A WWE/Shawn Michaels mistake?

I'm not sure what you were exactly looking for. HBK is not going to wrestle again or at least this year (it would be too soon). He made the most out of his promo (especially with him not saying a word & Sweet Chin Music on Alberto Del Rio). Without a doubt, he definitely deserved a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. I'm not sure if you realized but the HoF tickets went on sale last Saturday so announcing his nomination in the HoF was just to boost ticket sales without a doubt (if you were wondering about the timing).

I highly doubt that this will lead to him having a role in Wrestlemania (besides the HoF). It would be too early and ruin his retirement entirely.

HBK's role now in the WWE is to give that golden rub to the next stars. You'd think that's way off when he's superkicking ADR, but it's a little subtler than that. The man is a legend and him not saying nothing and kicking one on ADR's jaw made the crowd pop even louder.

It's called making a moment. Mission Accomplished.
