Wow, there are a lot of people completely missing the point. This week is more important in terms of attracting fans that are not die hard wrestling fans. UFC and WWE are never going to be consistent rivals, because it is unlikely that either would consistently antagonise the other by attempting to split their shared audience. It wouldn't work in the same way as the Monday Night Wars.

This Monday is a case in point. Last week, there was interest generated amongst wrestling fans because of competition. This week there is an existing audience that don't really have a vested interest in the competition aspect, just in deciding which one they want to watch. Because of that, McMahon has to put on a much better show than he did last week. There will be few people interested in comparing the two during the programme, so it is a case of getting them in early. Tyson is the kind of guy that both audieces will be interested in, so it is a good coup.
