This may be a silly thread asking a silly question, but here goes anyway.
When you check the "who's online" section under "quick links," it tells you the number of people currently online (as well as who and what they are doing) including guests. Typically, the number is in the hundreds.
It states that the record number of people online was 3594 on 03/01/08, and it just made me wonder. What could have been on the go at that time to create a spike in number of people online 5-6 times the normal number? What was so interesting on that day and time to entice so many people online? I guess it was approaching Wrestlemania time, but even still, that's quite a jump in numbers.
Anyone have any theories as to what prompted so many people online on that day and time? Because the re-birth of the Monday Night Wars, the debut of Hogan, or anything else I could think of didn't produce numbers like that.
