Another tag team/tag team titles thread

Yes, another thread the above. Carlito, and Primo are nice as they are doing ok I guess. They aren't the most popular of "face" tag teams the WWE has ever seen, but they'll do. There is something about Carlito/Primo that just annoys me. Everything is good with the chemistry, but they seem to "plain". I guess they have just gotten too stale for me.

The WWE has a solid amount of talent, and another portion of that talent isn't doing much. It looks as though the New Hart Foundation may be on the horizon. If that is the case this should help the struggling division. Unfortunately, Priceless wasn't much of an effective tag team. However that could still change, I guess. The WWE needs another strong "face" tag team. They really need to team Kofi up with someone in the developmental. Kofi is over, and I think pairing him with someone who has decent charisma, and an awesome aerial attack. Right now I think Kaval from FCW is the perfect choice for pairing with Kofi. They would be a solid tag team that could get over with their moveset alone.

A new face team is indeed on the horizon hopefully. I think they will put Sheamus with Finlay for an Irish Team. Hopefully they wont but Sheamus with Kendrick as Finlay can teach him alot and they would be a good combo.

Well i think that a great team wheather face or heel would be the brian kendrick and evan bourne. Can u imagine how much fun they would be to watch. Better than London and Kendrick. They could be called the Rockers 2.0. Maybe Kofi and Bourne would work too.

I can't see anyone legitimately taking the titles off of Carlito and Primo anytime soon. They can make as many teams as they want, but Carlito and Primo are a legit team now. You can't just push Sheamus and Finlay together and expect everyone to say "Oh, ok. They've been around for a month, but they should totally win the Unified Tag Titles." Same goes for the Hart Trilogy.

Like it or not, Carlito and Primo are likely holding onto those titles for a long while, until creative decides to give them to Priceless. But, given 3 months of actual writing and rational tag team matches, Priceless/a Kofi and MVP team could work/Hart Trilogy/Kendrick and whomever he chooses/even Cryme Time could give Carlito and Primo a run for their money. Hell, even that Sheamus/Finlay team could. All it takes is a legitimate push that makes sense.

I know what you mean about carlito and primo, I mean when was the last time they lets say cut a promo? Cos i seriously can't think of one they did recently, back in the day we had E@C, New age Outlaws and The Dudleys cutting promos every week and exciting spotfest matches.

I really hope they just bring back Paul London as a heel, like The Paul London to take the titles from the colons, then all you need to do is bring back HBK and turn him heel put them in a stable and bring in kelly kelly and a batista turned heel and you've got a nice little aragont heel stable to work with.

I just want to see the titles seperated again in my opinion as I was looking forward to this rebranding of the tag team roster and now we are left with the tag champions who can wrestle on any brand they want, only wrestling on Raw. I mean their is only 4 tag teams on the WWE roster at the moment. Just break the titles apart and go back to what it use to be with ECW & Smackdown knowing how to push a tag team and Raw just giving the belt to random guys.

something i thought about how about instead of putting random people with no real similarities together (honestly the punk and kofi idea was weird and because it seems so odd i hate how people put out these random pairs) but try to eithere just flat out bring in new tag teams from the Indy scene or just start pushing FCW developmentals in sets of 2 instead of 1 by 1 think about it what you need for a tag team division is not just some singles wrestlers teaming up. but have fresh brand new teams who don't have separate gimmicks, they need the same gimmick

lets look at some examples:

the hardy's (from the old days) - both very similar, dressed the same talked the same and never wrestled a match without their partener ringside (unless of injury of something)

the hardy's (during before matt's heel turn and after the golden age) - they changed so much, they dressed differently. they had different mannerisms, they did'nt seem like a tag team anymore just 2 random singles wrestlers put in a tag match

E&C - again, dressed similar, same gimmick, saem mannerisms, the team were like 1 character

TBK and anyone they pair him up with - not going to be similar, totally different gimmicks, don't act the same, propably don't wrestle the same. just not going to be good


you see in my opinion a tag team should represent 1 character in the giant musical called professional wrestling. if both members of the team try to reflect as 2 different gimmicks then it's going to be a flop thats why the only good tag teams out there are cryme tyme and the colons, because they have the same gimmick they're treated with one "role". now priceless does the same thing but in my opinion they kinda suck!! they don't reach the standard of a WWE competitor really if they weren't 2nd gen wrestlers, then they would'nt be with WWE.

but before i get off topic with my hatred of how 2nd gen wrestlers have it easy. I'll end my thoughts a tag team should represent 1 "role" in the musical of professional wrestling. if you try to just throw in 2 characters with different gimmicks then it's going to be a failure thats why i hate how people are just saying just pair up alot of the bottom-mid carders into tag teams. honestly if just pairing random people up to keep them around is your last resort for them then they should be released it's cold but it's true. remember this is all my opinion so don't threaten to kill me for the priceless comments.

They should bring back Heidenreich and Animal from the Legion of Doom, also bring back Taka Michinoku to team up with Funaki on Smackdown, and finally, most importantly, bring back the Dudleys. give the ECW belt to Jack Swagger, and bring Christian to Smackdown so he can team with Edge again, because Edge is annoying as the World Champ IMO.

Also, anyone reckon a Samoa Joe and Umaga tag team would work? Nah, Joe's actually talented, Umanga's just another fat hoss with the personality of a gnat, and the moves to match, his finisher is a thumb to the throat for chuff sake!

Yeah, I don't understand why we only have one Tag Team Championship but TWO Women's titles. The Women's division is so pathetic, they shouldn't even have one title.
