8 Man Tag Match 10th Aniversary HBK Taker

Pre-Show Stalwart
When i was watching the 8 man tag with DX Cena Taker Legacy and CM Punk there was a bit when Taker and HBK just had a stare off. It looked intense sensing they still have unfinished business from WM 25. Could we see one last match from these two just that look bought to me that they still have some more for another match that we saw at Mania. What could we see if Taker and HBK feuded one final time

I hope to God that we do not see this match in the near future. They had a classic match at WM25 deemed one of the best this decade that stole the entire show. Nothing could touch that match & nothing will be able to outdo this as match of the year & possibly match of the decade. They have had some matches & rivalries in the past that always lead to good solid matches as well. Having another match between them should be a no-no as it would detract from the match at WM25.

The WWE needs to use HBK & Undertaker to help build up the superstars of tomorrow before they start to deteriorate, knock on wood, & become useless to the main event area. Once they have done their part, they should feud again for one last match where either one or both wrestlers get the proper send off they deserve & leave the WWE's roster of professional wrestling. It would become more meaningful & emotional, adding more to the match that will easily equal more ratings.

To put it simply no, just no.
What happened at Wrestlemania 25 was magic and it will never be created again if WWE decided to have taker vs michaels 2 it would ruin everything. So keep things the way they are im pretty sure on smackdown they wouldve had to have a stairdown anyway I mean they couldnt have just one of the best matches ever and pretend like nothing happened now could they?So hopefully it was just a stare down where they were showing eachother respect.

Undertaker and Shawn Michaels shouldn't face off again ever. They had one of the greatest matches ever at Wrestle Mania 25 and nothing should ever be taken from that match and another match between them may hurt that epic battle. They starred down most likely because the last time they saw each other, it was that match and you could sense the emotion and intensity there. Hopefully they will not face off again and hurt the prestige of that incredible match.

What more could these aging superstars do that would match their WM 25 match? Nothing. So it should be left alone. That was the greatest match in recent memory. I agree that stare down was intense. You could feel it. But that's all it was. Its time to put young stars over.

I'm noticing a lot of no's here. Need I remind you all, that these two men had there best match up over 10 years ago. That's right WM 25 was not the best match that these two men have put on. Badd blood 1997, Hell in a Cell. This match had everything in it. I consider this to be the best match that they have ever put on. You had everything that we expect now from that match. While the Mania match was amazing. There where point where it seemed to drag along. This wasn't the case in 97.

Now on topic. Look you have to of the best to ever step in the ring. They can put on a great match with anyone. We have seen what they can do in the past. I for one think that if they wanted one more match it would be great. Both men showed that they still have it and can put on a classic. So with that said, yes I could and would like to see another match between the two. I don't think it would be a let down, as both men always rise to the occasion. So I think that they would try to out do the Mania match.

I think that the original poster is reading much to deep into this stare down. I didn't see a look of, "I want to kick your ass." I saw a look of mutual respect.

As everyone that has posted thus far have said, their match at Mania was an absolute great/classic match. I think that when HBK extended his hand to 'Taker and they stared down, it was just plain ole respect.

Would I like to see another one between the two? You bet your candy ass I would. They are two of the absolute best ever and any match between the two is going to be a match worth watching. Even if it isn't as good as HIAC or WM 25, it would still be the match up of that particular night. Do I think that it is going to happen? No. I think that the two of them are done with each other and you can't ask for a better ending than the match up at WM 25.

That is all!

What the fuck, when did their Wrestlemania match become a potential best match I all time. It was good, the best on the card, but it would have to fight hard to be the best of the year, or anything other than that.

Why no have the match again, if it was good, throw it up again, that is what I want. Two people that are some of the most loved wrestlers fighting again. Why would fans not want this.

Please tell me what match up from the year of 2009 thus far has been better than 'Taker/HBK at WM 25. I don't consider it the best Mania match ever but it was certainly the best in the past few years and it was something to behold.

As I said, I would love to see them face off again. Hell, I would love to see a full on feud between the two with back stories and back stabs, the whole nine. Be realistic though, it just isn't going to happen. If WM 25 is their last match, what better way to end it?

Well, it depends what you are looking for. If it was for the electricity in the arena when the match took place, it was the best one since Rock faced Hogan. That match was made to feel like the greatest match ever as it got you involved, like HBK 'Taker.

However, if you forget the crowd and the PPV, the best matches, for me, were easily the Mysterio/Jericho series. Those matches were non stop action with great chemistry. HBK.'Taker was move, rest, kip up to make the crowd pop, repeated over and over. It was a 40 odd minute match with about 20 minutes worth of action. Yes, they are old and need the rests, but they were overdone for some people.

Back on topic, no, they should not face off again. It was a special event at WrestleMania, but they only got away with the inactivity in the match because of who it was and where it was at.

They should both finish off their careers by putting over talent, not facing each other.
