AoN 2014 Discussion: Vega & Theron Daggershield vs. War and Death

At Meltdown 100, Dr Zeus and The Beard formed a terrifying coalition, hellbent on devastating all those that stood in their warpath, and their momentum has only escalated as time transpired. However, the Good Doctor is keen to expand his stable, and has set his sights on Vega for the past few weeks. Both Zeus and Beard have had some difficulty dealing with the thorn in their side Theron Daggershield recently, and Vega never made it clear where he was aligned until Ascension 78, where he took out both monsters and vowed to exterminate them with Theron at his side. Can the odd couple triumph over evil, or will War and Death destroy them once and for all?

Aww, I gotta be the one to talk about my own feud first?

Fun little fact about this feud, that I can let out now; Infinity and I had plans to feud from as far back as Unscripted. Sadly, those plans didn't materialize, but it was going to be a bit more based around Alexis. I don't want to tip my hand on potential ideas for Theo and I's RP, but some of those ideas may help me in this match.

As always, this is a coin toss. Lot of scores to settle here; I still have never beaten Theron. Vega now has a loss to me, and Beard holds wins over both Theron and Vega. In fact, Beard has been crushing people, left and right. This week not withstanding, Beard has been fucking up your shit, and taking your cookies. But Vega has always scared me; I think he has been writing damn good RP's. at the risk of pulling back the curtain too much, apparently our RP this week hit home for some people, so go have a read. It's fun I promise. And Theron is someone I just haven't beat yet. In fact, Theron has been on the rise, capitalized with what I call a huge win against Showtime. I'll say it again, anyone that scored a victory over Showtime is likely destined for huge things.

And then there's me; I'm coming out of a funk, and have some things up my sleeve. And there's nothing worse for your character, than Zeus with things up his sleeve...

This is tough one for me. Zeus and Beard have been absolutely formidable in the last few weeks but in Theron and Vega they have two opponents that are committed, passionate and well capable of winning against anyone.

That said I do think Beard and Vega will come out of this one with a win. For the sake of continuing their era of dominate and cementing them as two BAMF's, I think they need the win here. The heels need to pick up the win before they are brought down to earth again somewhere down the line.

It's going to be a tough match for everyone involved but I see Beard and Zeus just coming through it.

I'll chime in too, then maybe the others will come post on this card's best feud.

I've had a blast working with you, Theo, and Infinity this cycle. I've had to step up my game like never before and came up with great character development for Theron. It's been highly enjoyable and I think the four of us may be able to put together a potential show stealer if we all bring our best RP's. I will disregard a prediction since I am participating in the match.

And there's nothing worse for your character, than Zeus with things up his sleeve...

Same goes for Theron. If I can turn my worst RP rough draft into an RP that defeats Showtime, then just think what I can do with a piece of character development I was saving for PPV? Bring your best bro, I'm looking forward to our match!

It's been a great feud so far. The swearing moment totally sold me. It should be a excellent match and while War and Death are slight favourites, the new pairing easily could snatch it.

Well, now the RP's are essentially well and in. I know Infinity has to send his, but I though I'd give some thoughts on this feud.

This feud, more than perhaps even Kurtesy, absolutely wore out my PM box. Now granted, that really doesn't sound like I'm saying all that much. I mean, after all, of course I would; there's four people involved in the feud, as opposed to two. But I can not stress how important it is to contact your partner. This cycle, Infinity and I turned in what I consider a PPV caliber RP battle, because we decided we would use each other's worlds, to mesh into one. And of course, Theo has been someone I talk to on the regular, as I do Theron. Spread your PM's out folks... Even if it's just a small detail, it may blossom out into a larger idea. Infinity mentioned something of a Trinity of sorts, and the name sort of stuck. Small little touches like that can make a feud have depth.

It has been such a joy working with Theron and Vega, and Infinity has really powered this feud. He had a great amount f the ideas you saw take place, and the dude is always great to work with. Charming bloke, if I may say, and I think he really gets the end goal for where a feud needs to go. I really can't sing either man's praises enough.

I cannot agree more. Infinity and I spent this entire cycle brainstorming via PM and I contacted you numerous times as well. May the best team win. It was a heck of a ride, regardless of which side wins. I'd argue this feud was greatly beneficial for all 4 characters, I hope everyone has enjoyed reading it as much as we have coming up with it!

Haven't you read the fine print? When you sign up for a feud with me, you're at least going two cycles. Only let Harthan off because he wanted to switch out Drake.
