The show opens up with a quick pyro display on the ramp as the fans of Kansas City, Missouri cheer loudly to be apart of the last of three shows being hosted in their city. We pan across the arena to see the various fans holding up different signs, mostly sporting names of wrestlers and/or their catchphrases. We even see a small group of WZCW cos-players in the front row who pretend to be fighting each other. We get one more shot of the arena before transitioning to the announcer's desk.

Serra: Welcome everybody to another edition of WZCW Aftershock. As always, I am Rebecca Serra and I'm joined by my broadcast partner, "Big Johnny" Klamor. How are you this evening, Johnny?

Klamor: Very excited, Becky, because this is the final stop before we hit Redemption, the upcoming Pay-Per-View event where we will find out who will become the number one contender to the World championship. I've been keeping a close score on the Gold Rush Tournament and I'm eager to see how the final four play out.

Serra: Speaking of which, Jack Cohen, Everest & Big Dave will be here tonight for the final tournament panel discussion later in the show to discuss who they think will make it to Apocalypse. And tonight, we will be seeing the in-ring return of former WZCW World Heavyweight Champion, Steven Kurtesy as he takes on yet another crazed doctor known as Coberer.

The crowd jumps to their feet and cheers loudly as the aforementioned Steven Kurtesy walks out on stage, complete with a suit and a big smile on his face. There is also another woman following close behind him as well as the two make their way down the ramp.

Serra: Looks like we'll be getting to see Kurtesy earlier than expected! He seems to be in good shape.

Klamor: I'm more interested in that valet of his.

Kurtesy gets on the apron and leans down on the second rope, allowing his companion to enter the ring with ease. Kurtesy enters as well and requests for a microphone. He waits for the music and the crowd to die down before tapping the microphone, making it works as he hands it over to the woman. She hesitates but eventually raises the mic. Kurtesy gives her a re-assuring nod as she goes to speak.

???: Good evening, everybody. My name is Michelle Frost and I'm here to convey a message on behalf of Steven Kurtesy who is unable to speak due to his damaged larynx from an incident that occurred the last time he was here in WZCW.

Some members of the crowd boo, remembering the incident.

Frost: As most of you are aware, Steven Kurtesy's colleague, Sandy Deserts, has recently been the target of attacks orchestrated by a man who goes by the affiliation of Dr. Zeus, a psychologically-unstable person with an unhealthy obsession to find the location of Kurtesy's whereabouts. When Kurtesy finally made an appearance, Zeus' actions became more violent and put Sandy in the hospital with nearly similar injuries to which Kurtesy suffered a few months ago.

More boos are hurled over the news of Sandy.

Frost: Steven Kurtesy comes out here tonight wishing to end this chaos and finally concede to the demands of this maniac whereby he leaves Sandy Deserts alone for good in exchange for a match at Redemption.

The crowd becomes very interested as Frost continues.

Frost: This contest will entail Steven Kurtesy going one-on-one against Dr. Zeus in a Submissions Count Anywhere match.

The crowd cheers at the announcement.

Frost: As a sign of good faith, Steven Kurtesy has given you the option to change any stipulation of the match as you see fit and has allowed you until the end of the night to make your decision. Thank you for your attention, ladies and gentlemen.

Frost & Kurtesy share a look at each other before Steven looks to exit the ring. Frost stays in the ring for a second before taking to the microphone again.

Frost: And one more thing - a personal message. The only reason why Kurtesy has actually taken any interest in you Zeus is because you are hurting innocent people. Otherwise, you wouldn't even exist in Kurtesy's world. You are a pathetic excuse for a human being and if you accept this match, I hope Kurtesy chokes your ability to make another stupid rhyme.

Frost puts the microphone on the floor as she exits the ring, passing Kurtesy with the fans cheering after that threat. Kurtesy isn't sure what to make of the statement as Frost begins walking up the ramp.

Klamor: Wow...

Serra: It looks like the challenge has been laid down, folks. Kurtesy has offered Zeus the chance to face him at Redemption in a Submissions Count Anywhere with the ability to adjust the match as Zeus sees fit. This can't be good.

Klamor: All Kurtesy wants is peace, Becky. Sometimes, you have to deal with the devil to get what you want. A means to an end.

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a triple threat match, scheduled for one fall!

Anderson: Introducing first, from Pripyat, Ukraine, weighing 255lbs, Fallout!

Fallout stamps down the ramp quickly. Ignoring the boos that surfaced from the crowd he enters the ring and begins bouncing off the ropes quickly.

Serra: Fallout notched a victory over Wasabi Toyota last time around to really establish himself as one of the big new names in WZCW, after an impressive showing earlier in our recent contract battle royale.

Klamor: He's starting to get people buying into him as the next big thing. Or maybe I should say, the next "next big thing."

Anderson: Next, from West Hollywood California, at 235 pounds, “The Sexcellence of Sexecution”... Joey SEXton!

Joey Sexton comes down the entrance ramp after his music hits. His vibrant zebra print trunks thrust forward powerfully to the beat of his theme. As he walks toward the ring, he only stops occasionally to display to the power of his pelvis to all the female WZCW fans. After entering the ring, he points at a few women in the crowd while thrusting heavily. The attention gets returned by a loud chorus of boos.

Klamor: Last time we saw young Joey Sexton he was not quite as successful as Fallout, taking a loss to Corvus.

Serra: And not a single tear was shed that day...

Anderson: And from Manchester, New Hampshire, weighing in at 241 pounds; Bobby Adams!

After a moment of allowing the fans to get hyped up, Adams finally appears to a modest welcome from the crowd. Adams casually makes his way to the ring, stopping every now and then to get some pictures with the fans.

