I know it'll probably be a futile effort for me to vote for T2, but I am lol.

We all know List is a great film and all, but the tournament's becoming a little stereotypical. I say we get hardcore and start throwing some harsh punches.

At the end of the day, Schindler's List may be more worthy of winning a Best Picture Oscar, but which film would you rather sit down and watch on a regular basis? If someone gave you a choice between only watching one of the two films for the rest of your life, would you really pick S.L. over T2?

C'mon. Vote for Terminator. *puppy dog look* lol

Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

T2 is an excellent Hollywood blockbuster, but it simply not a better film. The only thing I can possibly give up to T2 are the groundbreaking sound-effects. But Schindler's List trumps T2 in every other way. Acting, direction, screenplay (although I may be willing to argue that T2 has one of the most solid scripts for an action film in the last 20 years). Everything about Schindler's List is powerful, taut, emotional and gripping. Anyone who doesn't feel at least moved after this movie is a heartless bastard. Some say the film is dark. I say it is possibly the most inspirational Holocaust film, a true testament to the fact that people are good at heart. Liam Neeson's performance is easily one the 100 greatest performances in the history of film, and his "I could have done more" monologue at the end is phenomenal. Ralph Fiennes also lights up the screen, as one the greatest film villains in film history. Amon Goeth is a different kind of psychopath, and at times it appears as if he wishes to do good, but something in his brain, or his upbringing, compells him to do evil. Or perhaps he decides it's easier to be evil. He is a truly irredeemable man, at yet at the same time, there are times where he can almost be pitied. He is a miserable man, who hates himself for who he is, and yet either can't, or won't, change his ways.

Fact is, Terminator 2 is not a movie people have to see in their lifetime. Schindler's List is.

I would rather watch Schindler's List over T2 anyday of the week. I just found Schindler's list to be breathtaking, with an amazing(true story), amazing acting(something T2 lacks) and just a great piece of art. I think Schindler's list is just the superior movie and although T2 has great affects and stuff I would rather watch Schindler's list. The little girl in the red coat get's me everytime and I though Liam Neeson was amazing.

I am sorry to one of my childhood favorites. Terminator 2: Judgment Day has made me proud over this tournament, but its day in the sun is officially over. When it matches up against a movie with such emotion, there can only be "one fate". Schindler's List hits the metaphoric lift button lowering T2 in the molten metal. It truly does hurt, but when I looked at this match up, I knew down in my heart I had to vote for Schindler' List here. It is the better movie, but this is nothing against T2, it delivered everything it should have.

I prefer to watch Terminator 2, but I used preference to determine the outcome of matches when the movies I thought were equal. Terminator 2 is not on the same grounds as Schindler's List. While T2 is a movie I enjoy tremendously, it has no robotic leg to stand on.

I've watched Schindler's List once, and that's all I need to watch. This movie is powerful, and I remember details of it vividly. After one viewing I know more about this film then movies I've watched a dozen times. The girl in the Red Dress is one of the greatest pieces of film and most powerful that you will ever see.

Yeah, I liked Terminator 2 alot better than I did Schindlers List. Thing is though, which film is more important. It's obviously Schindlers List. High Schools all across the world show this movie. With a good reason too. They showed it in my class and I was both bored and blown away. It's the more important movie, but not the more entertaining. In this one though Importance > Entertaining.

Schindlers List gets my vote.
