They do, just not a great one. They have a decent monetary backing and could be getting more. That along with Fedor and a potential Couture fight is enough.

Interesting fact, UFC buyrates point to Randy being more of a draw than Chuck. Chucks two biggest buyrates were against Randy.

The only people intrested in Fedor are the hardcore fans. Your general fan is intrested in Liddell, Hughes, Ortiz and others. Couture might be ok for a couple of fights. But in the end people will get bored of watching an ageing old man fight.

Casual people are intrested in UFC, not MMA. A card with an ok main event and an undercard full of TUF fighters would draw better than a show between Fedor & Randy. Becauuse other than those two the rest of the card would be full of nobodies and never was'.

Except that there is potential for them to get more. Randy alone will bring in UFC fans, then it can go from there. More UFC guys could make the jump and Affliction could make a name for itself. Personally, I think events across seas would be smart. The UFC is non existent in Japan and sucks in the UK. Like a said, not a great chance, but a decent one.

It depends. UFC is by far the biggest MMA promotion. And most MMA fighters will be marks for it. They'll work there even if they stand a chance of getting more respect in another promotion.

UK has the best of it when it comes to UFC. Every single show and PPV are all on the same channel. If you're a fan then you can get to it easily. They also advertise shows to death when they come over here.

Most American fighters are marks for it, but guys like Arlovski, Barnett, and a few others left because of the way its run. Fedor never wanted to go there because the best heavyweights fight elsewhere for the most part and all the horror stories from fighters that worked there in the past. Affliction's timing is pretty good, with Randy and others upset and leaving. Tito could be headed to the roster pretty soon as well. That would give Affliction two of MMA's three proven draws.

Arlovski and Barnett aren't great losses. And Couture won't be fighting outside of UFC anytime soon. So they have Fedor. A guy who's not know to casual fans. He might have ''dream'' matches with certain talent. But it's the names talent that most people want to see.

Ortiz would be a boost. But after his first couple of fights he's going to become just another fighter.

Ortiz is like Liddell in that even when he isn't relevant, people watch him. His third fight with Ken Shamrock is the most watched MMA fight of all time despite the fact that it meant nothing. Tito could go in and lose three straight and still be a draw.

Randy may not be fighting for Affliction anytime soon, but he's definitely done with UFC. They won't even let him wear his shirts anymore.

If Couture can't fight or appear for Affliction then he isn't going to be of any help to him. It'll also take more than Ortiz to help that promotion. It'll be the same as Kurt Angle going to TNA. A boost, but more would be needed.

I dont think that if Ortiz signed with Affliction there would be a good fight there for him. Personaly i would rather see him sign with Elite xc and fight at middle wieght if he could drop that much wieght. I would love to see Ortiz fight Robbie Lawler or Ninja Rua.

Well, give it time... Affliction is going to keep getting names as long as they have the funding. Don't forget that Tito and Trump are apparently friendly with each other because of The Celebrity Apprentice, and the fact that he'd love to stick it to Dana by helping make Affliction competitive. Affliction can have Tito fight Babalu if they wanted in the meantime.