Serra: Fellow newcomer Bobby Adams has found himself in slightly higher company than his opponents tonight, as he teamed up with Sandy Deserts recently in a losing effort.

Klamor: The thing is, in WZCW, you really make your impress on the company by beating the guys who are on the same level as you coming in. That's how you separate yourself. The winner of this match is going to take a big step forward in that regard.

Referee James Aubrey separates all three competitors into corners before signalling for the bell as we are underway. Sexton immediately slides out of the ring and Bobby Adams gives chase, Fallout watching impassively from inside the ring. Adams chases Sexton halfway around the ring before Sexton slides back in, only to meet a clubbing blow from Fallout. Sexton backs up as Adams is climbing back into the ring, turning to Adams and sliding, hitting him with a baseball slide that knocks him out of the ring. Fallout gets back on Sexton, knocking him into the corner before whipping him across the ring into the opposite corner. Sexton reaches the corner as Fallout comes at him, but Sexton leaps and balances himself in the corner just long enough for Fallout to pass under him. Sexton drops behind him as Fallout turns around, nailing an enzuigiri that knocks him to the mat. Adams gets back in the ring and Sexton turns to face him. Adams immediately knocks Sexton silly with a right hook and continues to lay into him with blows. Adams grabs hold of Sexton and bodily hurls him out of the ring, sending Sexton crashing onto the entrance ramp. Adams turns to face Fallout, only for Fallout to punch him in the jaw and send him toward the corner. Fallout whips him into the opposite corner and charges, but Adams blocks him with an elbow to the face. Fallout staggers away and backs up to the other side of the ring as Adams gathers himself. Both men look at each other, charge with clotheslines - and they take each other out! Both men are down in the ring!

Serra: Something about great minds thinking alike...

Klamor: Listen, Becky, I don't think any of the minds involved in that equation are particularly great.

Fallout slowly rolls to the side of the ring and out as Adams stumbles to one knee, clearing his head. He gets to his feet and turns only for Sexton to charge in after him. Adams catches Sexton and nails him with a tilt a whirl backbreaker - and instead of going for the cover, he keeps Sexton stretched out over his knee with an impromptu submission hold! Sexton screams in pain and tries to fight his way out. He gets a knee up into Adams head, followed by another, and another, forcing Adams to break the hold. Adams backs off and rubs his jaw as Sexton hits the ropes, rebounding, sliding under Adams and popping up with an uppercut to Adams' jaw. Sexton hits the ropes again, rebounds - but Fallout is on the outside! He grabs Sexton's legs and Sexton hits the mat face first! Fallout drags Sexton out of the ring and hurls him into the ringside barrier. He returns to the ring to face Adams, but he is assaulted while he is tied up in the ropes by Adams. Adams pulls Fallout into the ring and drags him into the corner, smashing his face into the turnbuckle a few times. Aubrey warns him to back off and Adams responds by whipping Fallout across the ring, charging and following with a high corner splash! Adams rolls Fallout out of the corner and goes for a cover, getting one, two, but only two! Both men get up quickly, Adams with a slight advantage, he goes after Fallout - but Fallout counters, wraps around Adams with a waistlock on and reels off a German suplex!

Klamor: Right there is something I've really noticed about Fallout so far - he has real power and explosive speed to get it in action...uh, no pun intended.

Serra: I'm sure he won't be tragically offended and come after you in a rage. That would be just terrible.

Fallout forgoes the cover and instead backs up a bit, waiting for Adams to get up. Adams does so, slowly, and Fallout hits the ropes, charges - but Adams counters, getting off a Samoan drop on Fallout! Adams is about to go for a cover but Sexton is on the ring apron and Adams goes after him. He hits Sexton over the back but Sexton counters with a stiff abdomen punch. Adams backs up a bit and gives Sexton just enough time to leap, springboard, fly and NAIL A HURRICANRANA ON ADAMS! Sexton goes right after Adams, punching and kicking even as Adams fights to his feet. Sexton hits the ropes, rebounds, ducks under an Adams' clothesline, rebounds again - and he rolls up Adams! He gets one, two, but only two! Fallout makes his way toward the pair and Sexton notices him, gets to his feet, and kicks him in the head. Adams has gotten to his feet and Sexton hits the ropes, rebounds - and Adams counters with a snap suplex! He covers and gets one, two, but only two! Adams gets to his feet and pulls Sexton up with him, lifting him up, setting him on his shoulders - but Sexton writhes out of it and drops Adams on his head with a DDT! He covers, gets one, two - and Fallout breaks it up!

Serra: Very intense back and forth action with all three men in the ring and just like we talked about earlier, while there isn't an actual prize on the line in this one, it's clear that the winner is going to go a notch above his peers in the eyes of the WZCW Universe.

Klamor: And that's what it's all about - impressing early and often.

Fallout pulls Sexton to his feet and whips him into the opposite corner. Fallout charges him, but Sexton ducks aside at the last moment and leaves Fallout to stumble into the corner. He trips and hits head on the second turnbuckle, falling to his knees. Sexton looks about to go after him before Adams grabs him from behind. Sexton ducks aside and gets into an empty corner, charges at Adams - Adams throws Sexton over his head! AND HE THROWS HIM RIGHT INTO FALLOUT, JUST FINDING HIS FEET! Sexton stumbles and finds his feet, rapidly gets to Adams, puts on a waistlock, he's going for the Sex Plex! But Adams gets out of it, rolls to the side, Sexton turns - and CATCHES A BOOT FROM FALLOUT IN THE FACE! Adams comes toward Fallout and gets a superkick for his trouble! Fallout picks up Sexton, elevates him with a fisherman driver - BUT SEXTON BREAKS FREE! He's behind Fallout, he notches the waistlock - HE NAILS THE SEX PLEX! He bridges, covers - BUT ADAMS IS IN TO BREAK IT UP! Adams pulls Sexton to his feet, he gets him into position - AND NAILS ADAMANTIUM! He tries to cover, but Fallout is on his feet! He kicks Adams in the gut, lifts him with a fisherman driver - AND NAILS THE HALF-LIFE! HE COVERS AND GETS ONE, TWO, AND THREE!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Fallout!

