car and tries to comfort her.*

Runn: Becky, what's the problem? Is there something I can do?

Serra: You've already done enough...

*With that, Becky runs off in the direction of the backstage area shouting for medical help.*

Runn: What was that about?

*However, as Ricky turns to re-enter his vehicle, he sees the mess that had caused Serra's shock.*

Runn: Capone?

*Ricky then sinks to his knees and screams at the top of his voice as EMTs begin to arrive.*

Runn: Oh no! Not again!

Anderson: The following contest is a six man tag team match, scheduled for one fall!

Constantine walks out ahead of his minions to the utter derision of the assembled crowd. There's no mistaking how anyone in the building feels about these gentlemen - they do not like them. Constantine, for his part, appears calm and collected about it, not reacting much to the jeers of the crowd. Behind him, Alex Bowen and Justin Cooper hurl it right back at the crowd, insulting them with the best they can think of. The parade of hate makes it way to the ring eventually, where all three men stand in the ring for a moment, in a line with Constantine at the center, and appraise the crowd, which hasn't let up on them yet. Constantine smirks a bit before directing his men to the corner.

Anderson: Introducing first, the team of Alex Bowen, Justin Cooper, and Constantine...the Empire!

Connor: We see assembled now this new unit that has vowed to take WZCW over by force, as the so called Empire has formed together in support of the ambition of one John Constantine.

Cohen: This is the kind of unit we haven't seen in a long time, Cat. A group of men assembled not by a creed or a message, but by one singular purpose - to absolutely dominate WZCW.

Connor: Just about everyone in WZCW is on high alert with these three roaming the halls, but maybe none more so than their opponents tonight, all of whom have in particular drawn the ire of the Empire.

Cohen: And let me tell you, that is a bad, bad place to be right now.

Barbosa strides out onto the entrance ramp, but pulls up short of actually walking to the ring. The crowd welcomes him happily, but seem confused as to why he isn't proceeding to the ring.

The crowd doubles its response for the arrival of the mechanical man, who walks forward to stand next to Barbosa. The two look at each other sideways and nod briefly before proceeding to the ring together.

Anderson: And introducing their opponents, first, the team of Barbosa and S.H.I.T. !

The two get to the ring and take the stairs up on opposite sides, staring daggers at the Empire as they proceed.

Connor: I never thought I'd see the day these two chose to enter as a team, when it was just a few weeks ago that they were at each other's throats. But strange times make strange bedfellows, it seems.

Cohen: Strange bedfellows isn't the half of it. I'm going to go on record and say that this is the weirdest tag team I have ever seen. A robot and a psycopath? Nobody can beat that.

There's not a one in the crowd not on their feet for the arrival of the world champion as he makes his way to the entrance ramp. He's grinning from ear to ear as he raises the world title belt above his head and shows it off for all the world to see. It seems that no one in the building is more focused on Showtime and his belt than Constantine, who is staring dead on at the champion as he makes his way down. About half way down the ramp, Showtime makes eye contact with Constantine and his grin fades, becoming deadly serious in an instant. He finishes his walk to the ring without ever breaking eye contact with Constantine.

Anderson: And their partner, he is the WZCW World Heavyweight Champion..."Showtime" David Cougar!

Connor: There's absolutely no mistaking it - Constantine desperately wants to be world champion. And he looks like he's ready to kill Showtime to do it.

Cohen: Good! If you're not in this business to be the best, then get out. I don't think anyone exemplifies the desire to the best in this company more than John Constantine.

Connor: Maybe the man who has the world title belt right now?

The assembled teams separate themselves out in preparation for the match, S.H.I.T. apparently taking point for his team and Cooper beginning things on his end. The ref signals for the bell and we are underway. The two meet in the center of the ring and begin to exchange a flurry of blows, but it's S.H.I.T. that gets the better of it with a hard chop to Cooper's chest that staggers him for a moment. A moment is all that S.H.I.T. needs as he hits quick neckbreaker to take an early advantage. S.H.I.T. pulls Cooper to his feet and wrenches his arm, forcing him to the corner where S.H.I.T. tags in the world champion! The crowd lets S.H.I.T. know they approve of his choice as the two men set up for a double team move, S.H.I.T. hanging onto Cooper as Showtime puts a boot into his gut. Cooper staggers into a corner and Showtime mounts the ropes, throwing rights into the side of Cooper's head as the crowd counts along. Showtime goes to whip Cooper across the ring, Cooper reverses it and Showtime heads for the corner and bounces off it. Cooper pursues but Showtime charges at him with a big clothesline to take the momentum back. Showtime stomps on Cooper's gut and pulls him to his feet. Before Showtime can set up for anything, Cooper leaps and hits a low dropkick that catches Showtime in the chest and knocks him to the mat. Cooper quickly gets on Showtime and drags him into his corner, tagging in Constantine. Cooper locks up Showtime's arms and Constantine gets in a hard kick to Showtime's chest. Constantine brings up Showtime and whips him into the corner. He goes after him and goes for a series of strikes to Showtime's chest and head, then whips him across the opposite corner. He charges after him and hits a clothesline in the corner. Constantine backs off and Showtime falls to the mat, where Constantine goes for a cover and gets one, but only one.

Connor: Constantine is getting in some punishment on his opponent at All or Nothing, and you have to think he's making every move right now with calculation for what will put him in the best position to win it all.

Cohen: Nothing Constantine does is not calculated to bring him advantage. That's what makes him one of the most dangerous opponents in the game.

