8 Man Tag Team match:

TheOneBigWill

[This Space for Rent]
For weeks the battle lines have been drawn between Everest, Maxx and Reaper. It was made official for Kingdom Come that the three of them would face off for the Mayhem Championship, but will they make it to the Pay Per View?

Everest & Gus were originally in for one hell of a handicap match, however, in a last minute change, W.Z.C.W. authorities added Eric Smith & Agrex to the match making this an 8 man war. Also announced for Kingdom Come was a Triple Threat match to determine new Tag Team Champions. Two of the Three teams announced were Eric Smith & Agrex, as well as the Nation of Islam's Jeattar & Rahjeem.

How will this play out? Is it possible for all eight men to make it out without injury? Find out on Meltdown.

PLEASE KEEP ALL RPs IN HERE. ONLY THE INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN THE MATCH MAY RP IN THIS THREAD. RPs ARE DUE BY JULY 21st, 2008.

A black and white video is being shown. It looks like it's an older video, and the date on the bottom corner reads 04/09/94.

Three kids are playing in a kiddie pool. A short, black haired kid runs up to the person holding the camera. He looks about 3 years old.

Mommy, watch me jump into the pool!

The little boy runs and jumps into the pool, splashing water all over the other two kids standing outside of the pool. One of them, a little girl with long black hair, about 5 years old, starts to cry. The third kid, a boy, blonde, about 6, gets in the pool and pushs the 3 year old.

Eric! Don't push Jeremy! He's your brother!

The mother, whos making the home video, gets up and walks over to the pool. Eric, the blonde kid, runs away from her.

No mommy! I didn't mean it! Don't hit me!!!

Well don't hit your brother, or your grounded!

Jeremy is still crying in the pool, he hasn't gotten up from being pushed. The little girl, Trish, is still sobbing, but shes now sitting on the ground by the pool, staring into the camera, as if she was staring Death himself in the face. Suddenly, a loud crash is heard in the background, and the camera turns around, looking at the house. A man is standing in the doorway, beer in hand, he just slammed shut behind him. He begins walking towards the mommy, whos recording him.

Whats all this f*cking noice out here!? Do I have to crack some skulls?

The man walks past the mom and grabs Jeremy by the arm. Trish is now crying her eyes out, sitting on the ground, hands around her legs.

Don't you dare hit my kids! Don't you DARE hit my kids!

The man turns and looks at the camera, still holding Jeremy by the arm. Eric can be seen running farther away in the background.

You don't want me to hit YOUR kids? They're my kids too, and I'll smack em when I damn F*cking well please!

He lets go of Jeremy and walks over to mom, reaching for the camera. There appears to be a struggle. Trish, in the background can be heard screaming as well.

Let go of the camera.Stop It!Shut the f*cking thing off!Your gonna drop it!Stop Fighting!I'm gonna drop you!

The camera drops, and shuts off. (Please turn music off)

The screen is black. The music stops playing. Suddenly, Erics current coice can be heard in the background.

My life as a kid... was never a good one...

Part 2
---

The video starts in what looks like an arena. People can be heard in the background talking away. The date in the corner reads 17/05/06, so it's not to old. A tall, black haired kid in on screen.

Ladies and gentleman, tonight, we bring you, the most exiting wrestling match you have ever seen, when the biggest star from...

Suddenly, a random person walks in front of the camera. The black hair guy looks at them with an angry face.

Hey, watch where your going man! My moms making a video! we're getting ready for Erics match tonight!

The camera looks at the fan that just walked by.

Oh Sorry Jeremy. Hey, wish him luck if ya see him.

The voice behind the camera can be heard.

Thanks guys. You should watch the match! Eric has his first chance to win a belt tonight!

Oh, theres a title on the line? I though Eric never had any titles shots!

Tonights his first one. He's fighting some guy named Paul Agrex or somthing. I don't even know what the title is, but he's exited about it.

Just at that moment, a tall girl with long black hair walks up to the random fan, and looks right into the camera.

Hi guys. Are we gonna go watch the match? The last one just ended, so Eric should be out soon!

Oh thanks Trish. We'll be right in. (The camera now looks back at Jeremy.) Jeremy, you should go get us some popcorn.

Oh, you suck! I wanna watch the match!... Fine, I'll get the damn popcorn...

Ok, thanks.

(the camera looks strait at the ground before being shut off. When the video starts again, it's inside a gym with a ring set up. Theres not to many people around the ring, maybe 50 at the most. There is a referee in the ring, although he looks more like a fancy waiter than a referee. The ring itself looks like it could take one more bodyslam before it colaps under itself.)

I got the damn popcorn...