Fallout gets to his feet unsteadily as James Aubrey raises his hand. Sexton rolls out of the ring holding his head and Adams merely tries to sit up, unsuccessfully. Fallout raises one hand and the crowd voices their displeasure, but there's little anyone can do about the victor tonight.

Serra: A very impressive performance from all three men tonight but in the end Fallout stands tall. What do you think, Johnny - was he the better man, or was he just in the right place at the right time?

Klamor: A little bit of both, Becky. Sometimes in these matches it's all about taking advantage of the moment when it breaks down, but you've got to be great to be in that position in the first place.

Fallout walks out of the ring, never looking back at the waste behind him. Sexton slaps the ring apron in frustration while Adams sits up, rubbing the back of his head and glaring at Fallout.

The camera turns to the backstage office general manager Chuck Myles. An assortment of backstage workers, including Leon Kensworth and Stacy Madison are standing in the room.

Myles: This is becoming problematic, we can't get personal appearances, we can't get interviews, we can't even find him! So I'm going to give a five hundred dollar bonus to the first of you to find him tonight and figure out what the hell is going on.

Some of the lower ranked employees scramble out of the room as we go back to the action.

We see Adams walking through the gorilla position and down the curtained corridor, walking down a set of steps before getting to the concrete floor. Adams takes a few steps before a noise can be heard. Adams turns around and doesn't notice anything unusual, shrugging it off. He takes a few more steps and the noises get louder. Adams quickly turns around, searching through the curtains but he finds nothing. He slowly walks off as something is knocked over.

Adams: Whose there?

There is no response. Adams sticks around for a moment to see that a backstage worker from the gorilla position enters the picture, picking up a pole that has fallen over. A little relieved, Adams walks off but still curious as to what has transpired.

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall!

The lights go out and then come back on in blood red as Dustin Hunter walks out in his trademark hoody with his valet, Katie, right behind him. The crowd share their distaste with him.

Anderson: Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 230 pounds, "The Nightmare" Dustin Hunter!

Serra: Dustin Hunter was last in action in a match against James Howard that ended inconclusively thanks to Chris K.O., but it has to be said that a lot of people were impressed with his showing against James Howard.

Klamor: Forming a closer relationship with Chris K.O. has been one of the best decisions that young Dustin Hunter has ever made. It could be the thing that takes him to the next level.

Hunter has now made it to the ring as Katie remains on the outside. She watches Hunter as he enters through the ropes and removes his hoody.

The crowd gives a big cheer as Stormrage walks out onto the ramp. Mikey walks to the ring with a slightly vacant look in his eyes, not seeming to notice much of anything in particular.

Anderson: And his opponent, from Indianapolis, Indiana, weighing 315 pounds, Mikey Stormrage!

Serra: Mikey lost last time around to Ricky Runn to be eliminated from the Gold Rush tournament, a real disappointment not only for himself but for all of his fans in WZCW.

Klamor: What, you mean both of them? Seriously though, talk about two guys on different trajectories. Stormrage is just floundering while Hunter is on his way up.

Referee James Aubrey checks on each of the men in their respective corners before signalling for the bell as we are underway. Both men go at each other quickly as the bell rings, Dustin Hunter hitting a quick sequence of fists that backs Stormrage up a step. Hunter switches to large clubbing blows that send Stormrage into the corner where Aubrey forces a break. Hunter breaks but closes in again quickly, whipping Stormrage across the ring into it the opposite corner. Hunter charges after him, leaps, and hits a running corner dropkick. Stormrage stays on his feet and Hunter is unfazed as he gets back up and pulls Stormrage into the center of the ring. He picks Stormrage up with ease and nails a sidewalk slam. Hunter goes for the cover and gets one, two, but only two as Stormrage kicks out. Hunter gets up and pulls Stormrage to his feet, putting on a waistlock, but Stormrage breaks it, turns around, and reels off a belly to belly suplex on Hunter! He covers and gets one, two, but only two as Hunter kicks out. Hunter gets to one knee and Stormrage goes after him with a series of harsh elbows to the head and neck that force Aubrey to back him off. Stormrage obliges as Hunter struggles to the ropes, draping himself over the second rope to catch his breath.

Serra: Some serious aggression from Mikey Stormrage there with the sequence of elbows aimed toward Hunter's head.

Klamor: Hey, that's what it takes to get by in this business. Sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind and go after a guy, risk the disqualification. It's what Stormrage needs to do to get back in the win column.

