Not as good as expected but still not a bad month. If the rate dips below 8% by the election it's a good sign for Obama.

how are these figures collected?
Do those companies, who hire people find out whether they were unemployed earlier and not switching any company, and then submit the details to government?
Also, does it take care of people who earn money through internet, like bloggers through affiliate marketing?

Or may be, Obama came to a realization that discouraging outsourcing was totally rhetoric, it wasn't helping the economy and he needs to show the output to people now. Article doesn't suggest how are these new jobs getting created, now when Obama is going to go through a litmus test again.

120,000 shows that hiring is slowing a lot. Sounds better than it is, hopefully hiring picks up and doesn't drop again.
