there's a death metal show on discovery channel right now, kind of interesting

ther talking about death metal causeing kids to kill people, I think people that beleive people kill people because they listen to metal are fuking ******ed

yeah i seen it last night... good show... fucking LOVE Slayer...when they blame music for satanism or murder, you have to ask the real question...where are these dorks parents at?
i've been a fan of metal since i was like 11 yrs. old...i am 30 now...never once have i thought about worshipping the devil...
just seems like a dorky thing to do , like playing dungeons and dragons or being a Trekkie or something...those kids need some lotion and some porno...that oughta keep them occupied for awhile

It has to do with the way that lyrics are interpreted. I mean, there was that time when they had D Schnider appear before congress to represent the metal community. They were accusing that one of his songs was about being a sadist, and killing your family or something. When in actuallity it was about his guitar player's throat surgery. If you look for these violent messages, your going to find them. Its all about interpretation.

has anyone in here seen any good bands lately, I saw alice in chains about a month ago(great show), and about a month before that I saw anthrax and rob zombie(anthrax forgot what city they where in I think, other than that it was a decent show by them and a good show by zombie)

I like to see Tool, but I can't afford it, and I'm hopeing Deftones hit the road again soon, since I missed family values and have never seen them

Over the summer I went to the sounds of the Underground and saw In Flames, Trivium, and Killswitch Engage live. Killswitch is the best live show I have ever seen, they are fucking awsome live.