Stormrage gets over to Hunter in the ropes and leans on his neck with his knee, crushing Hunter's windpipe between the rope and his body. Clearly choking Hunter in the ropes, Aubrey is forced to back Stormrage off yet again; Stormrage decides to drag Hunter with him to the center of the ring. He elevates him and drops him down with a backbreaker before covering, Stormrage getting one, but only one. Stormrage pulls Hunter to his feet and locks in an abdominal stretch, leaving Hunter to writhe in pain against the hold. Hunter fights free with his open arm, creating some separation for a moment before Stormrage takes him down with a clothesline. Stormrage hits the ropes and rebounds off, but Hunter has gotten to his feet and he counters the charge of Stormrage with a quick roundhouse kick! Stormrage hits the mat and Hunter catches his breath, waiting for Stormrage to get up. Hunter takes Stormrage down with a clothesline just as the big man finds his feet. Stormrage stumbles to his feet again - and Hunter knocks him down with a rolling elbow! He goes for a cover and gets one, two, but only two!

Klamor: Hunter is coming back in this one! He's got Stormrage's number!

Serra: It's the kind of tenacity that you just didn't see from him as recently as a few weeks ago.

Hunter pulls Stormrage back to his feet, but Mikey shoves him away, Hunter stumbling backward into the corner. Stormrage quickly charges and wipes out Hunter with a corner avalanche! He hurls Hunter into the center of the ring and covers, getting one, two, but only two! Stormrage pulls Hunter to his feet, picks him up, he's looking for the GAME OVER! Hunter wriggles out, breaks the hold, steadies himself in front of Stormrage and reels off a quick DDT! He goes for the cover and gets one, two, but only two! Hunter hits the mat with a fist before getting to his feet, pulling Stormrage up and trying to hook him for the Dream Crusher but he can't get all of Mikey up. Hunter desperately tries to pull Mikey up once more and fails again, causing Stormrage to hit a back body drop on Hunter, hitting the referee! Aubrey is down but not out, trying to recover. Stormrage & Hunter look to be the first man on their feet until the crowd begins booing heavily.

Serra: James Aubrey, the referee, is out! And it seems that we've got company.

Klamor: Chris K.O is here, looking to take advantage!

The Eurasian champion sprints down the ramp and slides into the ring, looking to attack Stormrage with the Sword but Mikey ducks and K.O hits Hunter! Chris cannot believe that he has taken out Hunter, turning around to rectify the situation. Mikey is ready and hits him with a big sidewalk slam, taking him out! Chris slides out of the ring as Stormrage picks up Hunter and NAILS THE GAME OVER! James Aubrey has recovered from the shot, not noticing what happened previously. MIKEY COVERS AND GETS ONE, TWO, AND THREE!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Mikey Stormrage!

Serra: Mikey Stormrage rights the ship with an impressive win over a scrappy Dustin Hunter, even with the interference by K.O.

Klamor: Look, we're talking about righting the Titanic here? Anyway, if anything, Hunter should have won this match via disqualification. K.O attacked Hunter, therefore Stormrage should be barred from the victory.

Serra: That shot wasn't for Hunter though, Johnny. It was meant for Stormrage. Serves him right for sticking his nose in someone else's match.

Stormrage gets to his feet slowly as the referee raises his hand in victory. He still looks slightly out of it, as if he still hasn't fully realized where he is. Nonetheless, the crowd cheers as Dustin Hunter rolls beaten out of ring, walking past a recovering K.O on the outside.

We cut backstage and we see The Grand Mystique walking into the arena with David Whitman, Mason Westhoff, and D.C. in a arm cast behind him. Suddenly, Mystique holds up his hand to halt his and his subordinates movements. The camera reveals that Chuck Myles is standing in-front of them. Myles addresses The Sacrificial Altar.

Myles: Look, quite frankly I'm tired of having to clean up the messes you leave in the backstage. Whether it be Thrash or what you reportedly did to El Califa Dragon and Amber Warren last night at Ascension. So let me get one thing clear. The only reason why the Los Magnificos Dragones are not here tonight to meet you head-on is because I begged them to rest up after the assault and gave them my word that I would take care of it.

Mystique: Well?

Myles: Los Magnificos Dragones is getting TSA at Redemption! And to assure that it is a fair fight, I only want to see two of you out there for that match. Anyone else and I'll make sure there is even more severe consequences.

The crowd cheers within the arena. Myles straightens his suit jacket and walks off in a proud strut.

Mystique sneers as he glares at Myles off-camera.

We cut to the ring and we see a referee standing inside of it with WZCW rookie, Anthony Corvus standing in a corner. Corvus’ music is just dying down.

Serra: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the scheduled match of Anthony Corvus vs. Dr. Zeus is delayed as Dr. Zeus has not made his way to the gorilla position in the back. Wait, hold on a minute. I am getting word that Chuck Myles and the WZCW camera crew has found Dr. Zeus backstage now.

____________________
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We cut to a shot of several officials following Chuck Myles down a dark hallway. They stumble upon a creeping Dr. Zeus whose shoulder drags against the wall. Zeus looks behind his shoulder at the camera crew and Myles.

Zeus: The match was important once, yes it was
But after seeing the professor earlier tonight I am abuzz.
Nothing else matters, he is my prey.
I must return to my quarters, tell Corvus it’s his lucky day.

Myles: Whatever your beef with Kurtesy is can wait. You are still a contracted wrestler. Go out there now and compete against Corvus, or you might not even get a chance to tango with the professor. Understood?

Zeus turns to face Myles.

Zeus: A match you want, fine a match you will get
However, the blood that I shed; you will regret.
Remember it was you who forced what I’m about to do
Anthony Corvus’ broken neck will be on you!

Zeus smile as he runs past Myles and the camera crew.

We return to the camera at ringside.

Serra: *shivers* He always gives me the creeps.

Klamor: I wouldn’t want to be Corvus right now, or Kurtesy for that matter.

The crowd boos as Zeus quickly walks out of the gorilla position and creeps towards the ring. The camera shows Corvus jumping up and down to prepare for his deadly opponent.