The camera looks over, and Jeremy is walking back with the popcorn.

I hope you don't want any Trish, I got the last one.

No, I'm good. (the camera whips around to see Trish) I'm not hungry... I havn't been hungry for a few days. I don't know why, it's wierd... So when is Erics match supposed to start? It smells in here!

Well someone told me it was right after that last match, so he should be out any...

Just then, the ring announcer begins to talk.

Ladies and gentleman, welcome to our main event!

Some random rock song comes onto the gym speakers

First of all, making his way to the ring, from Summerside, PEI, weighing 165 pounds, Eric Smith!

A few fans clap as Eric makes his way to the ring, most of the cheering can be heard by Jeremy and Trish, as well as Mother, who are all withen very close yelling distance of the camera, making it seem like more people are cheering in the video.

And his opponent, from Toronto Canada, weighing in at 202 pounds, he is the OWA Canadian Champion... Agrex!!

Alot more fans cheer then before. The camera looks at Jeremy, who is also cheering. Jeremy looks at the camera, then begins booing and laughing at the same time. The camera looks back into the ring to see Eric climbing out of the ring as Agrex gets in. While outside the ring, Eric begins giving fans High Fives, and stops when he gets to his family and hugs each of them.

I'm gonna do it mom! This is my chance tonight!

Eric climbs back into the ring. He and Agrex shake hands, then go to their corners. The bell rings, and they lock up. Almost immediatly, Agrex gets Eric in a sleeper hold. Eric battles out though, and goes for a quick roll-up, only for Agrex to kick out immediatly. While this is being recorded, Trishs voice can be heard on camrea.

I'm going to get a pop. Let me know if I miss anything.

The match continues, and Eric and Agrex are exchanging right hands. Agrex gets the upper hand, then out of no wheres, he delivers a dropkick, knocking Eric flat on his back. As Eric slowly gets back up, he is hit with a huge clothsline by Agrex, knocking him on his back again. Agrex then signals for his finisher, the Canadian Back Press. Suddenly, out of nowheres, Eric grabs Agrexs feet, knocks him onto his back, and locks in a Boston Crab. Agrex is trying not to tap out, and he crawls to the ropes, but Eric pulls him back into the ring. Agrex is screaming in pain.

Just then, Trishs voice can be heard on the camcorder thats recording this match.

Dads here, and I think he's drunk. We have to go, he's gonna make another scene.

The camera then turns around, and follows Jeremy and Trish as they head for the doors, with a match still happening behind them. Just as they reach the doors, a tall, bald headed man walks in the door. It's "Dad", as can be reconozed from the last video. He looks right into the frame of the camera, as if staring pasted it into Mothers eyes. He's not saying anything though, just staring.

A huge chant is heard in the background from the fans.

1!

Dad then looks at Jeremy.

Why the hell did you lie to me? You didn't tell me you were coming to watch your brother fondle other guys, you said you had to...

2!

What does it matter what he said! We knew you didn't want to come, all you ever do is make an ass out of all of us!

3!

I make an ass out of you?! Your the one wasting all our money watching your faggety ass son play with other grown men! He's gonna turn into a *** you know!

4!

Trish steps slightly into camera focus.

Don't make fun of Eric, you fat, out of shape peice of crap. God, I wish I was never your kid.

5!

The father grabs Trish by the throat. Jeremy immediatly goes in and trys to get him to let go, but he knocks him backwards onto the ground. Mom drops the camera on the ground, but it stays on, and all you can see is Jeremy on the ground. He gets back up, and all you can see it four sets of struggling legs, the ones of Dad kicking everyon, all the while he still has Trish by the throat, or so it seems.

6!

Screaming can be heard by the family on the prone camera, but suddenly, the fans erupt for some reason. On the camera, a 5th set of legs appear, those of Eric in his wrestling boots. As soon as his feet are in camera rang, a loud "CRACK" can he heard, and Dad slowly falls to the ground. Moms voice can be heard going from screaming in fear of her family to screaming in fear of her husband. People run over to the fallen male.

Someone call a doctor! He's not breathing!

Someone picks up the camera, and for a second, you can see Eric standing above his father, his face angry with rage, and a single tear falling down his face, and then the camera goes off. With everything black, Erics voice can be heard speaking in the darkness.

That was the day my life changed forever.

---
Part 2 of 3

The screen is blank, but the swift gust of a cool breeze can he heard in the background. Suddenly, words can he heard...

That fateful day... My life changed forever... People viewed me as a bad guy after that... No wrestling organizations wanted to hire a guy that punched a fan... No one even knew that fan was my father... and I can't blame then for not wanting me... Look at what I did...

