I voted for The Inbetweeners.

Since the moment that this show aired, I haven't been able to see past it. It is a glowing study of what high school in Britain is actually like and I constantly find myself finding comparisons in the way that Simon and Will act to how a few of my friends acted during that period. There is a "Jay" in every group of friends and I think that The Inbetweeners has nailed it. I love the show and although the humour may be over the top sometimes, it is a brilliant reflection of how we act.

8 Simple Rules is a good show too. Really, I did love it. I must have been one of the few who thought it was slightly better with the introduction of David Spade but that's just me. Kaley Cuoco almost swung the vote but I like the Inbetweeners better at the end of the day.

Fuck it, I voted American here. For me 8 simple rules was great, the struggles of a father and every episode made me

A) Laugh out loud
B) Have some emotional attatchment to what the characters are going through.

Ignore CJ and gramps and the rest of the show was brilliant. It's one of the few TV shows that have made me cry (up there with boy meets world) regarding the death as paul.

Exactly what a sitcom should be: Outlandish, yet believable. Emotional yet FUNNY. 8 simple rules gets my vote here.

My vote goes to Inbetweeners. I fucking love this show. All the characters in there are actually pretty true for how people act when there in sixth form. Jay is the best character in it in my opinion. He is just so funny. I find it really funny when he lies about everything, especially caravan club. He even produced two of the best lines on there in Car Friend and Bus Wanker. Simon, Neil and Will are also great characters. As are the supporting cast.

8 Simple rules was good. I really liked the first season but I thought it went down hill when the dad died. I still liked it then but it didn't have the same flare I thought it had before.

Inbetweeners FTW.

Anything with John Ritter in it > Absolutely everything else.

John Ritter was the man. In the first season he made this show an instant hit. He's soo god damn funny, plus you have Kathy Segal who is just as funny. Plus Kelly Cuoco is definitely nice to look at. All in all though, the writing is what made this show awesome. It took a look at a dad whose daughters are growing up, meeting boys and going on dates. A fathers worst nightmare. The show was amazing. John Ritter left his imprint on the show. For sure.

I've seen a few episodes of The Inbetweeners. I actually like it, but I cant vote over Jon Ritter and a show that was infinitely better in just one season then The Inbetweeners has been for its run. Sorry british people, stupid american votng here.

Alas...my vote goes for 8 Simple Rules.

I voted for 8 Simple Rules because of Kelly Cuoco's tits ... and some other reasons as well. John Ritter is great and so is Kathy Segal. I never got bored with the show as there was something interesting going on each week. Even after the death of Ritter, they handled it really well and were able to produce some fantastic shows that really made you care. It was just absolutely brilliant. The more I think about, I really loved that show.

The Inbetweeners has been hilarious in every single episode so far and is likely to become seen as one of the best British sitcoms of the last 25 years. 8 Simple Rules is by no means appalling, but it suffers from the same sanitised approach that most modern day sitcoms do, particularly American ones.

Bus Wankers gets me here again, over a show that shouldn't still be here, a show that John Ritter was apart of for like, a month? Guess that makes Paul Rudd a main character of Friends, and he was on Friends for longer than John Ritter was on 8SR. The Inbetweeners is British, and just like Japanese wrestling underrated and better than American, so vote for it here, or look like a US mark.

Oh, fuck off!

Are you kidding me. Yet again, another great British sitcom goes out to a mediocre American show. 8 Simple Rules is OK. It's fantastic and it is not shit. It did the job that it set out to do and at times, I thought it was brilliant. However, The Inbetweeners is certainly one of the best shows to hit British screens in the last decade. Seriously, I have no idea what criteria people are meeting here and I really do think that if you gave it a chance to impress you, you would be utterly surprised by how good it is. Certainly how better than 8 Simple Rules it is.

What the fuck? How is that piece of shit 8 Simple Rules winning here? The only reason I voted for it last round was because of the daughter's tits and my love of John Ritter, but come on that show was absolute shit. They even had Katey Sagal and it still sucked ass, that show is almost as bad as According to Jim (what I consider to be the single worst television show man has ever produced).

The Inbetweeners is pretty damn funny the times I've caught it. Bus Wankers made me search it out and I found it amusing enough. Certainly more than 8 Simple Rules of Terrible.