Klamor: Well, here he comes!

Anderson: And the challenger, from Portland, Oregon, weighing 265 pounds, The Good Doctor Zeus..

Zeus rolls into the ring and the referee knows that the doctor looks to waste no time. He rings the bell and the match is underway. Corvus rushes at Zeus, but Zeus catches him in Euthanasia by the throat! Corvus gasps for air as Zeus squeezes Corvus’ neck.

Serra: Corvus walked right into Zeus’ finisher! How is he going to get out of this?!

Corvus slowly loses life as he drops down to his knees and then falls onto his back. All the while, Zeus is draining the life out of him via Euthanasia. The referee bends down to check on Corvus and sees that he is out for good. He calls for the bell and the match is over.

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner by knockout, Dr. Zeus!

Zeus clinches his teeth as he continues to choke Corvus. The referee tries to get him to stop, but Zeus continues.

Serra: Good god! Someone stop him!

Corvus is basically limp with Zeus still keeping the hold locked in but the boos turn to cheers as Steven Kurtesy runs down the ramp, looking to stop Zeus. Finally, Zeus releases the hold and exits the ring as Kurtesy slides into it. Kurtesy stays with Corvus, making sure Zeus doesn't make any more attacks on him.

Klamor: What we just witnessed was not a match, but pure aggression. Dr. Zeus is the most deadly competitor in all of WZCW.

We see Zeus grab a microphone.

Zeus: Hickory dickory dock
Time's run out on your clock
The end is soon here
And I know you fear
I'm sending you back to hell, Doc.

The last shot we get is of Zeus dropping the microphone and heading towards the ramp as Kurtesy stands tall in the ring. We fade to commercial.

The camera cuts backstage. Both Stacy Madison and Leon Kensworth are standing by the gorilla position.

Madison: Get out of here Leon, that bonus is mine.

Kensworth: No way. As much crap as I suffer through around here I deserve it.

The two spend so much time arguing back and forth they don't see the masked figure approach them and and wrap his arms around both their heads, pulling them in close.

???: Shhhhh. Now now, you two need to stop all this senseless arguing.

The camera zooms out to see Mikey Stormrage holding both interviewers.

Stormrage: You want an interview? You want me to speak on my chance to finally break the chains that bind me? You want me to talk about how winning the EurAsian title will fix everything? How it will pull me out of my depression?

Both nod their heads as Stormrage releases the two of them.

Why waste time telling you of my past failures, when I can tell you all about the beauty in this world that we mask ourselves from? Stacy, dear Stacy, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing you that you look better in makeup. Why mask your natural beauty from this world? Why deny this innocent world that gift? And Leon, do not let your fear mask your abilities. You are a great interviewer, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The rotund Stormrage begins to walk toward the curtain when Leon speaks up.

What about your mask?

My mask? You see Leon, when I was younger my daddy never did accept me for who I was. My whole life no one ever accepted me. Then I found a friend, a brother. His name is James Howard, and I did indeed love him like he was my own flesh and blood. I did everything to impress him, to avenge him, but I failed. That failure tears me up, it shames me. I'm afraid of what these people will do if they see my face, what he will do if he sees my face. So I hide myself, in the hope that if I help enough people see the beauty in this world that they mask themselves from, that someone will take my mask off one day.

This is stupid, I don't need fashion advice from someone who doesn't own a razor.

As Stacy walks off Leon asks one last question.

Do you want me to take the mask off for you?

As Leon reaches out to touch the mask, Mikey grabs his arm. He lifts Leon into the air and throws him into some nearby ring equipment before he walks away.

The crowd erupts in boos as the stable, The Sacrificial Altar, makes their way out of the gorilla position. Grand Mystique sternly walks down the ramp with Mason Westhoff, David Whitman, and D.C. in an arm cast behind him.

Serra: Here they come. The most hated group in all of WZCW. TSA has brought havoc in the company since Grand Mystique took the helm as leader. However, they have recently had a slump since their epic win at Kingdom Come V over the opposing Strikeforce. Where one war ended, another picked up.

Klamor: Drakes, and Myles, and Dragons; OH MY!

TSA climbs through the ropes at ringside and all of them enter the ring. Mystique request a microphone from a ringside official and takes it. The crowd continues to saunter the stable in boos, but Mystique speaks over them.

Mystique: What we did to Thrash last week was a precursor to what we did to Los Magnificos Dragones last night. And what we did to Los Magnificos Dragones last night is a precursor to what we are going to start doing on a lot more regular basis.

The crowd boos.

Mystique: Beating Strikeforce at War Games was a great victory, and I must admit that TSA may have gone soft after such a hellacious match. We opted to soak in the spoils of victory rather than set out with fierce initiative on our next target. Because of that accidental slump we were left humiliated, and some of us broken.

Mystique looks over at D.C., who is holding his arm that is in a cast.

Mystique: Well, no more!

The crowd boos.

Mystique: I'll come out here and say it every week if I have to until you people get it. We will not stop at anything until we take complete control of WZCW and clench it by the throat. Meltdown and Ascension were unacceptable endeavors.

Mystique walks over to Whitman.

Mystique: After you lost to Warren, I saw no anger. Only an aloof face. Where was your drive? Where was your hate?! Just like I told you after your match, it's time to wake up! It's time for TSA to regain that fire that drove us past Mikey Stormrage and James Howard. It's time for the next chapter!

Mystique steps away from Whitman and addresses the crowd.

Mystique: It's time for the era of TSA and no one is going to stop us.

