I really liked it and still do. Same goes for Handlebars, to be honest. It's kind of genre-less which is the kind of music I like. According to Wikipedia, they released an album last year. I'll have to check that out.

Onomatopoeia was good but it didn't have quite the polish that their last two albums had. I'm usually all for that raw feeling for an album, but for some reason I'd have to say Fight With Tools and Survival Story sound better simply because it is polished.

It took me a minute to recall what you were talking about, my head went straight to the GoBots for some reason.
Yeah, I always enjoyed the Flobots. I often find that the songs that get the most airplay are usually among the worst on the album.
I've said this about Sublime's big hits too. If people seriously think Caress Me Down, What I Got, Santeria, Date Rape, and Badfish are their best songs....I just shake my head. They wouldn't even break my top 20.

IMO debut albums are never as good as later albums.
Think about it, you have a new band putting out there first album and they may not know what they're doing. After it comes out they learn and grow add some stuff to the next album and take things out that didn't work as well as trying new stuff.

Oh, I wasn't implying that at all. That was more or less about the song Handlebars. Not the album itself.
More or less, what I meant was, you'll find more people who are familiar with Handlebars than anything else they've done.

Even then Handlebars is actually a pretty dope song it just got way overplayed is all.

They can still be good, but not their best. Like I was saying with Sublime, Badfish, etc..are all dope songs, but I'd rather listen to Boss DJ, Pool Shark, Steppin' Razer, Roots Of Creation, or STP any day of the week.
