Your next NBA superstar: Shabazz Muhammad

Getting Noticed By Management
Went to the Jayhawk invatational this weekend and saw a couple of top prospects in the 2012 class, one of them a probable #1 draft pick in a couple of years here, Shabazz Muhammad.

6'6 SG from Las Vegas, Jr. he scored 20+ in the 4 games I saw, and a 21 pt half (16 minute halfs) in the championship game en route to 36 and the dub. He's a really good off ball mover and gets most of his points from mid range jumpers, but has very deep 3 pt range as well. He's extremely athletic and if he gets within 15 ft. he's unstoppable. Some people think he's the #1 player in the nation, regardless of class. (the link is his profile)

2nd best player besides Shabazz was easily Chris Thomas, 6'4 soph. He's already NBA quick, I'm talking like D-Wade quick, and can finish around the rim even over teams opposing bigs. He's a streaky shooter but when he catches fire he cant be stopped, he played Shabazz's team in the finals and scored 35 including a 2nd half stretch where he scored 11 straight to tie it up. He's gonna be a top player in the loaded 2013 class...

If you're interested in other top prospects at the Invatational....

Other players at the Invatational included Winston Shepard, 6'8 SF another top 50 player in the 2012 class, and also on Shabazz's team, he played very well also, he's a very good defensive player because of his length and athleticism, but doesn't have a jumper for shit.

Robert Upshaw also played very well, he kinda fell off the radar because he sat out this season, but he's a 6'11 250 hoss.

Shaqquan Aaron, 6'4, also played very well, he's only a freshman so he still needs to grow into his frame, but he's definitely got tons of potential. Already has pretty decent handles and great range and accuracy on his jumper. Very long arms and huge hands as well.

Nino Jackson also played well, only saw one game of his but he took over the game at the end and displayed ridiculous athletic ability throughout the game, he had a couple of nasty dunks, one of them a fastbreak 360.