Drake Callahan walks out onto the entrance ramp to a humongous pop. He has a microphone in his hand and is in his normal street clothes. The camera shows Mystique very angry in the ring as the rest of TSA shouts insults at Drake from the ring. Drake decides to remain at the top of the entrance ramp as he pulls the microphone up to his lips.

Drake: Oh yes Grand Mystique. Someone is going to stop you.

The one line makes the crowd go crazy.

Drake: And I'm going to do it at Redemption!

The crowd goes even more crazy.

Drake: But it's time you show that you have some balls Mystique.

The crowd goes "ooooo!"

Drake: I am the best that WZCW has to offer, so I want your best. Anyone with a brain knows that you four can ambush and attack all day, but as it is evident by the results on Meltdown and Ascension, your group of misfits is just plain weak when singled out! So, I want your best. I want the cream of the crop in TSA, and whoever that is I want him one on one at Redemption.

Mystique begins to laugh in the ring.

Mystique: Everyone wants something. Los Magnificos Dragones wants TSA, Drake Callahan wants TSA. I bet even these fans at ringside want a shot at TSA.

The crowd cheers for the invite.

Drake: Enough with the talking Mystique. Who's it going to be? Is it going to be me and you again? Are you going to man up and tell your boys to sit on the sideline while I kick your teeth in?

The crowd pops and Mystique just sneers.

Drake: Or is it going to be One-arm McGee behind you?

The crowd laughs as the camera shows D.C.

Drake: I don't care who it is, but I want a damn answer and I wa-

Mystique: You know damn well who it's going to be!

Mystique pauses.

Mystique: There is only one man who wants to get his hands on you so badly. There is only one man who wants to make you pay. And that man is-

???: ME!

The crowd is stunned as Mystique looks over his shoulder and sees David Whitman with a microphone held up to his mouth. The crowd doesn't know how to react.

Whitman: That's right. I want Drake Callahan at Redemption! One on one!

Klamor: What's this?

Whitman: You are always telling me every week to show some fire. Well here is that fire! Give me Drake Callahan at Redemption, Mystique. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Mystique hesitates for a moment, but then cracks a wicked smile.

Mystique: Fine Whitman. You want to face Callahan, you got it!

The crowd pops.

Mystique: It'll be Westhoff and I dealing with Los Magnificos Dragones at Redemption then as you take on Drake.

Drake: Hey Whitman.

The camera shows Drake up on the entrance stage. Drake nods down at the ring.

Drake: I'll see you at Redemption.

Drake's music begins to play as the crowd cheers him. He slowly begins to back into the gorilla position as the camera fades out on the a shot of TSA discussing matters in the ring.

We cut backstage and see Dustin Hunter pacing angrily in a locker room. Suddenly, Chris K.O. storms past the open doorway outside. Hunter runs to the door and yells at Chris.

Hunter: I could of had him beat! Why did you interfere!?

Chris stops and turns back around to get into Hunter's face.

Chris: I did it because you can't accomplish anything. And now, because of you, I have an unforeseen element added into the mix and now I'm not only defending my EurAsian Title against one man at Redemption, but two! That is why I interfered in your match. Because you can't get the job done!

Chris pushes Hunter back. Hunter retorts.

Hunter: I can if you just trust me and we set a plan. I can help you at Redemption!

Chris: I don't want your help. And if I see you anywhere near the ring at Redemption, I'll kick your ass myself. Got it?

Chris storms off with Hunter looking furious and upset. The scene fades out.

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Anderson: Introducing first, from Somewhere Up a Hill, weighing 350 pounds, The Big Bad Bear, Grizzly Bob!

Grizzly comes out to a loud pop as he growls at the stage. He walks to the ring high fiving fans.

Klamor:
Here's a guy that so far, seems to fall on big matches. Which is ironic for a big guy.

Anderson: His opponent, weighing 138 pounds, Wasabi
Toyota!

Wasabi walks out on his jumpsuit dancing for the crowd before taking it off and throwing it to the front row. A young lady catches. Then sniffs it.

Becky: Gross.

Klamor: Even more irony. This guy used to be heavy. Now if you sneeze, you'll blow him away.

*Ding Ding Ding*

The bell rings with referee Dillon Morse in charge. A collar and elbow tie up starts things off in the center of the ring as both men battle for position. But ultimately, Grizzly's strength leads Toto to the turnbuckle. Bob charges but Toyota flips over him to charge the ropes. He hits a leaping Headbutt on the big man to stagger him. A second one follows to knock the big man down. Toyota quickly heads up the ropes for a Banzai Drop but Grizzly gets away. Quick to react, Bob lifts Toyota up in a Military Press.

Becky: What power on display.

Klamor: What are you talking about? I could press up Toyota.

Toyota manages to slip out before being dropped. Grizzly turns and is met with a Throat Thrust staggering the big man once again. Toyota sends the big man across the ropes and catches him with a Samoan Drop!!

Klamor: HOLY...! What?

Becky: Those are some hidden muscles on Toyota.

A cover follows.....

One...............

Two...................

Thr- Kickout!

Grizzly kicks out with authority and is quick to fight back with a series of Chest Chops. An Irish Whip from the big man sets up Toyota, but the Matsumono Mauler comes back with a Savate Kick and a quick cover.

One......

Two.........

Thr--

But Grizzly kicks out. Wasabi stays on the attack but Grizzly shoves him off. As Wasabi comes back in again, he's caught, pressed and dropped for a Gutbuster. Wasabi bounces from the impact and staggers allowing Bob to Bear Hug Toyota.

Becky:
Oh no, I don't think Wasabi can get out of this one!