A picture begins coming onto the screen. The camrea is looking into a bright blue sky. It slowly desends, untill its looking at a tombstone. he name on it reads "Glenn Smith"

That day, my father died... and I was labeled a murderer. But in reality, I never killed that man. His soul was dead long before then. Hell, his soul was dead his whole life.

The camera comes off of the tombstone and moves slightly to the left, where Eric Smith is sitting in a black and white suit. Eric continues talking as he stares at the ground.

It wasn't my punch that knocked him down. He died of Alcohol poisoning. Go figure. My punch mearly knocked his already near unconscience body to the ground. He was dead before he hit the floor. He was dead before my fist hit his face.

Eric looks up at the camera, his face red, tears had been there, but have since ben whipped away.

And you know what? I'm glad that man is out of my life. All he ever did was terrorize my family. He terrorized my friends. Our friends. People were afraid to visit us. My first girlfriend wasn't alloud to visit me because of the drunk that lived with us. We all hated that man. And that day, when I saw him with his hands on my sister, I though "Thats it. I don't care what happens to me, I'm killing this SOB". And thats what I wanted to do. It felt good to punch that man, watch him fall. I would have done the time if I had killed him. I hate him so much!

Erics face is now filled with anger as he looks back at the ground and starts talking in a much calmer voice...

But that day, I lost not only my father... But what little respect I had. My mother, she won't even talk to me. She moved to the other side of the country just to escape her past. My brother, he's doin more drugs than a cocaine dealer could sell. And my sister? She's the only one trying to hold us all together. She's doing everything she can to patch everything up nice and nea, like it was before.

Eric snickers a bit, then looks at the camera, with a small smirk on his face.

What am I saying... My life was never that great to start.

Eric looks back at the ground.

When I punched a fan, no wrestling organization wanted me. When someone mentioned the name "Eric Smith", people actually trembled in fear. But some people knew me. Some people knew my demons, and they knew I only ment good. But no one would hire me. So what did I do? I legally changed my name. Just so I could wrestle. My name was Eric Derf. People would hire someone with that name. So I was back on the indy scene. I portrayed a heal, but no one bought it. So they made m a face. I was the guy that would beat the baddest of the bad guys, and get the big pops at the house shows. Even if there were only 50 people in attendence.

Eric then stands up, and turns to his left, looking away from his fathers grave, staring into the sky.

Then one day, someone offered me a job. He told me he wanted me to be a vigilante charecter. Someone who does all the wrong things for all the right reasons. I was puzzled. So he told me he knew my past. He knew I was Eric Smith, the Fan Murderer. The Father Murderer. He knew how my dad died, and he knew he could use that as a charecter. And you know what I did.

Snickers again

I took it. I became the guy that would fight against those that terrorized others. If someone was getitng a beatdown, I was the guy that would save him, in whatever way I could. Weapons, cheating, whatever it took. I'd stop the guys that everyone though should be stopped. I became the top face in his company.

And then if went under. I was out of a job. Out of a chance. The one guy that knew me for me couldn't help me anymore. So I went back to the Indy Scene... And almost immedatly, I was picked up by WZCW.

Eric looks into the camera again, with a serious look on his face.

When I got here, I was told that I was gonna be doing a jobber gimmick. I'd be all happy and giddy with the fans, so that they'd cheer me when they saw me, and give my opponents a better reaction for when they beat me. I didn't like the idea. But when news got out that I was hired, I got a phone call. It was my mother.

A single tear rolls down Erics face.

She said she was proud of me. Proud that her son had passed his demons, and gotten a chance in the big leagues. My mother, a woman I hadn't talked to in almost two years, was proud of me. So I did what I felt was nessisary. I changed my name back. I was Eric Smith again.

I had my first match. People cheered for me. I though it was because they liked the wrestling that they saw. I though they reconized me as the previously known "Eric Derf". But then I got home, and there were e-mails. hate mail. People wanted me to quit WZCW, because I was a killer. And I though "Wow, this is never gonna pass." I was thinking of quitting. And then last week, I find out that I have a match. An 8 man Tag team Match. And I'm facing off against the likes of The Nation of Islam... These men have been terrorizing WZCW for far to long. And I though to myself "Someone has to do somthing. Someone has to step up to these bullies, and stop them. Someone has to show them what it feels like to be beat down, and not have someone come to help you, dispite the fact that theres more than one guy beating you."

Erics almost yelling now, his face is bright red.

So I decided. I'm going to stay in WZCW. I'm going to fight against those that attack the innocent. I'm going to fight for those that need my help. I am a vigilante. I am a renegade. And I am no longer Eric Smith.

