I recently watched Xplosion...TNA's b-show that airs outside of the US. Its "international" show if you will. Now this week we had a great little match, champs Chavo and Hernandez putting their titles on the line against DOC and Knux.

I was very impressed with DOC and Knux as a team and the way they were booked strong in the match (ended after Knux hit C&H with the tag belts) and you also had Taz act as their manager (since JB and Todd do Xplosion commentary)

I really think they should be inserted into the tag team scene to A) get another team into the division and B) Get Aces & Eights more gold!

However you could also put Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff in there. Neither really stand well on their own, in fact some would say they're the two worst guys on the entire roster. Perhaps you could hide their weaknesses and get them much needed experience by having them as a chickenshit heel tag team?

But perhaps... if it ain't broke, don't fix it! You could go with Team 3D! Bully and Devon have tag teamed a fair amount at house shows and a couple of times on Impact. They still have it as a team no doubt.

Or could we get a combination of all of these choices? By using the freebird rule! This would allow rotation of the club so everyone in there can have their chance defending the titles and you could try out various combinations. After all when you ride with the Aces & Eights... you never walk alone!

So let me know which pairing of Aces & Eights, if any, that you want in the tag division!

I'd rather go with Brisco and Bischoff. The two, while lousy in the ring, have their last names going for them. As opposed to Knux and DOC who would just be the generic "big men" they've always been.

I would love to see something like the Fabulous Freebirds. I've felt like this for awhile now. you could have 2 of whoever win the belts, but then you could have Bully say who gets into what tag team match. maybe something like how TNA would have multiple wrestlers in Hogan's office to see who gets in a specific match, and in this situation different members of Aces and Eights could talk with Bully about why they should be in the tag team match. it could even end up being another angle to have someone on the outs with Aces and Eights. maybe eventually after winning the titles one of them could cost the team to lose the titles, and then that guy could be in the dog house much like D'Lo is now.

I do think something special about Aces and Eights is that they are headed by a great tag team, that's pretty cool. The 3D finisher is devastating weapon and it's cool they have that in their camp. I remember Bully Ray saying long ago in the WWE that his dream was to have tag teams maineventing, and him and Devon are on top of the world right now in TNA.

I wouldn't mind a freebird rule myself. Have Bully Ray and Devon win the tag titles to show their dominance and then have Bully Ray be like, "We've been here done that, let's have our young blood defend these titles while we take care of the likes of Sting and Jeff Hardy. " The Freebird rule hasn't been seen in a while I'd enjoy seeing it again.

The Freebird rule seems to fit the bill here. The core team could be Doc and Knux, but you could throw in Wes and Garret as well. Thing is, they've been trying to push Wes a little more based on his wins against Angle. Perhaps give him or Garret a crack at the X division, leaving the remaining three to rep the tag division.

After Lockdown Bully was going on about the Ace's going after all TNA gold. I thought at the time DOC and Knux would suit the bill for tag team leaving Garrett and Wes to go for the X division. Since then we have seen either DOC or Knux escort Garrett and Wes around arena's and ringside like some sort of personal bouncers so I can now see Garrett and Wes holding the belts and have either DOC or Knux at ringside to assist a cheap win in any title defence. Problem is any pairing for tag team gold will always be overlooked by one of the most successful teams in tag history, 3D! So I would like to see them again.

It's got to be Doc and Knux. These guys have been wasted every since they joined TNA. They both have a good reputation prior to joining TNA but so far we have seen nothing. TNA needs to imrpove it's Tag division and adding two semi-monsters who can actually wrestle would be a great idea. This way these two can remind people what they can do in the ring before A&8 finally split later this year.

Why anyone would want to see Bischoff and Brisco is beyond me, both are horrible in the ring and on the mic and are only there to take loses for A&8. The sooner these two leave TNA the better.

I'm with KJ on this. Bischoff & Brisco are pretty damn lousy in the ring and the only thing they really have going for them is the fact they're able to claim a family legacy in pro wrestling.

DOC & Knux are the epitome of low level stooges and have nothing really going for them except being WWE castoffs. They just seem like a generic "big man" tag team.

Bully Ray & Devon are two guys who obviously have the chops but Ray going back to being part of Team 3D would have to be considered a big step down. As a team, they've done nearly everything worth doing so putting them back as a team, to me at least, would come across like Ray simply spinning his wheels.

The Freebird Rule applied to Aces & Eights, in my opinion, is stretching the novelty too far. It works just fine with 3 or possibly 4 guys. The titles could still have some sort of tangible identity to them, but that would be extremely diluted when any of the 9 or 10 guys comprising the group could step in to defend the titles.

I think it should be DOC and Knux for sure. They haven't done anything special with them yet, and I think they actually could make a good big guy team. Bischoff and Brisco really just bore me to death, and it's not going to be Bully or Devon so I think adding DOC and Knux to the tag division would be a good move.

If Aces and Eights have "declared war" on TNA and want all the power in the company, then it is logical that they would want to get their hands on some tag-team gold as well as holding the World Title and TV Title. Gold = Power in wrestling.

I wouldn't mind if the combination of Bischoof/Brisco or DOC/Knux was used in the tag-team division, but I would prefer to see the Freebird rule used, where Bully Ray can pick which 2 members of his "brotherhood" will defend the tag-team titles in each match. It is something that we don't see very often in wrestling- (has it been used since the Spirit Squad held the belts in WWE?) and would make it difficult for the opponents to prepare for the match as they wouldn't know who they were about to face- The commentators could emphasise this during matches, making the faces out to be at a disadvantage to the heels.

If anybody from Aces and Eights should represent the group in the Tag division, then it should be Doc and Knux. These two put together do make for a impossing looking team and have shown good chemistry together on the few occasions when they have tagged.

As for Bischoff and Brisco, It still surprises me that TNA have not dropped them completely or at the very least sent them down to OVW. Neither guy has shown any real skill in the ring and have little to no charisma. Its also very painful to watch either one of them attempted to cut a Promo and are still the main reason I refuse to take Aces and Eights seriously as a group.

Bully Ray and Devon on the other hand would help the division if they were to start taging again, But with Bully still the TNA champion and Devon feuding with Abyss over the TV title, it just seems stupied to have them compete in the Tag Division also.
