Go read it. I just looked it up because some random thread on here was talking about how to end Pokemon and mentioned something about a coma. It's perhaps the most ******ed thing I've read, but really sad anyway.

Yeah, I read that thread but I still don't exactly know what the Coma theory is. Is it that the entire Pokemon universe is fake or just Ash's journey? It sucks both ways but I'd still like to know.

I think the wholeidea is that it's Ash's world created in his fantasy, which keeps him in his coma. If he becomes a master of this world, then he wakes up from the coma.

Of course, then one has to wonder why it takes seven fucking years for someone to pull the plug, considering the huge amounts of brain damage likely done.

This is possibly the most ******ed way to finish such an iconic series. Pokemon is said to be the best anime of all time by many people. Good luck getting that title after this dumb finish.

I think this comes from a longing to attempt to make Pokemon a more viable product for adults to enjoy. It seems like poor fan-fic, but it does make Pokemon seem much more mature, at least when considering the theme matters

I think the part that will actually piss people off is the last third. That's when it devolves into speculative (at best) analysis and heads down the path of straight up fan-fic

I personally would put more stock into Mr. Fuji being the father than either Giovanni or Oak