His voice changes. He's no longer yelling as much, but talking in a quiet voice.

I don't want people to remember me for what I did to my father, or what they think I did to that man. I want people to reconize me from what I'm going to do in WZCW. I was those that cause fear to tremble in fear when they see me. I want those that live in fear to rejoice when I step into their lives. Jeattar... Rahjeem... Maxx... You three men will see just what I mean... And Reaper... Your time in Dynasty has made you one of the worst offenders I have seen. You treat others like garbage, like they're lifeless pawns. So when we meet in that tag match, you... All of you... Had better be careful when you step into the ring with me... Eric... Derf.

The camera fades to black, and a single line can be heard from the darkness...

:: A new hero is coming... A different kind of hero... Is Coming... ::

Agrex is shown sitting on the bench in his locker room. The lights are very dim. You can tell that Agrex is sad.

Today marks the five year anniversary. Exactly five years ago my brother died. He was my best friend, and my biggest fan. If it wasn't for him, I would have never made it as a wrestler. He was my inspiration. When we were growing up, we were huge wrestling fans. Both of us always dreamed about being able to perform for the fans. Unfortunately my brother was diagnosed with Osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a syndrome that causes your bones to be very weak. And if he were to become a wrestler his bones would surely shatter. So he could never become what he always dreamed about.

Although he could never make it as a wrestler, he always said that if I made it, he would be just as happy. *Agrex's eyes begin to get watery* So now not only did I dream about being a wrestler for myself, but for him as well. Finally when I was 16 my father let me enter a wrestling school. It was a very small school, but was known all across Toronto. I spent two years there. When I finished my wrestling schooling I had trouble getting signed by any company. But my brother told me not to give up.

Since my father paid for my wrestling school, he bought my brother a car. So my brother would always drive me to the tryouts. *A tear roll's down Agrex's cheek* I'm where I am today thanks to him. I was rejected by many companies, and I was losing hope. Exactly five years ago, my brother was driving me to a tryout for Ontario's biggest wrestling company, the OWA (Ontario Wrestling Alliance). During the tryout's, they decided to give me a contract. My brother and I were thrilled. I achieved our dream.

We were very happy, and when we got into the car we could not wait until we could tell our parents that I finally made it. We were all happy in his car, listening to music, unaware of where we were going. We also didn't realise that we were speeding. The weather was pretty rainy, and just when you were about to make a sharp turn, the car spun out of control. When the car lost control it hit a tree. My brother died on impact. *Agrex wipes his tears*

In the accident I dislocated my knee. I could not wrestle for two months, I was very lucky. Unfortunately my brother wasn't. So when he died I promised that I would not give my dream of making the big leagues, making it to WZCW. Now every time I get into a wrestling ring. I wrestle for him. He is my inspiration. I will not let him down, for nobody.

The lights turn on, and Agrex stands up.

As for the 8 Man Tag Team match, me, and Eric are facing of against the likes of the Nation of Islam, and Maxx & Reaper. These are the type of people who take this amazing opportunity for granted, they don't realise how lucky they are to be standing where they are standing. Eric, Everest, Gus, and I will show them to respect what they have. I have been through a lot to get here, so has Eric, and we will not let this slide. So you guys better watch out, because I am fighting for my brother. I am fighting for RESPECT!

The scene opens with an exterior shot of the backstage area of the arena that is hosting the next WZCW Meltdown. The camera quickly moves through the hallways and backstage area, stopping finally at a door with a sign reading “TRAINING ROOM”. The door slowly opens revealing 2 WZCW medical officials tending to WZCW superstar EVEREST. One official inadvertently pushes to hard on Everest’s sore ribcage.

EVEREST: HOLY HELL! Damn man, watch what you’re doing! Good Lord!

OFFICIAL: Sorry sir.

The official continues to tend to Everest getting him ready to wrestle in the big 8 man tag team match set up for later on Meltdown.

EVEREST: Sorry about that man, I’m just getting sick of having to be in here week in and week out due to cowardly and pathetic attempts by punks like Maxx and Reaper to take me out. I getting sick of having to take on one wanna be monster and his 7-11 manager. I am getting tired of Reaper showing up and needing a weapon to fight his battles for him. I’ve taken more shots to the back from him than Wild Bill. At Kingdom Come I’m going to put an end to it. Maxx wants to run around here and call himself a champion even after all the antics he’s pulled, that’s cool because at Kingdom Come it’s all going to come crashing down. That Mayhem Title you keep toting around, it’s not going home with you. I’ve said before I am not a hardcore style fighter, not a big fan of it, but it’s obviously time to change direction, time to take a new approach. Reaper, Maxx it may sound corny but you’ve finally gone and pissed me off and revenge is coming. It will be finished at Kingdom Come! It damn well may be the last thing I do but those two are going to feel every ounce of the pain that I’ve felt over the past few weeks.

