And both Jigsaw and Lector are great characters. But they are one dimensional. Otis is not he gets inside your head, or he can kill you. Otis Driftwood is the best horror villain of this millenium.

I voted Jigsaw too. Technically he doesn't personally kill people, but he orchestrates their death nonetheless.

Also, how many psycho killers have we seen in horror films? This "Driftwood" character was just one in a long line. Nothing special about him at all. Jigsaw is creative and unique. I'd rather watch a movie with a unique 'killer' rather than a run-of-the-mill slasher with a crazy guy and a gun. They say Driftwood is maniacal, and I will say that Jigsaw's traps are maniacal too.

So that's why I voted Jigsaw.

This slasher tournament quite frankly is just stupid, no offense to the creator. The only way this tournament would seem even slightly legit would be if it was hosted on a horror forum, and voted on by people that A) Actually know jack-shit about slasher films and horror in general and B) Aren't impressed by torture porn.

Jigsaw was good for all of one movie before he got old and cliched. How the fuck they've gotten to a Part 5 is beyond me.

Sorry, I love the idea guys, it's just that most people on this forum wouldn't know what constitutes a quality horror film (or rather a good/atrocious/so bad it's good slasher movie) if it bent them over and fucked them in the ass.

Proof of this lays in the fact that so many people here love the Saw movies. I could shit out a more original film then Saw Parts 2-5. I haven't even seen part 5 yet and I can already tell you it's going to be atrocious, just like Part 2, 3, and 4. The original was fantastic, a modern horror classic. It should've been left the fuck alone though, maybe one sequel at best and only if it went on to actually explain what happened after the events of the first film, which they never do.

Torture-porn horror films are the absolute bottom of the barrel man. I have more respect for the Leprechaun-Goes-to-the-Hood movies then those films.
