Alex Koslov to WWE?

Remy LaCroix

Lou Thesz' Favorite Son
I read on a Spanish-speaking lucha libre website that indicates Alex Koslov has signed a developmental contract with WWE and will report to FCW this October after his contract with AAA expires.

Some of y'all might remember him as a jobber a few weeks ago in a squash match under the name Carlos Sanchez against Alberto Del Rio.

A few of y'all might remember him during his stint in TNA for the 2008 World X Cup Tournament as part of Team International.

And a handful of y'all might remember him working for Ring of Honor a few times a while back.

For the rest of y'all who don't know, he's currently working for AAA south of the border and is the current Mixed Tag Team champ alongside Christina Von Eerie.

So anyway, what do you expect out of this? Do you think he'll debut as Vladimir Kozlov's little brother, jealous of his tag team relationship with Santino? Or just be released while still in FCW?

Discuss!

Here's a few pictures of him:

P.S. I forgot to add I was just kiddin' about being his lil' bro. My bad.

Well it'll definitely be very interesting to see where this goes. I've watched a few of his matches and I'm pretty high up on his work. Personally I don't think he'd make a good fit in WWE but given their recent changes in who they're giving TV time and pushes to, I could be fooled.

A debut as Kozlov's little brother doesn't sound too viable given his look. Perhaps he'll show up associated with Alberto Del Rio in some capacity.
SN: Del Rio really does act and sound like JBL!

I enjoyed Alex's work when he did the XCup for TNA back in 08 and I really thought that TNA should have signed him and made him a fixture in the X Division. I've watched a few of his stuff off and on since then and I pointed him out when he jobbed to Del Rio on SD to a few buddies and I thought maybe there was a chance the E would sign him. I like the signing and seeing how the E has been signing guys that are close to stardom in other leagues show the E is willing to give them a shot. I think he could be a solid midcarder and put a nice run in with either of the midcard championships.

He doesnt look anything like Vladamir Kozlov, so I cant see them using him as The Moscow Maulers brother, they will probably end up changing his name to something stupid as the always do...

Alex Kozlov is very talented however, he definately is worth a spot on the WWE roster, hes in great shape and I could see him being aligned with Del Rio on Smackdown.

Interesting to see where this goes, I like that WWE is picking up a lot of fresh young talent, they are safeguarding the future of their business well

He's got a good physique, I've seen him wrestle, and he looks impressive. Maybe a little small for WWE, but that didn't stop Kaval and Danielson, I guess. Also, I must compliment you on your Velvet Cacoon signature :)

He looks like a WWE superstar. If He debuted I think the WWE would put him as Vladimir Kozlov's younger brother or some relative. But if he debuts I'll be glad to see what he can do.

Honestly couldn't care. Sure he might eventually get some kind of push like Kozlov did, but first off I'm certain Kozlov and Kozlov will be treated like one and the other. They both have a great build, and look where Vladimir is at right now, hardly doing shit.

And it's a shame, Vladimir is entertaining, and Alex probably has potential to do well alongside Vladimir, just as well as perhaps even where Vladimir failed, or feuding with Vladimir.

I can't imagine what will happen, but they better do it properly if they follow through with this. Any else it's bound to be boring as hell.

I personally can't wait for him to debut, I'm guessing, next month. I love how them Mexicans get their panties in a bunch whenever he'd sing the Russian national anthem. But I hate the fact that I know his contract in AAA is expiring, so him and Von Eerie will drop the Mixed Tag Team belts sooner or later, and he won't be harassed by that one Exotico whose name escapes my mind.

And I'm just adding this to add fuel to the fire, but wiki says Bryan Danielson trained him before. Food for thought...

And I was kidding about the lil' bro thing.

Granted it was a squash match, but I actually thought he was pretty impressive against Del Rio. I'm looking forward to seeing what they let him do in a more prominent capacity.
