Are people embarrased to be wrestling fans?

I just choose not to mention that I like pro wrestling because everyone will automatically assume its WWE. Plus, I know absolutely no one who enjoys independent pro wrestling, therefore I could never start an engaging conversation with anyone if all they're going to talk about is mainstream wrestling. I have talked with someone about old school wrestling and I went on and on though.

I don't often mention I'm a wrestling fan in aloud conversations or anything... But in blogs & the like, where I mention it but can mention lost of other things too to give someone a "bigger picture" of me, etc.
