Damn, I can't see Janis Joplin written down without hearing Dr Kelso say 'She was an ugo' in my head. In my mind, Janis Joplin was one of those artists who never realised her full potential. However, I think the inspiration to other artists who thought highly enough of her to dedicate songs to her should show how respected an artist she was at the time. Never winning the section but has my vote here
