I kind of surprised myself with my pick in this, but I went with Gladiator. For some reason, I thought I really didn't like this movie, but the more and more this goes on, I find more and more reasons as to why I like it. It's very much like LOTR, I try to find flaws with it, but in the end, I think they are fantastic movies.

It's again, a matter of personal preference at this point. Both films were Oscar winning picture of the years, and won their fair share of Awards. I jsut enjoy the Gladiator movie a bit more then the Departed.

I'm with Shocky on this one. I enjoyed Gladiator much much more than I did The Departed. I don't know why because I dound The Departed to be excellent as well. I guess for this one it comes down to personal preference and I simply like Gladiator better. Odd because I usually cant stand Russel Crowe. But Gladiator gets my vote in this round.

Well I have successfully backed Gladiator this far, now it has one more challenge until the final 4. Gladiator has gone over some amazin movies to get to this point. I just can't see it slowing down, not with the incredible story we are shown. I think we face Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in the next round. Let me just say for a warm up, Gladiator needs to go over. ROTK is just the endings of the movie, the ending that left a bad taste in my mouth. The first LOTR was amazing, The Second was a blah, but the third was gross. The battle looked to be a little close, then it ended with ghosts winning it for Middle Earth? Horrible. Vote Gladiator.

Again the right choice. One ting that has become clear is that there are very few good films in this decade. However, Gladiator is one of them. THis movie is more than just action, as the story is good as well. It'll give LOTR a run for its money if not beat it. Departed to me was overrated. It really seemed like it won best picture to give Scorsase that honor again, as well as give him best director finally. It was good, but not best picture to me at least. Gladiator might be one of the worst films to deserve best picture, but it did deserve it. The right choice.
