All Knockouts PPV

Earlier this year we had an All X division PPV and it was a huge success ! Then it got me to thinking...right now the knockout's division is heating up and all of those who watch Impact Wrestling last night saw the return of Traci Brooks. So why not have an All Knockouts PPV !!!

Here goes my idea have the PPV right after BFG, by that time Melina and Gail Kim will be clear to wrestle...Imagine the fueds and the awesome story lines leading up to it !

What do you guys think of a All Knockouts PPV ? And What would you call the PPV ?

I think that TNA tried this in December 2009. The Knockouts division was the hot story in wrestling, and they gave them a special called "Knockout New Year's Eve" on SpikeTV. No one gave a shit and the ratings were horrible.

I would call the PPV "Maybe You'll See Vag" in hopes of getting people to buy what would have no interest otherwise. Women's wrestling doesn't draw asses to seats, it never has, and- sorry, ladies, and the two dozen people who watch SHIMMER- it never will. It's a sideshow to the other parts of the card for sexually frustrated males who think seeing Mickie James' thong sticking out of her asscrack is the peak of sexuality, and not some sweaty, slightly shit-stained piece of cloth hanging around the asscrack of someone who's been passed around more guys in the locker room than a bottle of painkillers.

How was this sucessful exactly? It did less buys than an average IW PPV and it did very little to further storylines or elevate X-Division talent. I loved the idea, and yes the matches were good, but it was in no way a huge sucess.


As for the Knockouts, their special actually did a decent rating (0.8) but I'm not sure how many people would buy an entire show. They were certainly have to bring in a lot more talent for me to buy it.

X-division wasn't a huge success because if it was, the company might have touted its success by releasing official buys for the Ppv. Or like WWE does with their "Did you know" videos.

Don't think there are enough Knockouts in Tna to have their own PPV. However if they were to get some of the past divas like Lita, Torrie Wilson, Maria etc. for one night, then it would be interesting. However I don't see it happening.

Have interchangeable mud / jello rings and get Ron Jeremies to referee and maybe. OK, probably not. Too few women wrestlers of quality. Either this would be a super short event, or the matches would be painstakingly long with triple the mistakes of a regular match. For a good example of how far this would go, just think of the G.L.O.W days. For those that don't recall, that is Sly Stallones Mom's defunct "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" promotion.

It would not work for the reason there are not that many knockouts in tna/IW and x division did not help out the ppv the reason it was good was maybe because of Aj and Daniels but that is all.

If they had an all women's PPV, they would have to have it include nudity, or jello/mud wrestling, etc.

Otherwise, it would be the lowest PPV buyrate ever. Who would waste money to watch a bunch of clothed women wrestle?

the all x divison ppv was very entertaining with great matches but it wasnt a HUGE sucess as it didnt have the best buys and it didnt really further storylines all that well (although if it was done again next year as an all x divison ppv again id buy it no doubt in my mind) but as far as a all knockouts ppv goes...i belive they tried this before and it wasnt all that good and back then they had alot more knockouts then they do now! as much as i really enjoy the womens divison in wrestling and not because theres hot chicks fighting i really do enjoy it i just dont think this idea would work it wouldnt draw much ppv buys and the divison isnt strong enough for even a whole impact episode to be all knockouts right now nvm another hour for a ppv!

More like pervy boys. What guy is going to pay for a PPV with women wrestling when they can go online and look at free porn whenever they want?

I know it sounds bad but the only way that the PPV buyrates would be as high as other TNA PPVs is if there was advertising for semi nudity at least or bra and panties matches but other than that who will watch four hours or whatever of pure women's wrestling. I'm trying not to be sexist as I'm not really sexist but it probably came across as I'm sexist. But seriously, people (mostly us men I'm guessing but maybe some woman) will buy the PPV if they think that they can see Miss Tessmacher in the least amount of clothing before it's called porn because of her look.

Sounds fucking terrible. No one gives a shit. It's good for a "spice match" as in a wrestling show is like going out to eat, you want variety, but as a whole PPV? Fuck no. Just because TNA has more girls who can do more moves doesn't mean it'd be any good. TNA's buyrates anyways aren't that great and you want them to be even lower?

Pro wrestling is about story and emotion and most of the girls they have are just kinda there and a screaming white trash cat fight in the back is one thing, 2 girls trading moves another thing, but a whole PPV? No thank you.

Yeah, so it's a lose lose situation. So there is no point of having a KO PPV.

They already have all Knockouts PPV's...they are produced by such companies as Vivid entertainment, and such. Now if TNA were to host an all KO PPV....EPIC FAIL. Hate to burst your bubble my friend, but most people use Diva's/KO (I know one is WWE and one is TNA I'm just using them as a general Female wrestling circle for this) matches as bathroom breaks or a time to stretch and wait for the next real match. That's not to say the women don't deserve credit it's just their matches are so bloody BORING. Why on earth anyone would PAY 30bucks to watch them on a PPV is BEYOND me. Watching them for free is 1 thing because it's a package deal. Now if TNA were to do something like "Buy blah blah blah PPV, get KO's PPV Free" then ok you could have that "PPV" as an intro to the other PPV..say Bound for Glory or something. But any poor sap dumb enough to pay money to watch the Knockouts perform is probably dumb enough to drink a bottle of Acid.

lmao i agree with the jello like people say the womens matches now a days are piss breaks well a whole ppv is a lng ass piss i like some knockouts matches and mickie in her dazy dukes but not enough to pay 34.99

I'm not a fan of the "All Division PPV". I had no interest in Destination X and still haven't seen the PPV (although I did find time to see RVD and Jerry Lynns match). And an all Knockouts PPV would appeal to me even less than Destination X did. There probably are some female wrestling promotions out there but I wouldn't have thought they're very successful. Therefore I couldn't see an all Knockouts PPV being successful.

If there was to be a Knockouts PPV and it was headlined by Angelina Love vs Velvet Sky, I'd give the main event a go but I wouldn't be interested in the rest. Much like Destination X where I was interested in the big match (RVD/Lynn) but couldn't care less about anything else on the card.

The Knockouts are arguably worse than the Divas nowdays, there's only about 3 of them who actually have the ability to put on a watchable match.

But who in the blue hell would pay to see knockouts wrestle eachother. its like paying to watch kane vs the great khali at wrestlmania 23 over and over and over again. terrible idea and should (not will) appeal to pervs wich would generate more buys

I probably should watch it seeing as it's the only PPV TNA have produced in the 3 years I've been watching that I haven't seen. I just wasn't interested in any of the matches (apart from RVDs match) and didn't think I'd miss much by not watching it. And that's why I'm not a fan of these type of PPVs, it's just random matches really.

I enjoyed Hardcore Justice 2010 which was basically a random PPV but that was only because I cared about the majority of the guys competing. Where as the Knockouts and X-Division have 1 or 2 wrestlers I care about.

A Knockouts PPV? That has to be the worst idea I have ever heard. No one would order that other than lonely single men who look toward Knockouts who are faces as hope that someone might finally give them a chance someday. The same people who watched NXT season 3. The overwhelming majority of fans would ignore the show. What would it have? A Knockouts title match between Mickie and Winter, a tag team title match between Angelina and who cares against the team of who cares and who cares? Followed by five filler matches? Who would pay to see that!? So to answer the question of what to call such a PPV, I would call it a failure because that is exactly what it would be.
