But Rollins, thus far has been portrayed as a chickenshit heel who has done everything on the sly. I'd say it is the correct portrayal of his character until now, and I'm always surprised when people bring out the "Rollins should look stronger" stuff as his character dictates that thus far he doesn't need to look "strong" at all.

Well to be fair this is WWE where, aside from Brock Lesnar, no top heel can EVER be anything but a coward so it makes sense.

The champ can be coddled/protected. He can be conniving. He can be a cheating coward. What he should never do is falter in his projected self confidence and arrogant swagger.

Indeed, that too. But I'd say that Rollins as the Authority Lap Dog Champ > Orton as the Authority Lap Dog Champ at this point. Orton just sucked as the role of being HHH&Steph's bastard child never suited him, whilst it seems to suit Rollins perfectly based on what he has done thus far(stabbing his Shield bros in the back, winning MitB with loads of help, bringing back the Authority, cashing in at Mania).
