Angles based on movies

I was watching Kill Bill 2 the other day, and I was thinking wouldn't it cool if the opening promo by Uma Thurman was used by a female wrestler to hype a match?

Just like when Russo did an angle in the WWE with the Blair Witch project, I thought it would interesting if TNA started making angles based on movies.

For example, you can have a face with a title, who has a big ego and halfasses in matches. A heel would beat the face for the title, that face would think about retiring, then is convinced not to, trains hard and no longer halfasses, and wins back the title. Sounds familiar? Rocky 3.

I wouldn't expect it to be for all angles, say maybe, one angle a month.

Pulling angles directly out of movies is a horrible idea. Themes and ideas are fine, but if you can look at an angle and go "hmm isn't this the story from xxx" that would be boring, uncreative and offer nothing to make me want to watch it. the example mentioned of "cocky wrestler loses, contemplates retirement, comes back and wins" has been done and will be done again, but I wouldn't call it the Rocky 3 story. I'm sure if you look at most angles you'll be able to relate them to a lot of movies/plays/books -- that's just adapting entertainment themes to a different forum.
