Now after just watching the NXT rookie 6-man tag match on RAW, a number of things that I have already foreseen have come to fruition.
1) Husky Harris as far as I'm concerned ids the poor man's Samoa Joe. The IWC rips on Joe heavily and even calls him fat, so what does that make Husky? Joe has a great arsenal of moves and the intense persona to boot, Husky to me is that watered down WWE version of Joe and I'm not buying in.
2) McGuillicutty needs a persona and a name change, first off let's be honest, McGuillicutty doesn't roll off the tongue, so lets go with Joe Hening at least something that sounds like the name of champion not a jobber. Also, this guy is the only tweener on the NXT roster, now that works when you're an established superstar but it sure as hell doesn't when the WWE universe is trying to decide whether or not to boo or cheer you. Make him a face during NXT and if he wins the competition turn him heel and cash in his title shot against a mid card champion.
3) Last but not least, when Kaval got the tag tonight he was by far the only one who got a pop from the crowd. Kaval is exciting and I have loved his worked since his days as Low-Ki and with a bit more charisma he could be a viable player in the mid card scene. The crowd loves his offense and I guarantee when those polls come in every week, he is #1 every time. If Kaval loses the show I believe it's due to that "pro vote" which really is who is backed by Vince.
What do you all think,
You stay classy San Diego