Griz applies the pressure as Dillon asks Toyota if he submits. He doesn't. He instead uses his hands to clap Grizzly's head forcing him to release the hold. Grizzly drops him allowing Wasabi to fight back. He charges the ropes but it's to no avail as Grizzly catches him in the Bear Hug again. This time squeezing the arms as well. With no way out, Toyota is forced to submit.

Anderson: Here is your winner, Grizzly Bob!!

Bob drops Toyota and growls in celebration. Dillon raises his hand in victory but Bob actually Bear Hugs him from the joy of the win. Dillon makes funny faces as Bob leaps around with the ref in the air.

Klamor: Dillon is gonna start hating bears like I do at this pace.

We switch to the skybox to see the friendly faces of Jack Cohen, Everest & Big Dave in suits sitting at the Gold Rush Tournament Panel desk, readying to discuss the Final Four.

2na6xis.png

Cohen: What a great showing by Grizzly Bob in that match, congratulations on the victory tonight but we are here to discuss for what should be the final time, the Gold Rush Tournament. Now gentlemen, I know we talked about this last time on Aftershock but after the performances that were given on the main event of Ascension have any of you changed your mind or have seen something from the competitors that inspired you to root for them?

Dave: I'm going to be sticking with my original pick, Jack. Not only because Blade was the man to pick up the victory during the tag team match and is on fire but I've personally wrestled this man, myself. He broke my record of being longest reigning Eurasian champion, a title that I considered to be my best reign in WZCW. He's beaten former World champions and I feel his time has come. No offense to the other guys but this is Blade's dance.

Everest: I can relate to that but I've never been much of a Blade fan. I'm a technical wrestler and although he's got some skill, he has nothing on the Pinnacle of Perfection and considering who we've got as potential champions walking out of Redemption, I don't feel technical is the skill that one needs to win. I think the crazy kind of offense and thinking is what will get any wrestler to the top and as I said last week, Ricky Runn, as well as Krypto, could do it.

Cohen: Well, if you guys are going to stick to your guns then so will I. The Beard has been showing some excellent promise and he is twice the size of every man out of the final four. The Beard has the strength and enough technical ability to match Blade. Should he make it past the semi-finals, what are Krypto & Runn going to do about it? Flying around and taking risks don't pay off all the time.

Dave: Looks like we're at a four-way tie here. Definitely some stiff competition between the four and its going to get even tighter as we get closer to Redemption. Whoever wins is going to have their hands full with the World champion.

Everest: These four men might be stepping up now but they'll need to climb the entire staircase if they want to stand a chance against Showtime or Barbosa.

Cohen: Thank you for joining me guys. Now, let's get back to the broadcast.

We got a double shot of Steven Kurtesy lacing up his boots for the first time in a long-time as well as Dr. Coberer slithering the halls, causing the backstage workers to get out of his way.

Serra: Tonight's main event - Dr. Coberer vs. Professor Kurtesy, next!

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

The crowd boos as Dr. Coberer slowly walks down the ramp, stoic in his demeanour.

Anderson: Introducing first, weighing in at 150 pounds, Doctor Coberer!

Coberer gets into the ring and removes his coat, before turning towards the stage, awaiting his opponent.

The crowd’s reaction changes in an instant, now going crazy for Steven Kurtesy, with a smile across his face.

Anderson: And his opponent, from Sydney Australia, weighing 226 pounds, Steven Kurtesy!

Kurtesy slaps some hands before sliding into the ring. He gets to the second rope and thanks the fans before hopping down and turning towards his opponent. The referee calls for the bell and the two men begin to circle each other, with Coberer looking at Kurtesy like prey.

Serra: We’ve got Doctor versus Doctor here for our Aftershock main event!

Klamor: Calling Coberer a doctor may be a tad misleading… and isn't Kurtesy a former doctor?

They lock up and struggle to gain the advantage. Kurtesy grabs Coberer’s wrist and slaps on a wrist lock, twisting Coberer’s arm behind him to really cinch it in. Kurtesy drops the wrist, moving into a side headlock followed by a take down. Kurtesy keeps the headlock in on the mat, before Coberer manages to break Kurtesy’s grasp and pushes him down onto his stomach. Coberer gets to one knee, digging the other into Kurtesy’s spine and pulling back on his chin. Kurtesy quickly manages to reach out and grab the bottom rope. The referee makes the count, with Coberer only releasing his opponent at the last split second. Kurtesy gets up rubbing his chin as Coberer looks on from across the ring, a sick smirk on his face.

Serra: Don’t expect too many pin attempts in this match, we’ve got two expert submission wrestlers in the ring right now.

Klamor: And neither can get the advantage just yet.

As Kurtesy gets ready to go for round two, Coberer has different ideas, charging at his opponent and delivering a knee to the gut. Kurtesy doubles over and falls to his knees. Coberer applies a nerve hold to the shoulder of Kurtesy. The Professor grits his teeth from the pain, leaving him partially paralysed. Coberer is almost salivating as Kurtesy groans in pain. With the crowd firmly behind him, Kurtesy finds a burst of resistance and energy, grabbing the arm of Coberer that has applied the hold tightest, and flips the evil doctor over his shoulder. Coberer is caught off guard, but gets to his feet quickly as Kurtesy does the same. Coberer charges forward, but Kurtesy hits a vicious throat thrust. As Coberer stumbles back, clutching his neck, Kurtesy gets onto the second rope, leaps off and hits a big headbutt! Kurtesy goes for a cover,

1…

2….

