Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, has been world-famous for almost thirty years. From the fan frenzy of Hulkamania all the way through to the tabloid-driven fascination with his family, Hulk has lived his entire adult life in the public eye. Losing nearly everything in the aftermath of his divorce, a pending lawsuit from his son's tragic car accident, and a body riddled with injuries from years in the ring, Hogan must now start over at a time when he thought he would be happily settled into his retirement. Emotional, and completely honest, "Finding Hulk Hogan" tells his side of the story -- and gives viewers a Hulk Hogan they've never seen before.

The one-hour special premieres Wednesday, November 17 at 10PM ET/PT. Weaving together verite footage, Hogan gives fans a stark glimpse at his entire life, including his darkest moments of depression, thoughts of suicide, alcohol and prescription pill abuse, his broken marriage, losing his entire fortune, deciding to return to Totally Nonstop Action (TNA) wrestling despite severe medical warnings, making amends with his children, finding God and committing to his girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel. Candid interviews with Hogan and the people in his life help chronicle the ups and downs and round out the story of a man who is trying to rebuild the pieces of his empire and move forward with his life.

Some are reporting it as Hogan's ego yet again in documentary form, but either way it should be an interesting watch.

Hard to understand why TNA didn't plug this more...

Thoughts on this?

Oh, and LOL @ A&E calling it "Totally Nonstop Action".

Yep..this show deserves to be right where it is....on the same network that makes Parking Enforcement a reality show, and is also bringing Hasselhoff and his family to the closest tv screen.

Looking at his career, you think he avoided the amount of chair shots it would take to forget what is own voice sounds like ,but its the only reason can think of that'd make him look for so many reasons for himself to do so. I was never a Hulkamaniac, but I dont hate Hogan. But he is no were near interesting enough to me to watch a "documentary" of his life over the past decade. Hell, he has had at least 2 other shows that shouldve been able to show you the same things youll see tonight anyway (Brooke Knows Best, TNA Impact).Yeah, your wife left you. Yeah, your kid acted dumb and left another man brain dead.....but neither one of those facts makes me want to know how you "found yourself" with another blonde young wife, still more money than Ill ever see, staring up at the sunny Florida sky, in a house still worth 7 digits and wonder out loud, to a camera "How'd my life get so bad?". Pompous.

If your a Hogan fan, or even just a passerby wrestling fan, than most of this stuff you already know. So to hear him spend the next hour, basically giving a Cliff Notes version of how the last decade has gone......just seems pointless. The Hulk Hogan experience has little to no appeal to me anymore. I dont feel sorry for him. No interest in seeing the show. Its not a wrestling program, so I dont care.

Not trying to create a wave of negativity here, but I have to comment on the stupidity of the show's title. "Finding Hulk Hogan" makes no sense whatsoever in terms of what the show's advertising itself to be; a look at Hogan's personal life, how he lost himself to fame and the business, and how he's trying to repair the damage. "Finding Terry Bollea" would be a much more accurate title but that doesn't sell so why not just call it "Hulking Up," which not only uses his brand in the title but actually makes sense as he attempts a personal comeback much like the ones he did so often in the ring.

Being a huge Hogan fan I'll definitely be setting the DVR for this and watching it tonight when I got some free time. Like IDR said it should be interesting to see just what the document has in store for us. Many hate on Hogan for his ego and I can understand why, but I for one have always had a soft spot for him and feel terrible knowing what he has been through these past few years. Looking forward to catching this later tonight.

To all the haters... Im pretty sure youre gonna be hating on this show for a while because A&E has a history of spewing out hit reality TV shows. A&E also has a history of reviving careers too ( e.g. Gene Simmons, Steven Seagal, MC Hammer, Hell even Tony fucking Danza ).

So it looks like you're gonna hate for a while. Happy hating to all of you lol.

I think if there was enough material to make a good version of a show like this, WWE would've released a "The Rise & Fall of Hulk Hogan" DVD.
I won't be watching this. Like mreastbay said, he's still got more money than I'll ever see in my life. And a life style a lot of people would kill for.

It was iight...

Although i think they need to drop this whole suicide thing... also showing his son at the church... that was kind of ruff... as i think his son just wants to be out if the spotlight...

The manis a legend.. but the show was really everything people already new from following th news...

