My sister was murdered by her boyfriend. She was 34. He stabbed her 11-13 times. Her oldest daughter, my neice was there when it happened, she got stabbed in the leg trying to pull him off her mom. She's a junior in college now, her other 2 kids, my neice and nephew were at a bible study when it happened. He tried to commit suicide afterwards and failed. I saw him last at the sentencing, he had gained a lot of weight and seemed to be living well in prison. He gave our family this smug ass look. It was all I could do to stop myself from getting up and running across the courtroom. I was shaking. She was the rock in the family, shit hasn't been the same since. I miss her.