Coberer kicks out! Coberer is stunned by the shot to the head and Kurtesy takes advantage, picking him up and Irish Whipping him into the corner. Kurtesy runs at his opponent, hits a clothesline and follows up with a Bulldog. He goes for another pin,

1…

2….

Coberer gets the shoulder up again! Kurtesy sits Coberer up and slaps on a Sleeper Lock. With the crowd willing Coberer to go asleep, he begins to fade and go limp. In a last gasp of effort, Coberer scratches at Kurtesy’s face. The Professor grabs his face, where several bleeding scratches have opened up. The referee warns Coberer, who doesn’t seem to be listening. Coberer drops to his knees, seemingly enjoying the pain Kurtesy is feeling, caused by the stinging cuts on his face. Coberer picks up Kurtesy, and place him in the corner. He grabs Kurtesy by his hair and holds his head up, pointing to his own throat and readying the poison mist. Knowing that the mist will cause Kurtesy’s cuts to burn unbearably, and possibly cause the Prof to be hospitalised, referee Keith Morse stops Coberer. Coberer looks furious at the referee for stopping him from going in for the kill. In a moment of rage, Coberer spits the mist towards the referee, but Kurtesy pulls Morse out of the way, saving the ref.

Klamor: Coberer just tried to hit the referee with the mist!

Serra: I try not to biased, but I can’t help but cheer for Kurtesy in this match!

As the mist didn’t hit the Keith Morse, he doesn’t disqualify Coberer, allowing the match to continue. Coberer turns towards Kurtesy and the referee in time to see his opponent charging forward. Coberer swings his right hand, attempting to scratch Kurtesy again, but Kurtesy rolls under it, grabbing Coberer’s legs as does so, rolling him up for the pin,

1….

2…..

Kick out by Coberer! Kurtesy kneels over Coberer and unleashes a series of right hands to the skull of Kurtesy. To the referee’s credit, he counts at his usual speed before telling Kurtesy to break it up. Kurtesy gets up, picking up Coberer with him and goes for a Russian Leg Sweep, but Coberer elbows his way out of it. Kurtesy staggers away, hurt by the elbows and Coberer tries to capitalise, grabbing Kurtesy to attempt the Dream Crusher. But as soon as Coberer goes for the hold, Kurtesy drops to his knees and pulls Coberer forward. Coberer rolls through back onto his feet but before he can turn around, Kurtesy hits him with the Prescribed Sedation! He hooks Coberer’s legs.

1….

2…..

3!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Steven Kurtesy!

Kurtesy is tired from the match, but still smiles and thanks the cheering audience as Coberer slides out of the ring.

Serra: It was a back and forth match between two impressive athletes, but the veteran comes out on top tonight! What a return victory for Kurtesy!

The screen turns to static as the arena goes almost dark. The crowd boos heavily as Kurtesy stands on his feet, ready to take on Zeus.

Serra: Seriously?

Klamor: Didn't you hear Zeus earlier? He's got one more stipulation to add to their match. He's probably coming out to tell Kurtesy what that is.

Kurtesy faces the ramp, waiting for Zeus to come out but after a few seconds, nothing happens. He drops his guard slightly when Zeus slides into the ring from behind and attacks Kurtesy. The lights go back to normal and the music is replaced by boos of the crowd.

Klamor: Or not...

Zeus tries to choke out Kurtesy with his bare hands and eyes of a man possessed but Kurtesy manages to prevent it, using his strength to keep Zeus' hands at bay. Kurtesy pushes Zeus away who stumbles back, looking to keep himself on his feet. Kurtesy charges forward but Zeus knocks him down with a harsh throat thrust. Kurtesy holds his throat and coughs multiple times as he tries to get to his feet. Zeus lines up Kurtesy...

The crowd cheers as Sandy rushes out from the top of the ramp, holding a chair and in street clothes as she charges into the ring.

Serra: Sandy's back and she's got a chair. She's here to help Kurtesy!

She slides into the ring and is about striking distance from Zeus, readying the chair as Zeus looks on at Sandy, not sure whether to defend himself or exit the ring. Kurtesy manages to get to his feet behind Sandy and sees what is happening but not for long as Sandy turns around, smacking Kurtesy across the face with the steel chair! Kurtesy drops the canvas and isn't moving as Sandy looks down at him with an expressionless face. She pulls out a note out of her pocket and throws it on Kurtesy before she takes one look at Zeus and exits the ring. The crowd boos as Sandy walks up the ramp, leaving Kurtesy behind.

Serra: What the hell was that for? Why didn't Sandy protect Kurtesy?

Klamor: Sandy wanted to take care of Zeus for herself but when Kurtesy kept intervening time and time again, she must've had enough and this was that message.

Zeus smiles as he picks up the note and realises which note that is. He goes over to the edge of the ring and demands for a microphone. He gets given one and he sits next to Kurtesy, crossing his legs as he looks at him on the ground.

Zeus: I accept your match on one condition
I'm adding something that is not normally tradition
I'd like to have Sandy Deserts watch and oversee
As I want her to be our special guest referee!

Sandy stops walking at the top of the ramp, turning around with a look of disbelief on her face as he announces the final stipulation.

Serra: Sandy Deserts as special guest referee? Does Zeus have a death wish?

Klamor: After the display that just happened, I don't think this match will be all that one-sided after all. I think she being named referee is now as impartial as assigning a normal referee except she won't get knocked down as easily. This is nothing more than a last-minute effort by Zeus to get in Kurtesy's head.

We end the show with one final shot of Zeus sitting in the ring next to Kurtesy with a big smile on his face as he continues staring at him with Sandy standing on the ramp in the background.