Constantine lets Showtime get to his feet on his own as he waits for his next move. He closes on Showtime, but Showtime leaps up explosively and nails a dropkick on Constantine. Showtime looks like he wants to pursue Constantine, but he quickly tags in Barbosa instead. Barbosa comes in and hits a clubbing blow to Constantine's head, then pulling him up and hitting another to the gut. Constantine makes his way to the corner and Barbosa pursues, continuing the striking assault. Constantine tries to escape again but Barbosa only grabs him in the center of the ring, knees him in the gut and hits a DDT! He holds onto the facelock and gets back up again, hitting another DDT! Constantine rolls away and tags in Bowen before Barbosa can punish him further. Bowen heads into the ring and squares off with Barbosa. Bowen tries a kick but Barbosa catches it. He lets go of it at the same time he charges in and hits a clothesline on Bowen. Bowen staggers to his feet in the corner and Barbosa chops him hard across the chest. Barbosa drags Bowen over to his corner and tags in S.H.I.T. S.H.I.T. levels a blow at Bowen while Barbosa has him, then whips him into the corner. He goes after him with strikes until Cooper is able to duck aside from a big right and knee S.H.I.T. in the gut. He quickly grabs S.H.I.T. by the head and returns to his corner, tagging in Bowen. Bowen elbows him in the head and sends him to the mat where he goes for a quick pin, getting one, two, but only two. Bowen pulls S.H.I.T. up by the neck and brings him to his corner, where he tags in Cooper. Cooper hits a series of kicks to S.H.I.T., grounding him and leaving him struggling to get up. Cooper tags in Constantine, then grabs S.H.I.T. by the arms to keep him in place. Constantine hits one hard kick to S.H.I.T.'s head and tags in Bowen, who drops an elbow on S.H.I.T. and goes for a cover, getting one, two, but only two.

Connor: Extremely efficient tag team wrestling by the Empire here, proving that they are an excellent team in and out of the ring.

Cohen: It's hard to argue with that. That kind of execution normally takes a long time to develop. It's a testament to the intelligence and dedication of these three that they already have this kind of chemistry.

Bowen drags S.H.I.T. to the center of the ring and locks in a sleeper hold, looking to choke out the mechanical man. S.H.I.T. struggles hard at first, looking like he might break out of it, but he starts to fade. The crowd is trying to will him back in as he struggles to break out, but eventually it looks like he might be done for. But just as the ref starts to check if he's still in it, S.H.I.T. finds a burst of energy and forces his way up to a vertical base! He looks asleep on his feet but he's forcing Bowen off of him! S.H.I.T. breaks out of it! But Bowen is quickly back on the attack, clipping S.H.I.T.'s knee from behind and then striking him in the head with his knee. Bowen grabs S.H.I.T. by the head and drags him up, trying to bring him over to his corner. S.H.I.T. struggles away from him, however, before hitting him with a big European uppercut! Both men are down as S.H.I.T. reaches for his corner. Bowen is trying to get up and stop him just as he tags in Showtime! The champ goes right after Bowen and takes him down with a clothesline. He goes after Bowen's legs and it's clear that he's looking for the Commercial Break! Cooper charges into the ring before he can get it in and Showtime tosses Bowen aside, ducking down and throwing Cooper over his head with a back body drop. Cooper pops up and hits a backhand chop on Showtime that sends him staggering back. Cooper closes and knees him in the gut, then nails a jawbreaker! The ref is trying to impose some order but now Barbosa has charged in, taking out Cooper with a clothesline! He pulls him to his feet and elevates him high above his head, SMASHING him into the mat with a powerbomb! But now Constantine is in and clips Barbosa's knees from behind! Barbosa staggers to face him and gets NAILED with the Axis of Evil! Constantine kicks Barbosa out of the ring and then goes after Showtime, but S.H.I.T. is in before he can get his hands on him. S.H.I.T. hits Constantine from behind and Constantine hits the mat. S.H.I.T. is about to go after him again when Bowen gets up and hits him with a bulldog! Everyone is down but Alex Bowen and the ring clears except for Bowen and Showtime. Bowen sees his opportunity and pulls Showtime up, hooks his neck, he's looking for a big suplex! He elevates him but Showtime slips out and cleans Bowen's clock from behind! Bowen is staggered and Showtime takes him down, locks his legs up, and locks in THE COMMERCIAL BREAK! There's no save now in the center of the ring as Bowen is trying desperately to reach the ropes! Constantine sees it and leaps toward Bowen in a desperate attempt to save - but Bowen taps! Bowen taps!

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners, the team of Barbosa, S.H.I.T., and Showtime David Cougar!

Showtime lets go of the hold just as Constantine is about to reach him. With a grin on his face, the world champion slides out of the ring and goes to check on his partners. Constantine gives him a deadly stare but lets him go, knowing this fight is finished. He disgustedly pulls Bowen to his feet and searches for Cooper, who is just stirring on the outside. Barbosa and S.H.I.T. are geting to their feet, Barbosa looking a little worse for the wear but beginning to realize he's won.

Connor: Showtime takes advantage of some chaos to put an end to this one by submitting Alex Bowen, and Constantine's plans suddenly don't look so well put together.

Cohen: But just remember this - at All or Nothing, it's just Showtime and Constantine. Bowen won't be there to lose a match for him.

Connor: That'll do it for us for Ascension tonight, everybody. Tune in to Aftershock tomorrow to see Chris K.O. take on the New Church in a gauntlet match! We'll see you next time.

Who Wrote What:

Barbosa - Flynn/Capone; Segments
Fapplejack - Opening; Segments
Harthan - 6 Man Tag Team
Kermit - Fatal Four Way
Numbers - Smith/Stormrage; Segments

Again, sorry for the tardiness. Funkay and I had our own problems trying to get our parts done and big props to Kermit stepping in when we needed the extra hands.

Hopefully Aftershock will be up on-time... and this week hasn't been a good week. We'll be definitely ready for the PPV as I think we are all amped up for it... have to wait until AF though: get ready for it!
