Am I the only one that thinks that...

Wait till after wm25 when orton beats hhh for the title there will be more story lines for priceless. orton is the leader and with the help of priceless he will get his title back. For their help, orton will help rhodes and dibase win tag titles or w/e. Let the story develop a little bit more they will both get a rub from orton before it's all over.

The stable would work better if they added a 4th member, somebody who's a little more established, Carlito would be the best choice for this, and the best way to add him would be to split him and Primo up through the draft, send Carlito to RAW where he would join Legacy, and then Primo to ECW where he could develop into a better singles wrestler

Other choices for this role that could work are Umaga, who could also play the role of the big enforcer of the group, kinda like Batista in Evolution, or CW Anderson, who could also play the same role

The Legacy faction started off great, but it has fallen badly. The only shinning star is Orton. But, if creative can get smart with this, we could see a new Evolution. I think that was the original idea anyway. Orton being the HHH and Princeless representing Orton and Batista. No I am not saying either Rhodes or Dibiase hold a cangle to Orton or Batista, just thats who they represent in this group. But as for a fouth member, a guru as you will. I like the idea of Shane O' Mac being that guy. It would make sense, in away. Another good candidate for that role would be Stephanie herself. For her "character" it would be more logical. She is lying, manipulative, and a few words I wont type here.

As for a faction against Legacy? Who on RAW could lead? Well HBK comes to mind. But, I would like to see him take on 3 people who are still up and coming. Charlie Hass would be a good fit. He is very good in the ring, when given the chance to actually compete. Another guy would probably be Kofi Kingston. He has the potential, just needs the right push. HBK could offer that, and much more. The last guy....this is a tuff one. I would probably say, Even Bourne. He is the future on WWE, well one of the many futures I think. Just as long as he stays healthy. Yes I know he is hurt.

Well thats my piece of the pie. Probably not a good one though. lol

Peace Love and Naked lil Bunnies :)

Am I the only one that thinks that Legacy is a huge flop as a main event stable? I mean look at Orton, he's building HIS legacy even more and is getting better at pretty much everything by the second. I'm a huge fan of Orton's work in and out of the ring, but this is just not working.

No, but I think you might be the only one who considers them a Main Event stable. Legacy wasn't meant to be a M.E. Stable, it was meant to center around making Randy Orton an even more powerful Main Eventer.

In the same fashion that Cena joining up with Cryme Tyme wasn't ever suppose to make Cryme Tyme seem like Main Eventers, so much as just give them a push in the spotlight.

Of course Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes are flopping in any type of Main Event scene. That's because they haven't been in the company longer than a year + at most.

This group was just made, to place focus on Orton being capable enough to lead two younger Superstars.. and to give Rhodes and DiBiase something to do, that helps them for the future.

Anyway... am I the only one that believes this? That Legacy (is also a horrible name since collectively they HAVE NO legacy and to call Orton's career up to this point "legendary or legacy-like" is a bit of a stretch) is a stable being pushed down our throats way too quickly? Because it just isn't working for me...yet.

Uhm. All 2nd Generation Superstars. (ie. Legacy)

Once again, I think you're either over or under-looking the situation. Ted DiBiase (Sr), aka the Million Dollar Man.. had a tremendous career. Dusty Rhodes, had a huge career. Cowboy Bob Orton.. had a good enough career to be considered rememberable.

Collectively, their children are now following in their footsteps. (ie. Legacy)

It makes perfect sense, and if anything is quite possibly one of the best titles to call your Faction, as it makes sense. As opposed to other former faction names, that didn't quite fit the bill.

Nation of Domination - It was a group of black guys who hated "the man". Originally it was a group that had a white guy IN IT. They weren't dominating, at all. And 5 people, at most, doesn't qualify to become a Nation under any circumstances.

Ministry of Darkness - Outside of the Undertaker, was any of them truly fitting the name? A former fat ass rapper in Viscera. A guy who later wore a fanny pack and had part of his name called "Naked". An all-american in Ron Simmons, and a future multi-millionaire in Bradshaw. Hardly dark.

Heenan Family - With the exception of Bobby Heenan, were any of those he managed.. related?

Filthy Animals - Excluding Konnan, were any of them really animals, or filthy?

I don't really see Legacy as a mainevent stable per say. I see it as Rand Orton, maineventer, with an enforcer/tag team to help him. But I think Priceless is actually getting some good spotlight and experience from this run.

If they weren't with Legacy right now they would be at pretty much the bottom(also known as the WWE tag division)feuding with Morrison/Miz & Cryme Time. But instead they get mainevent experience without the pressure of being mainevent type talent. And unlike guys like the Bashams and Ryder/Hawkins, I think we can all see both Rhodes and Dibiases potential to be big stars in the future. So right now they get mainevent exposure, get to be in a big storyline, and are helping Orton take over raw. So the group isn't automatically making top stars of Dibiase and Rhodes but I don't think that was the point to begin with and I think Legacy is doing fine.

keep in mind that wrestlemania is just around the corner...
Legacy will be pushed hard afterwards!
And lets look at it the way WWE does! Screaming female Fans!
Put 2 new wrestlers with someone who has an abnormal reaction and they get to brush shoulders with popularity... Hopefully one of the 2 will work out!

But still!
Rhodes V.s. Snuka... ic title!
Bad Idea?

Legacy just hasn't worked for me so far. At least not in the sense of it helping to get Rhodes & DiBiase over. But theres a very good reason for that. Orton is on the best run of his career. He's the best heel I've seen since Triple H in late '99-2000. He's at the top of his fuckin' game right now, and for me at least he's getting to the point of being the man in the WWE. Let him be the focal-point right now, let R&D stay in the background. If & when Otron beats Triple H at Wrestlemania (theres no way they'd be ******ed enough to make him job for HHH), he'll be in a much better position to get R&D over. I think by Backlash you'll be able to get a sense of whether or not Legacy is working. Right the focus needs to be entirely on Orton going in to Wrestlemania.
