Anybody else out there that like myself, has read almost every book written by J.R.R Tolkien, and his son relating to Middle-Earth? I can't be the only one on this website...
So far I have read everything except books 2-12 of the History of Middle Earth. Reading the first one right now, but I am going slow because it's pretty difficult to read.
Totally agree. I don't have any Tolkien lined up to read right now, currently doing major literary analysis project, however after I'm finished probaly go on to read something or other of Tolkein.
Very good writer if you want to know what every blade of grass looks like and just how noble someone is, not very exciting though, after all the battle of Helms Deep is just a page and a half of "and then Aragorn slew many Orcs."
I've read The Hobbit. I freaking loved it. I've tried to read the actual LoTR series, and I can't. It's just a little bit too deep for me. I have a friend who has read every one at least 10 times, gone online and read fan fiction, and watched all the extended editions, in succession, at least twice.
I watch all three extended editions in succession at least once a month. I read the LOTR wiki regularly. Believe me, saying I am a fan of the guy is an understatement.