OFFICIAL: Well you do have an 8 man tag match later involving the Nation of Islam and Reaper.

EVEREST: Yeah well at least I will be able to keep my eyes on Reaper and Maxx, problem is I’m not sure if I’ll need to keep my eyes on my own partners too.

OFFICIAL: Why? You’re teaming with Gus and..

EVEREST: Don’t get me wrong I’m not worried about Gus. He’s been around here long enough and I’ve seen him in the ring enough to know what to expect and honestly I’ve got no problems trusting him enough to team with him. Anytime you get to tag in the WZCW Elite X Champion you know you’ve got something good going on. The other two on the other hand?

*Everest shakes his head back and forth*

EVEREST: I just don’t know I’ve only seen bits and pieces of these two. I can’t even tell you there names.

OFFICIAL: I believe it’s Eric Smith and Agrex.

EVEREST: Well thank you Captain Know-it-all. You’re like the Mike Tenay of WZCW. Like I said I’ve only seen bits and pieces from these two. I know Myles gave them a slot in the tag team title match against part of the Nation of Islam. Problem is I also know from what I’ve seen so far I’ve got one who can’t seem to get over past events and another who may also be living in the past to much. It’s good to never lose sight of where you came from but these youngsters need to remember one thing: Always keep an eye on where you are going! The future is bright for them both but they better believe in themselves and they better start believing soon cause if not Gus and I might as well just head to the ring ourselves.

OFFICIALS: All right Everest, you should be good to go, this new flax jacket style bandage should help shield your ribs from the blows better than the ordinary old bandage methods.

EVEREST: Thanks man, once again I appreciate at it. Hopefully I won’t need to be back.

*With that Everest reaches over to his right, picking up a black T-Shirt and slowly putting it on over his head. He pulls it down so you can read the front. It huge orange letters it reads RESPECT COMES WITH A COST and as EVEREST turns to leave through the side door you can see the back with the same orange and large letters reading: AND A REWARD! In slightly smaller letters underneath that also in orange is another phrase, reading: TIME TO GET OUT YOUR CHECKBOOK!*

*With that EVEREST walks past the camera and out the door as the scene fades to black*

We see Gus in his lockerroom, sitting on a Bowflex machine, working out.

Gus: 38...39...40...

*A knock at the door*

Gus: Who is it? 41...42...

Leon: It’s me, Leon, I need an interview…

Gus: come on in, 43...44...45...46...47...

Leon: You almost done?

*Gus shakes his head* Gus: 48...49...50

*Gus sits up and cracks his neck*

Gus: What’s up?

Leon: I need an interview from you, about your 8 Man Tag Match on Meltdown later tonight, you’re teaming with Everest, Agrex, and Eric Smith against The Nation of Islam.

Gus: Ah, Everest, the man who took Rios to the edge, and then some. The man who is the master of the Rock Slide, The Pinnacle of perfection, all of that and a bag of chips, one thing though, who are my other 2 partners?

Leon: Agrex is from Canada, he calls himself the Canadian sensation, and Eric Smith is also from Canada, a relatively young kid looking to make it big.

Gus: Well, what a way to be christened into WZCW eh? With 2 of the best, a man who should be World Champion, and the Elite X Champion.

*Gus looks into the camera*

Gus: Now, onto the NOI, listen here, you arab bastards, all I’ve ever seen you do during matches is complain to the refs, and cheat. Well, I guess that’s all you guys ever do, now quite frankly, I am sick and tired of it, all of you, all you have ever done for our country is take jobs that could help out the economy, and you send money back to the mid-east, trying to destroy this country from the inside, just like you 4 are trying to do to WZCW, trying to destroy it from the inside out, and for people such as Everest and I, who have built this company from the ground up, and we’re not just going to stand here and watch you destroy it, board by board, we’re not going to stand here and watch you destroy Eric Smith and Agrex’s futures, like your people have begun to ruin America’s future, but on Meltdown, Everest, Eric Smith, Agrex, and I will take a step closer to a cleaner more pure America, and a better WZCW. And Leon, I am not worried about their abilities in the ring being able to beat us, the only way they could beat us is with an airplane crashing into the arena. Nation of Islam, you think you’re tough? THINK AGAIN!!!

Gus shoos Leon out of his locker room, he looks at the clock, and walks over to the bathroom, you hear the shower turn on, Gus looks back outside

Gus: GET OUT OF HERE!!!