In the end the guy is still great... and the only thing that surprised me in this show was when he threw a kick and moved around the ring a bit.. cause i didnt think he could do that with his back issues...

Truly this man has given his life and heath to the bussiness.... and the only think i can think of that piessed me off in the whole thing.... is that his wife is a bitch... milked him for his fame.. then she ran as soon as the spotlight was gine... leaving this legand with no choice but to return and risk the remaining health he has.

Didn't get to watch all of it last night, but it's on DVR.

I did enjoy getting to hear his thoughts on some of the issues that we've seen happen in the press (suicide attempt, divorce, Nick's accident).

Not sure, yet, if this was covered in the latter half (I stopped watching and went to bed right after the segment with TNA backstage), but it would have been nice for him to comment on if he has any regrets as far as his professional life goes, other than the comment that he enjoys working backstage much more than he did in WCW and WWF.

It was interesting to me to actually get to see a glimpse of the backstage meetings and such, and it looks like Hogan is taking business pretty seriously, and I think it's obvious that he has a love for the business and a great knowledge of what works (such as his suggestion to nix a low-blow, for taking out a knee to extend the storyline).

I watched it. I thought it was ok. No matter what your thoughts on him personally are, he is still interesting to follow and listen to. He is Hulk Hogan. After all the years of his life on camera, he looks happy. I guess for anyone in their own lives, that is all you can really hope for.

It was awkward at times in the church and Nick. Brooke talks about him like he is a super hero.

Overall I would say it was just OK.

The damn thing pulled a 1.0 rating, that's almost as much as iMPACT draws every week and it's just Hogan and his whacky self.

I didn't watch it but I'll try to find it. I'm usually not shoving my nose in people's personal issues but I guess the guy needed to clean his name and do some damage control.

The video was done well, but Hogan, Bischoff and Hervey produced the show so it is kinda biased. Not a bad show to watch if you have an hour to kill, but most of the stuff that Hogan talks about has already been covered.

I thought it was garbage. I'm sorry, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for a guy who reenacts his own "attempted suicide." Hogan came off as horribly self-righteous. Every problem he has ever had can be blamed on his ex-wife? Maybe she was a bitch, maybe not. Who knows. But Hogan really didn't do himself any favors here.

Half of the show was about the "impact" he's made on TNA. What a load of crap. I'm sorry, have they done something really big since his arrival, and I just missed it?

Also, I found it very interesting how important getting back into the ring is for Hogan. His comments show he still believes he is not only the past and present of wrestling, but the future. I hate to break it to you Hulk, but your best days are behind you.

I have to agree with this entire post. After seeing this thread I decided to look up the show on Youtube and I watched it there. I have to say that from the first five minutes I was thinking how I didn't believe this was the real Hogan, but just scripted the way he wanted everything portrayed. The fact he kept repeating at the start how this was the real, real Hogan.. I just wasn't buying it. Then you have him blaming everything on Linda, you have him talking about all these terrible things and they RE-ENACT them out for God's sake, and it just felt like he was trying to keep himself "over". It was like a long, bad wrestling segment. And the whole Nick Hogan part really pissed me off, too. Are we suppose to feel sympathy for Nick? And he didn't even look like he wanted to be in that church. He looked really bored, like he was thinking, "Dad, how long do we have to do this for?" I don't feel sympathy for Hogan at all, and the whole thing about him needing to get back in the ring didn't even make any sense, which makes me doubt the entire show even more. Pooor Hogan!

I finally watched this yesterday, and I really couldn't get into this. I tried, but I just couldn't. Watching Hogan reenact his own suicide was kind of creepy. This part of the special didn't make me feel sorry for the guy. Instead, I had this "Are you serious?" reaction to the whole thing. I know Linda might not be angel, but I didn't like how he placed the blame on her for soooo many of his recent troubles, because let's be honest, Hulk isn't exactly perfect himself. I guess Hogan wanted to look like the good guy here, but I didn't buy it at all.

Also, a lot of this episode showed how Hulk made a Impact on TNA. Umm, yeah, what Impact? The ratings haven't jumped like he predicted, and the quality of the show has declined a lot this year. And watching the build up to the match on Impact was painful. Hogan seriously believes he's still got it. Hulk needs to learn that his glory days are long gone.
